Disrespectful attitude to workers

This company is plagued by harassment of employees by management, and senior management turns a blind eye to it. Lenka and Oliver are a perfect example of the company's internal politics.
There's a fair amount of micromanagement. It's unpleasant to work there and to be there in general.

More political BS

Recently footlocker removed the English language from the Netherlands site, while for other countries both, local language and English are still available.

I suppose this is a decision from change in management or something. Regardless, I am not buying from a shop that has racist policies or that promotes discrimination propaganda.

Too bad, I used to buy a lot from there, but other shops sell the same products, and do not have discriminatory policies.

Terrible experience

My general experience with Footlocker was a disaster with below reasons:
1. Terrible IT system: each time I need to reset my password to login my account when using google chrome web browser
2. The information online is not accurate: I ordered a shoe Monday 1st July, but Wednesday they told me that it is a mistake of web and my orders has to be cancelled
3. Error of paying system: Wednesday 3rd July, I ordered another shoe. When I paid it, the order was not generated. I contacted 2 customer service people and spent almost one hour to resolve it, and before I get back my money, I have to make a new order again….
4. When I am picking my shoes in footlocker store in Alexsandrium shopping Center today, I was talked that I need to show my ID to pick it. But footlocker never gave such instruction in advance!!! The staff in the shop is very unfriendly and insist to ask for ID even I showed my emails and LinkedIn profile! They even said I am the only person who didn’t bring ID. Argument lasted about 15 mins. Finally I said OK, I will bring my ID but I will make an official complaint. Then they gave the shoes to me……
As summary, terrible system with arrogant people. Don’t think I will purchase anything there

🚫 Do Not Shop Here

Mistake happens they say and yet no solution till date.

I received the wrong item, I paid almost 100 Euros and received a slipper worth 20 Euros.

No phone number to call, return policy is very complicated. Chatbot and customer service provide you with links that doesn't work, which add to the awful experience of returning or reporting such issues.

My journey with Footlocker started by the end of March. And here I am at the last week of April.

When reporting apart of the promises they sent me a coupon code before refunding me it is so confusing.

I am going to give them some time before contacting my bank.

They should fix the flow of returning, minimise the unnecessary steps. Use a well known carrier that can be easily found. UPS in the Netherlands come on.

Never send a coupon code before fixing the main problem and refunding the full amount back. Keeping me informed about the process never happened.

Both Foot Locker & Ochama inspired me to start reviewing e-commerce website that are using their economic power to get away with such things.

Totally unacceptable for almost a month now with no solution.

AWFUL return system when THEY sent the wrong item

They sent me the shoes in a wrong size, and now I have to spend an awful amount of time and energy on returning the item with UPS. Have gone to several of their UPS Access Point locations in hope of retuning the shoes, but the locations are all closed. Besides that, the locations are all rather sketchy, hard to find and their opening hours does not match the description on UPS' webpage. Which makes it nearly impossible to make the return?

And yes, I have heard about the pick-up service that UPS also do. BUT FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE? Excuse you? 🤯 Not only do I not get what I ordered, now I also have to pay extra to send it back because the Access Points are not accessible? A mistake that you made, just to be clear.

Contacted the customer service last week. They couldn't do much about the situation except from letting me know that I had to return the item. I asked for compensation, but all they could do was a 10% discount code (valid for 30 days). First of all, I was not the one making a mistake. They did. And now I have to spend time and additional money in order to get my money back? And to make it even worse, they told me that I should not order the shoes again from the website because there is potentially something wrong with the system and that's why I got the shoes in a wrong size. So what the hell is a 10% discount code worth when I cannot spend it on the item that I want? I’m just left with a super annoying situation where I have to spend an unnecessarily long time and energy on returning some useless shoes.

Don't buy from this website. It's a nightmare to return items when they sent you the wrong size. Honestly, everything would just be so much more easy if they just delivered with PostNL or DHL...

Canceled orders

Ordered one item on 25h Dec '23 and other one on 31st Dec 2023. They canceled one by one both of them. This is not the way to run the business.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

Awful, awful customer service. No phone number to contact them, godawful online ‘chat’. Still waiting a refund 11 days after returning item. Fist and last time will ever order from them again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Orders canceled with inadmissible timing

I made an order on a Friday, having the option of pick up from a store. More than 24h later, I've received a message during the weekend (Saturday evening) that my order was canceled since they didn't have stock on the store. Tried to order in another store and now none of the stores have that possibility.
This was supposed to be a gift. It will never arrive on time even if they intended. So, awful experience, late response by email.

Ordered multiple items beginning of…

Ordered multiple items beginning of April. It's now 30 days since the order and payment was processed. Not yet received all the shoes, still waiting on 3 pairs which were a gift for the kids of a good friend. Never received any communication or update regarding my order. Company should be ashamed with having such a costumer service. Never again will I order from them. Thank God there are serious online retailers out there that value their costumers (Nike, JD, Snipes and more). Good riddance Foot Locker, you are no longer the only player in the game.

I had good experience.

Despite bad reviews, I had good experience first time. I ordered the trainers on Thursday and got them the following Wednesday despite Monday being a bank holiday, probably because I kept emailing them about tracking number and stuff. The delivery was Same day as Dispatch and was able to know exactly what time period it'll come knocking.

The trainers arrived as ordered, happy with the condition. Their customer service is by email and was very quick and professional. The only complaint is the site says dispatched yet the courier hasn't even picked it up yet. So there's an issue on the delivery tracking of foot locker's website.

Never order from footlocker order somewhere else

I had to return a package and on the website it said the shipping cost would be returned. Now they say I don't get the shipping cost back. The website and the return form are very unclear about you having to pay for your own return. They said the cheapest shipping option would be refunded!! So if the person telling me that they don't refund return shipping why does it say on the website cheapest option, because them shipping to me doesn't involve choosing the cheapest option but me shipping back to them. So I am entitled to getting money back on the shipping cost because it says so on their website despite this person telling me that it's only via ups. Then why not put on the website that ups is the only free return you can make? Because I thought with ups I had to pay too. And postnl is cheaper than ups. Plus I would have to call ups to make an appointment whereas with postnl I can just drop off the package. The website is too unclear in this and the customer service is just blind in seeing your point of view and actually providing customers with service, which is their job. If only someone could just be understanding in their own website being unclear, the return form lacking information on which shipping company to use and the having a deal with ups and just providing customer service. I am never here again and I don't recommend anyone should. Go buy shoes from a different website luckily there are so many out there where you can just return the goods for free (really) and quickly drop it off at the post office same day not having to make an appointment via a paid number.
