Love this app insightful but simple enough for regular people to understand

I have just finished their Masterclass. I consider it one of the best demonstrations I have attended. I found Lorraine’s explanations excellent and she made it so simple to understand. At last I understand the theory behind making face creams. The face cream I made is wonderful and her encouraging comments have inspired me to try my own variations. The online courses in their Organic Cosmetic Formulation School sound amazing and highly inspirational.

I really, really enjoyed this Formula Botanica course. I appreciated the sequence and the topics of the course, supported by a solid eLearning platform. I found the course so substantive, being really challenged as I moved through some modules with ease, whilst others required more research and consideration. My Formula Botanica lesson books are now companions as I move forward! My overall experience was uplifted by a great support team at Formula Botanica, their enthusiasm visible at every turn.

Concise notes, well explained and easy to read. Being a passionate formulator and a science teacher, I could not stop reading, making notes and doing the quizzes! My target is to formulate an anti ageing serum and the course fulfilled this requirement to some extent. I now have a direction and have the knowledge of some of the ingredients required for anti ageing. Support was good but could be more detailed as some of us may not be able to afford all the courses. A video call from a tutor to discuss the student’s progress would further enhance the quality and integrity of this course.

Great material and formulations

I really enjoyed taking the skincare formulation course because it teaches you so much about the science behind ingredients and the make up of skin. Knowing this will help beginners better understand what ingredients have the most impact. It's so crucial to understand these steps and it separates you from a DIYer to a professional.

Formula Botanica's Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation provides sufficient basic formulation skills and knowledge to make most of the many skincare product types in the market. They also encourage a lot of self-learning and experiential learning. The student support, tutors, alumni and student community are very helpful.

My experience throughout the Formula Botanica hair product formulation course has been nothing short of exceptional. The course content was comprehensive and meticulously organized, guiding me through the fundamentals of hair science to the intricacies of creating effective and natural hair care products.

The modules were engaging and rich with valuable information, and I particularly appreciated the balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The assignments challenged me to apply what I learned, and the hands-on approach significantly enhanced my understanding and skills in formulating hair products.

The support from the tutors was outstanding. Whenever I had questions or needed clarification, the responses were prompt, insightful, and encouraging. Jilly, in particular, provided detailed feedback that was instrumental in my learning process. Her guidance helped me refine my formulations and boosted my confidence in my abilities.

I also loved the emphasis on sustainability and the use of natural ingredients. This aspect of the course resonated with my personal values and has inspired me to pursue a path in creating eco-friendly hair care solutions.

The community aspect of the course added another layer of richness to the experience. Connecting with fellow students from around the world, sharing ideas, and learning from each other was incredibly rewarding.

Overall, the course exceeded my expectations. It has equipped me with the knowledge and practical skills to embark on my journey in the hair care industry. I am grateful for the exceptional education and support provided by the Formula Botanica team.

This mini course has just made me want to know more about skin care so I’ve just pre enrolled on the Advanced Diploma in Organic skin care having not long completed the Diploma in Organic skin care.

I have completed 7 absolutely stunning Formula Botanica courses. It took me 2 years to finalize them and now I feel so sad about it :)
I enjoyed studying soooo much that now I am sad it is all over. However, we have another amazing place for further professional development - the Lab which is packed with gorgeous mini labs. Each lab is officially CPD certified and gives the best scientific information on the chosen topic.
This is the best formulation school I have ever seen with amazing people working there. I am so happy and proud I know these wonderful people who are working sooo hard for us, formulators. The Student Experience Team is so helpful and supportive, Educational Team always impresses! I am so happy I found friends in our Online Classroom - warm community where we study, grow, share, and support each other.

Formula Botanica offer top quality training through their online Moodle system. It is jam packed with training videos, workbooks, knowledge testing quizzes and formulations to try - plus an explosion of resources to meet your every formulation need!

Having had a learned background from my very thorough beauty therapy course in the mid-1970's in the UK, where cosmetic chemistry was an included subject, I was able to use this knowledge to teach within a college environment to hairdressing and beauty students from the mid-1980's onwards. My dream had always been to take this part of my training into a career but had not had the opportunity until I found Formula Botanica.

Having successful graduated, I can honestly say it's been an amazing learning curve, an experience that I have enjoyed from start to finish. Plus the support network with the Formula Botanica school team and peers, through their Facebook group has been brilliant - they are there when you need them.

Now onto the Diploma in Advanced Organic Cosmetic Science and the Diploma in Beauty Brand Business Management to complete the International Skincare Entrepreneur! 👍

Overall, a great experience with an outstanding training organisation, and more to come!
