Won't buy from nor get near they again. Ordered a new softener on 22-Mar as replacement for an old one bought from them. Web site stated despatch within a few days. A week gone by and no delivery nor status update. Chased on web chat 3 times for delivery status update. Each time was promised an email update will follow but none ever received. Rang on 7-Apr to cancel order and was promised an email confirmation that never received. Rang again on 14-Apr to chase up on credit card refund. This time finally received an email confirming order cancelled and refund should be received by end of the week. Nothing appeared on credit card account and had to chase again today 23-Apr.

Reasonable price and delivery of the block salt. Only issue is a couple of blocks were broken but they will still be useable.
I have had a very disappointing experience with this company. I purchased the Palencia 30-way pull-out spray kitchen filter tap for £289 (Order #8291) in November 2025. It was installed by my builder and within just two months of use we discovered multiple faults: the pull-out hose no longer retracts and the hot/cold water control knob has started leaking.
I reported these issues to Mr. James Rolland, the Sales and Technical Director. We exchanged numerous emails and he suggested several fixes. Despite arranging a plumber at my own expense, the problems were not resolved. James repeatedly stated that the warranty only covers replacement of faulty parts and that was the only support he could offer.
However, if the hose—an integral component of the tap—is faulty, I believe a full tap replacement is a reasonable expectation. After raising this point, I received no further response from him.
I find it very unprofessional to ignore customer complaints in this way. I chose this company based on positive Trustpilot reviews, but my experience has been very disappointing and far from what I expected.
Response on Fountain Softnerer’s below clarification : Basically retracting hose and/or tap design is faulty. It is not getting retracted. I am not getting that plumber again to pay extra. Eventhough you send me the hose and new valve I have to arrange plumber again at my cost. Again there is no guarantee all will work out. So I am ready to loose my money with a bitter lesson . I am an engineer and have some knowledge about these things work and as they say “Where there’s no will, there’s no way”
