While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

The same as others.
Suddenly got cancellation of service and "refund" to paypal (not on a card that was actually used to pay for this services) so money go poof.
Awful politics, awful company.
After receiving notice that I'll be expelled from the service because I'm Israeli and the Forge is placing an "embargo" on Israel along with countries (who don't work with Stripe) such as Iran and North Korea, I asked why Russia isn't on the list on their Discord followed by a statement that Russia was always on the list, but accidentally left out a few days later.
That doesn't bother me as much as the fact that ~$70 worth of stuff I bought in their marketplace isn't refundable and only the assets and not the modules can be transferred.
Think twice before signing up and think a lot more if you want to buy anything in the marketplace and might be kicked out on the whim of the owner.
I moved to a similar service that offers a free tier that's enough for most GMs running one game, I'm sorry I didn't do more research when i first signed up.
This company has banned players/customers from Israel because they feel it's their place to be moral arbiters of a very complicated geo-political situation that's been going on longer than their staff have been alive. I'm not Israeli or Jewish and I have no stake in that situation but I hate seeing idiotic activation like this in the gaming space, there is no place for it. They're not gamers, they're just pretending to be. Banning the entire country of Israel from their site is anti Semitic. Also not all Israeli people support what is going on in Gaza. Such discrimination is wrong and says a lot about who the owners of forge-vt are. It's the equivalent of banning all of the USA because Donald Trump is in power or the UK because they've jailed some Just Stop Oil members.
Also their services are rubbish. There absolutely is lag on their services. Your data isn't just retrievable or something is going on where a server does have to be turned on before you get your data.
