We had not one problem

We had not one problem. The stuff was friendly, the airplane clean and all was in time. Water, coffee and tea for free, USB for every seat and more space than in other airplanes. The seats are comfortable and it's possible to change the position of the back and the part for the head.

Our flight got cancelled in one email written in Norwegian

Our flight got cancelled, and it was communicated to us in an email written in Norwegian (that we didn’t read because we don’t speak Norwegian and the other communications have been in English). I realized it only when trying to check-in online. Since then, I have been trying to contact the customer center but even during the times provided in the website, everything is closed. We had to book a flight from a different airline paying 4 times as much. Apparently, translating the email written in Norwegian, we also had to request a refund within 7 days. This makes absolutely no sense since the service is not happening, thus we should be supposed to get a refund automatically. I am extremely sad and disappointed by the airline making such important communications in languages not even spoken by the clients, without ensuring that such communications have been read.

We continuously work to improve our service, also English version of important information. On Christmas eve (24thj December) our customer service was closed due to the holiday and since we did not operate any flights this day. The other days you should have been able to get in touch!

The 7 days information is a request for you to decide within 7 days if you want to change your flight or have it cancelled and refunded. You are of course entitled to your refund even after this 7 days.

Cancelled flights will of course be refunded, if such a case you should have received and e-mail notification with your choices to cancel with full refund or change travel date/time without additional cost. Cancelled all our flights for no reason.

We had booked flights with flyr for 2 separate return trips to Trondheim Norway in both Nov. & Dec. 2022 & both have been canceled for no apparent reason.. other than they are not choosing to fly because the demand isn't as high as they obviously wanted. This airline deserves a 0 rating.. for taking my money in good faith & then dropping 4 flights. Do not trust them. Terrible treatment of clients. Never booking again with them.. A waste of my time ..& now i have missed good deals by other airlines.

Cancelled 3 weeks before our departure

3 weeks before our departure, they cancelled both our flights saying there was not enough interest in them. 3 weeks! I understand they need to make money, but to change their mind so close to the departure is incredibly inconsiderate. It cost us double to find flight tickets on the same days with another company, and we will need to have layover. I will never book with Flyr again, since they have no problem screwing over their customers.

Delay 1,5 hours. Extremly bad seats on the plane ( 4 hours suffering), 50 min waiting for luggage in oslo at 01 in the morning which cost me 100 eur for a taxi ride to the city.

Good airline

I flew with Flyr airlines from Oslo to Brussels. The flight itself was easy to book with nothing shady about fees, and the whole package came at an excellent price. During the flight everything went smoothly as well, and the flight staff was excellent. They also handed out a water bottle and coffee or tea for free to the passengers.
I really liked my overall experience with Flyr, and can definitely recommend them.

Not worth even one star

They cancelled our flight from Oslo to Copenhagen without any information. When we arrived at the airport, they had put us on an earlier flight, but without telling us. Though there was 44 minutes until the flight left, they wouldn’t let us do the booking.
Told us to buy new tickets. Didn’t help us at all. Tried to get my money back, it was so difficult to get in touch with them and they are not answering my mails. I will never travel with FLYR again.

Lost luggage

I traveled with them many times. But once I lost my luggage. They’re not helping out. I talked with many of the customer care employees. 4 person 4 stories. On the same day, I asked, One of them said my luggage is in Oslo, another one said in Brussels, another one said in Amsterdam, oh well another one said it’s waiting for delivery. I can’t find any truth in the company

Stay clear of this company

This company is a scam and I recommend avoiding it at all costs. My partner and I booked a flight with them from Edinburgh to Oslo and every step of the process was riddled with problems. From changing the time and date of our flights numerous times, forcing me to pay more for accommodation, to a complete indifference when no suitcase arrived in Oslo. We arrived in the middle of the night, after a long delay in boarding, and there was no one to talk to at Oslo airport that could have given us answers, no passenger had received their luggage, and no one had contacted us to let us know what's going on with our luggage and if we should expect to receive it at any point. We got stuck not even able to buy a toothbrush, and the company did not care. After we got back, we discovered that the suitcases stayed behind in a warehouse at Edinburgh airport, and we had to go to pick them up ourselves.
The customer service has been horrible; they don't reply to emails, they don't pick up calls, and a month later we are still waiting to hear back about our compensation, which does not even begin to cover our expenses of having to re-buy all of our clothes and hygiene products anew. Time we lost, the inconvenience and the complete silence on this airline's side make it one of the most outrageous experiences I have ever had. We have been chasing them for over a month and still nothing. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Flying with them is not worth the money you'll hope to be saving. Choose a reliable company.

I would give them 0 stars if I could

I would give them 0 stars if I could, WORST AIRLINE I HAVE EVER FLOWN. Reasons are they lost my luggage, you can’t call them because they NEVER PICK UP, either it is ringing for hours or it hangs up by it self. I contacted costumer service and all they do is take me in DAMN CIRCLES. I have reported that it’s lost (I have the claim number and still WAITING) and it’s up to the airline to find it and bring it the back. But unfortunately that’s not the case. All of my and my boyfriend clothes, new shoes, purses, MEDICATIONS ARE GONE. If you are American you would know that insurance SUCKS so I have to pay for my own meds, now I have to repay the two medications THEY lost which cost 2,145. WE are in Venice which it’s suppose to be the best time but now we are stuck wearing the same clothes and have to buy new clothes. The clothes in Venice is pricey so yea FLYR YOU CAN SUCK IT!!!!! Me and my four friends along the trip are NEVER FLYING WITH YOU AGAIN, I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I MEET TO NOT FLY WITH YOU. Btw it wasn’t just my bag there was a line >.>, 6 people on our flight lost there luggage to the SAME AIRLINE. So please don’t fly with Flyr.

Bad customer experience

Unfortunately they proved to be very unprofessional. I bought a ticket that they cancelled without noticing me about the changes they'd done. I found out randomly checking the status of the ticket in the account. My flight had been moved 7 hours later affecting my entire departure. My advice: don't waste your money with a company that doesn't respect its customers.

Lost luggage

What a disappointment. I flew from Oslo to Brussels on the 21 of july, that’s 10 days ago now.
First of all, by the time you pay for your tickets, the additional fees almost double the price. So no, they’re not cheap, if you have a suitcase and want some insurance. Oh well…
But then there’s the real problem: FLYR managed to lose my suitcase. I filled in a PIR form, but if you use the tracking system, the reply is they don’t know FLYR airlines. I had paid for an extra luggage insurance at BlueRibbonBags. But there’s no way to submit a claim at BlueRibbonBags, since FLYR is not in their list of airlines??
No reaction either on my daily mails to FLYR, no reaction on chat.
So I lost my suitcase, and they won’t do anything to get it back.
Stay away.

Flyr lost my bag July 11th in…

Flyr lost my bag July 11th in Edinburgh. There was nobody from the airline, nobody from Menzie's (their baggage handler) and nobody from the airport at lost luggage window anywhere at all after we waited 3 hours hoping our luggage would show up. I finally filled out a PIR form and handed it to a gentleman who worked for the airport who said he would turn the form in. I called, visited the airport and spoke to Flyr by email, chat and by phone for the next 2 weeks non stop. Nobody knew anything and everyone pointed me in circles. To complete the circle, I went back to edinburg airport and wound up speaking to the very same guy that had accepted my PIR form personally. He stated he had never heard of Flyr and that no such airline existed at Edinburg. Fortunately, I had taken his picture July 11th with my form in his hand and when I showed him his picture it all started coming back to him. Then I filled out my third PIR form and since then have gotten nothing but people from Flyr asking me for all of the very same information I had filled out 3 times on a PIR report, handed in, emailed and sent via chat up until today a full 3 weeks later there is no indication that anyone has done anything and have not given me any information at all. Very sad experience so far at Flyr.

Oslo-Barcelona

we travelled from Oslo to Barcelona (tur/retur) Booked the tickets late in the summer, and still, Flyr had the best prices. A lot of strikes from other companies (regarding luggage etc) but we didn’t have any problem. On board : water and hot drinks are offered, very reasonable prices on the rest of the menu, USB chargers, clean planes, (amazing uniforms), the hostesses and stewards were amazing. On the flight back, the hostess let a little girl helped her, she even tried the jacket of her uniform and got a little note from the company, no doubt this little girl will remember the flight.
Recommended 100%.

It doesn’t deserve at all 1 star they have a phone number which I’m calling everyday and waiting 30 minutes in line whiteout nobody answering zero customer service help at all I don’t know where to call or who to contact for my tickets they should close the company
