The ordering experience
The ordering experience, delivery and packaging was very good, unfortunately that's where the good bit ended!
The quality of all the dishes was poor, they tasted odd, were stodgy and overall not of a standard I would expect. Seven of us tasted the dishes and none of us liked them.
I will not be ordering again.
I'm sorry, I don't like to leave bad reviews but I have to be honest

Hi Deirdre, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We appreciate your honesty albeit very disappointing to learn you did not enjoy your meals. Our goal is for every customer to finish our meals feeling satisfied and happy with their experience with Food Village and we apologise that unfortunately this was not your experience. We can ensure each and every meal we prepare is lovingly handcrafted by Chef Dualtagh for each order but indeed these won’t be to everyones taste. Your review has been passed onto our entire team, if you wish to elaborate more on the things you did not like we would love to hear from you, we appreciate any and all constructive criticism to Info@foodvillage.ie we hope to hear from you again and appreciate your custom. Kind Regards
Lovely food, easy to prepare!
We got the chefs tasting box and all of the food was delicious. The soup was especially nice! The kids loved the wedges and pasta! Will definitely be ordering again. One thing I feel could be worked on is the amount of packaging. While the packaging is nice, there's a lot of it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review Bernard, please accept our sincere apologies about the missing items from your order. As your order was one of our soft launch complimentary orders to test our website ordering system and process before our public launch, I am sure you can appreciate we had some unforeseen teething issues arise. Unfortunately, one of the issues that came to light happened to your order, which was how we cross-reference each order when packing. We have now put a process in place to ensure each order is double-checked and this issue will not happen again moving forward. Thank you for being one our of beta testing customers and highlighting any issues that arose. Without your valuable feedback, it would not have been possible to address these problems before our website was open to the public. We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear your food was delicious and well presented. We look forward to cooking for you again soon.
