Whole-hearted support for the Federation of Private Residential Associations

The Residents' Association for my block of 37 retirement flats has been a member of FPRA since 2009. We have had wonderful help and advice from various senior members, and on one occasion truly superb help from a member of the legal team. What they achieve when many of the advisers are volunteer experts in their fields is just amazing. I would recommend membership of FPRA to anyone living in a privately owned, leasehold flat.

We are sorry to hear you are disappointed.

This guide with updates has been used by thousands of associations over the years and yours is the first complaint we have had saying its not worth the money.

We recognise that other people do publish various things on the web, including many things taken from our guide.

We wish you the very best for forming your residents' association and look forward to welcoming you as a member in due course, at which time we will happily refund your £18.00.

CONTRACTORS RISK ASSESSMENT INFO AND …

CONTRACTORS RISK ASSESSMENT INFO AND FORM
We have been members for several years and I have in the past recommended the FPRA to neighbouring blocks of flats. I always read the newsletter and have picked up very useful tips, legal requirements, lease problems and the inevitable management problems, various and irritating.

I have been aware for sometime that we do not carry out a proper Risk Assessment when using contractors, apart from verbal confirmations of insurances and safety. So when I saw there was an audit form available I e-mailed the info line immediately and after just two days I am now printing and using for a new job next week.

Excellent, thank you

Contractors Health & Safety Appraisal Form Request

Our Residents Association Chairman came across an item of interest within the Federation of Private Residents Association (FPRA) newsletter. I was asked to try and obtain a copy of the Contractors Health & Safety Appraisal Form.
I emailed my request and the response was a prompt reply with PDF attachment from a very helpful team. Thank you

FPRA is a great source of info and advice from like-minded organisations. It is a comfort to have such an organisation to 'lean on' rather than rely on expensive legal advice. DP London

As our residents' association has only recently joined, we haven't until now had reason to seek their help. But only this week having received some worrying news from our Board, we contacted them for advice. We received a call within a short time of receiving our letter. The gentleman who called was extremely helpful and we had quite an indepth conversation regarding our query, so we feel confident that the Federation is going to prove to be very helpful for us in the future.

FPRA engagement has been great

Our company has contacted the FPRA a few times now over the last ten months regarding advice and guidance managing our estate. They have been very professional and timely in providing information to us. The advice has been thoroughly researched, accurate and very useful in assisting us to progress our issues. I would highly recommend the FPRA as a helpful and great reference source.
