paid <£400, got 20 seconds meeting.

Paid almost £400 for the trio photos with Matthew, Skeet and Rose and got around 20 seconds if that, and they were VERY behind schedule
When the tickets initially went out, the queue line crashed and i was genuinely one of the first in line before losing my place
the event itself felt very disorganised, schedules were messy, it was hard to get around, and overhearing that fast-track was not available when it legally has to be if they offer it for disability
many stalls were lack-luster, a few were nice, but will note the AI art being sold, DID NOT TOUCH bc god no, human artists first.
The actors themselves? Absolute DARLINGS, Matthew holds a very special place in my heart and would pay to meet him again for more time with him
the cosplays? Fabulous. i also wished there was more Resident Evil stuff going on as it is an OG horror franchise, outdating Scream 1996 by mere months

Great Horror event to meet the stars !!!

I love these events, but do agree with some of the negative comments such as venue too small for the number of people, the lines for autographs and photo shoots can be all over the place and if a different venue could be found this would sort all the issues. The positive for me are the quality of the guests compared to other UK events. It can get expensive, so will buy few autographs each month when I get paid. I think more staff are needed to help with the lines waiting for the big stars.

As others have said

As others have said, poorly managed. Were fully aware that their top attraction guests were cancelling but were happy to keep taking money before announcing a few weeks before the event. Very little communication with people. Had to go through my bank to get refunds as they were not refunding people in full.

From what I heard from friends who attended, the event was mostly stalls and lackluster

Cash grabbing.

Waste of Money

Overcrowded to the point where the market place is pointless, could barely get near any stalls. The best guests cancelled so FTLOF introduced a new date to accommodate them, which is insanely expensive and no discount is offered to original October ticket holders. Waited hours with very little to do, to see linda Blair's talk only for it to be abruptly cancelled mid afternoon. Film sets are comedically nothing like the pictures in advertising. Certain elements of the convention are deliberately left to the evening "after party" so you have to pay again to see them. The only good bit of the event is the cosplayers. Ill stick to horror con in future, organisers here clearly prioritise money over experience.

The place is to small for that level of…

The place is to small for that level of people far to crowded, the price of things was just absolutely ridiculous they wanted £7 for if you could call it a glass of wine which was really 2 mouthfuls at best.
Some of the staff were just plain rude I understand it's busy and people get stressed but no need to be talking to people like that, not enough seats for the panels so should you want to sit and listen to who is on and you don't have seat forget about it,having to sit on the floor isn't excatly what should be happening it just stunk of pack in as many as we can and over charge not the best con I ever been to.
And if it wasn't for the fact I have tickets been transferred to April next year I wouldn't go again, staff need to learn to speak to people properly one woman was awful shouting at people because she hadn't explained the que situation properly,if it wasn't for the fact I had paid money for a picture I would have told her where to go and walked out is that good customer service I don't think so not when people have paid a lot of money to be there absolutely no need.

Worst Convention I’ve ever been to

Possibly one of the worst conventions I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to some terrible ones). The parking situation is diabolical, car park was rammed so all the streets surrounded had cars dumped, members of staff were incredibly rude, WAY too many people inside (which not to be blunt, but it also stunk. Although not at the fault of the organisers I thought it was worth a mention, please use deodorant) food was ridiculously overpriced, we left after 15 minutes as we physically couldn’t move. As a life long horror fan, I was looking forward to this, but I’ll never be returning whilst it’s at the Bowlers arena, it’s not suitable for the amount of people.

Terrible event

Terrible event. Poorly organised. Too expensive. No refunds if can't attend. Guests you pay for that dont turn up. Try to talk to them negative for zero response.

Amazing venus and guests every year

Amazing venus and guests every year, the atmosphere is always inviting even if the place is busy busy. I've gone for three years now and each time I enjoy it more. The stalls are always good, always a fun variety.
