We had a great time walking the Portuguese Camino from Porto. Hotels were good, luggage transfer was flawless and the walking was relaxing and steady every day. And, we had great weather with nothing but sunshine!
Well-organized and the accommodations are well-curated. The transfers went as planned. The app was very helpful to guide me as this is my first Camino.

My friend and I booked with FollowtheCamino for our self-guided walk from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. The walk was very easy to navigate, our hotels were locally owned and unique! And our meals were fabulous! I would definitely book with this company again, Thank you so much!😊

I recently used Follow the Camino to organize my Camino walk, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. Every arrangement was carefully made according to my instructions, and everything worked exactly as planned.
The logistics were seamless—accommodations, luggage transfers, and route information were all handled with great care and attention to detail. I never encountered a single problem along the way, which allowed me to focus entirely on enjoying the journey.
Their customer service was outstanding: responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the planning process.
I highly recommend Follow the Camino to anyone considering walking the Camino de Santiago. They made the entire experience effortless and memorable.

The journey with my son was EPIC, the planning and step by step process with Jade was exceptional. Follow the Camino is by far very expensive. I must say there were 2 hotels I definitely won't recommend, the Pension Rua do Medio; and O Cruceiro.

Everything was easy. Including our accommodation check-in. The accommodations were more than I expected. The meals were great, but the best stay was at Casa Dona Maria.
The only issue we had was the Nature EcoCamp in Beche. It looks like they are still building the facility so signage was not very clear. It is also very remote, so after we arrived the restaurant on site was closed even though the website stated it was open. But the sleeping accommodation was fantastic and toasty. It was cold rainy day when we arrived.
Overall, our representative - Nadia was very helpful and easy to work with. I have recommended this company to others.

First time using Follow the Camino to arrange my lodging, luggage transfer, and dinners for the Camino. I found the FTC staff friendly but their choice of hotels occasionally quite poor.
Most were fine in my ~50 days of walking the Via de la Plata. But some were quite substandard, run-down and distant from the Camino.
Too many had no on-site staff, with instructions to call the manager upon arrival or receive a code to get in the door. On one occasion I arrived, called the hotel manager, only got voice mail, so left a message that I was at the door. Twenty minutes later I called again, again sent to voice mail, so I left another message. Only because his girlfriend just happened to be driving by later and noticed me sitting there could I check in.
At another hotel I was checked in and given instructions and then told to leave the key when I left as the manager had to go to her other job. But after I'd closed the door behind me did I realize I left something in my room! Made some calls and a couple of hours later she was able to return and let me in. I really, really prefer on-site managers.

Follow the Camino prepared a lovely package for us based on how we wanted to walk the camino. They were able to reserve our stays ahead of time and transfer our luggage to our next destination. I HIGHLY recommend this way to experience the camino without the stress. They were very professional, friendly, and took care of one blip that occurred on the trip quickly. We will definitely use them again when we train for our next walk.

Jade was really awesome. She made the whole experience very seamless and stress free. Everything from airport transfer to accommodation was meticulously planned, allowing us to focus on the hike as well as rest and recovery. Accommodation was also top notch. We decided to stay at Santiago for a few more days and Jade very willingly helped us with the accommodations as well!

Follow the Camino was excellent. The logistics were seamless, accommodations were well chosen, and everything ran smoothly day to day. It allowed me to focus fully on the walk itself without worrying about details. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning the Camino de Santiago.

Excellent and smooth handling by the company, including zoom pre-info and Q&A, all accommodations kept the standard foreseen, fair pricing. I will surely use them next time.

We absolutely loved walking the Kamino Kodo. It was an experience we will always remember and feel very privileged to have done it.
There were a few things we think that could have made our experience even better. We could have been sent the guide book before we left in order to prepare and get excited. Being given it,just as we were about to commence the walk, especially as it was heavy was not very helpful.
The locations of our accommodation and how we would get to them was not very well explained, we had to find this out as we went along.
a nice touch would have been an email before we left, just saying Hi, How are you doing/ Good luck would have been appreciated. Many of our fellow walks had gps apps from their agents showing routes and topography which were very useful.

Very disappointed with choice of some hotels! We paid a lot of money and sometimes ended up in one star hostals/hotels !!! Definitely not value for money! Transfers and taxi service were good. No evening meals included in price. Would never go with Follow the Camino again simply because of the price!
Eva was so helpful for my booking. The stays were great like you’re living the history.Great experience and Follow the Camino worth to be trusted.

Beware of this company's draconian cancellation policy. My father died the month we were scheduled to walk the Camino Frances. They grudgingly agreed to carryover 1/2 my deposit to next year, but my spouse died this year making the trip impossible. So, if your plans are ironclad and not subject to change for any life event, good luck. If anything changes, you will be out of luck with this company.
