Overall I had an OK experience with Norse. The flight was 6h late, waiting on the plane, for an 11h trip. I was told I could get compensation. I made a claim and sent them another email after not he... See more

I must say I was very disappointed with…
I must say I was very disappointed with this airline. This was my first time flying with Norse and I’ve booked a trip with three other females to New York. We paid for bulkhead seats and we were told a week before we were due to go that our aircraft had been changed so we believed that we would still be in bolt head seats at it would be a light for like a pump going onto the aircraft we was put further back in the economy cabins which I pacifically booked the bulkhead seats as I suffer with irritable leg syndrome. We was told at the airport that we would be refunded for the Seats however this is not the case I have since been back and gone through the process of trying to claim back a refund and I had an email this morning to say a refund will not be issued and this can sometimes happen on flights. There is no guarantee my argument with this as we were met by a gentleman on the flight who had not booked bulkhead seats, but he was automatically put in a bulkhead seat which there possibly was others as well. I have flown many airlines but I have to say this one I’m very disappointed with and I will not be flying with them again. I now have to explain to my party that they will not be getting a refund which is very poor customer service.
First time flying with Norse Atlantic…
First time flying with Norse Atlantic from Gatwick to JFK best flight ever from arriving at JFK airport and back to London boarding was so easy and the flight attendants were fantastic so friendly I love the uniform one if not the best I would highly recommend them
Dont waste your time contacting Norse for compensation...
If you're trying to claim compensation from Norse for a cancelled flight or being denied boarding, don’t waste your time dealing directly with the airline—you’ll get nowhere.
Take it to small claims court.
We’ve done exactly that. We’ve only received part payment so far, but the case is now in the hands of the court. If the airline doesn’t pay the full compensation owed, enforcement action (including bailiffs) will follow.
It’s the only way we’ve seen real progress.
Disgusting and disgraceful Flight Attendant
Disgusting and disgraceful. My daughter arrived yesterday from Bangkok. She is a British Passport holder. Apart from the long 9 hours flight she was refused a meal in board although included in the price. While all the passengers were served a meal my young daughter was told we don’t have enough meals for everyone so you will not be served. Please investigate this miserable situation and sack this trash who works as a flight attendant. She was served a meal after one hour.

Stay away from Norse at all costs.
If I could I would give this company no stars at all. They cancelled my confirmed international return flight with no additional options and won’t give me a refund somehow. I say “somehow” because they have this cute system where you can’t talk to anyone on the phone, you can’t even communicate through email. The only recourse is to talk with an AI chat bot. I will NEVER book anything with this company again and I urge anyone reading this to save the headache 🤕
Flight cancellation
I bought 2 return tickets for the USA on 25 January 2026 but they started rescheduling our return flight. Although that was inconvenient, we accepted to return 2 days earlier. And last week when I asked about outbund flight (FromAthens-Greece to New York) I learned the flight had been cncelled. They offered to reschedule our outbound flight to New York on25 april and retun 4 or 5 May. I selected 5 May but keeping costs and conditions theame or a full refund and a compensasion for missed interviews I had booked. I have had no answer since April. 7.
"Dear Alice,
After my repeated efforts to make sure that my new return flight from the USA is confirmed and after the silence on your part, I would like to apply for a full refund of my money paid to buy the flight plus $1000 for the cancellation of professional interviews I had scheduled there. I'm not mentioning my painful feeling of not seeing my son due to your cancellation for no reason. I will also use relevant sites to post my complaint against Norse to begin with."
Looking forward to your reply"
Avoid at all costs
One star is too generous, we had the mis-fortune of using the Airline last August when we had planned a trip to NY. Our flight was delayed by 22hrs, there are no ground crew to assist and there was a complete lack of information. We started the compensation claim which took 8 months and we were eventually compensated but only after lodging a claim through the court. Our compensation was paid to our account on the last day before Enforcement Agents were instructed to attend their premises to remove goods. This is a long drawn out process and the only way you will get your money back is via the small claims court. I would recommend that you pay the extra and fly with a more reputable Airline as Norse lost us a day of our holiday. Avoid at all costs
My 19 year old son booked his first…
My 19 year old son booked his first American holiday with his girlfriend and of course the cost was important in his decision to book with Norse.
Fast forward and Norse tell him that his return flight ‘has been disrupted’ they offer him a flight 2 days later. We assume that having given him 2 weeks notice there is no compensation. It isn’t actually clear reading their information.
He had bought his actual seats for outbound and return.
His new return flight did not include his seats.
There is a statement that ‘If you change your flight that your seats will not be transferred’
He did not voluntarily change his flight.
Poor guy has a £250 increase for new seats and accommodation. I haven’t dared tell him about the likelihood of delays etc.
Poor communication terrible airline
Booked on a flight out of Manchester on 19 Dec 25 to meet up with P + O cruise ship Arvia in Barbados. Scheduled departure time 1155hrs actual departure time 1655hrs. They knew 3 days before this flight was going to be delayed so why not tell us. Missed an evening in Barbados because of it.
Coming back scheduled to leave Barbados at 1910 hrs on 2nd Jan 2026, actually departed 2240 hrs, so delayed both ways.
I know I am entitled to compensation under European law and have been trying to get some form of response from Norse, received one e mail saying customer support will contact me but nothing.
P + O were about as much help as a chocolate fire guard.
My advice to anybody thinking of flying
with Norse is, don't fly with someone else!
Good standard Airline
I read reviews on here and was so worried about our flights but I need not have, it was absolutely good and no different to everything on a Tui flight. It was a dreamliner, same as many other airlines and the legroom and comfort was just the same as other flights. The crew were professional and pleasant and the food was ok, not fantastic but standard flight meals. I must admit it was a charter flight (booked by P&O for a cruise ). Their earphones are rubbish so to hear their movies i would recommend bringing your own wired ones with a 3.5 jack. The movie choices were poor, not as good as other airlines but some were new releases and they were ok. The flights were on time and we checked in at Manchester with very little queue time. I would defo fly with them again.
Overall POOR
Used Norse Atlantic Airways for our trip to Orlando. Booking was easy, check in a bit rigorous for passengers so not great start to a trip.
Flight was ok, close basic so knew wouldn't get anything special. Crew were average and not particularly friendly both ways.
They didn't seem to have any intentions to tell passengers to stay in seats when seat belt lights on as walking about cabin.
Reported a broken seat arm for me and wasn't able to recline , have logged this with Norse twice and no response. Unable to call or email. Reliant on the chat bot sending to the Customer Care Team. Even Insta and X you can't send a direct message.
Overall not a great experience so we won't be using Norse again!!!
Will never book Norse again!
I booked a trip to NYC in December 2025 for April 2026, as it was a really good deal and I’d previously flown Norse without issues. The flight was their normal 1pm flight arriving mid afternoon NYC time. With this in mind, I stayed at the airport overnight to avoid any issues with arriving via train in time for the early morning check-in. Well it was for nothing. When I went to check-in the rep told me my flight was at 8:30pm!! I showed her my confirmation with the 1 pm time and she was also puzzled. In any case, she checked me and my bags in for the 8:30pm flight arriving in NYC at 1am. Needless to say I was very stressed out at this point! I now had a whole day ahead at the airport, so I booked back into the hotel for more additional cost. I went back to the Norse counter later when it opened for my 8:30pm flight and after several tries spoke to a supervisor. This time I was told that the reservation had been changed in January by Norse and I should have been notified. Well I check my junk mail daily as a precaution and there was nothing from Norse in January or any other time notifying me of the time change. Had I received such a reservation change, I’d have insisted on a change of date to an earlier time flight! The rep said there was nothing they could do as they were agency staff, your only access to any customer service are the online BOTs!! I want to know how an airline is allowed to operate in the UK with passengers having no access to proper customer service? To top it all off, when I arrived in NYC at now 1:30 am I discovered my checked bag was not there! Thanks to great JFK customer service, they filled in the paper work for me and tracked my bag back to Gatwick. It was delivered to me half way through my trip! So trip mostly ruined!! I travel quite often, but I will never fly Norse again!! You get what you pay for!
DONT USE THEM
The customer service with this company doesn’t even exsist!!!
No phone number, chat robot that doesn’t ever put you through to a human, customer care email addresses - only get a response when you ask for a refund.
But they are happy enough to update social media and read posts and stories that I have posted about them!
My daughter is due to dance in a competition in Florida and Norse have cancelled all flights leaving me to pay extortionate prices for new flights!! They have completely ruined the whole experience!
Helpful resolving fraud
I had a fraudulent experience trying to reach Norse.
When I searched google for the Norse customer service number, Google AI overviews confidently provided a phone number for Norse, but which was actually the number of a fraudulent organization posing as Norse. The representatives on the call were very convincing impersonating Norse.
Always double check the results google serves up. Norse customer service has no phone and only communicates by email.
When I discovered the fraudulent scheme, Norse customer service responded on email and helped sort out the refund promptly.
When I googled the phone number I discovered it listed on scam websites posing as airlines as well.
Why have such a small personal item…
Why have such a small personal item allowance? 15cm wide is just too small for most backpacks even Ryanair the super budget short haul allow for 20cm. They use the same planes as everyone else, it’s just a tactic to get you to pay more by putting it in the hold. And the cost of putting it in the hold at the airport is nearly the same cost as the ticket
A Genuine 5star experience ✨️
I had booked with Norse Atlantic after missing my flight with Virgin airline on purpose to extend my stay in Cape Town as they wanted to charge me same price going one way back up on another date so I decided to find something cheaper during this difficult time and so having booked Norse Atlantic and never flown with them before I was about to miss my flight having seen all the bad reviews on here and a 1.7 rating... But so I chance it with my brother and flew with Norse Atlantic and my gosh it has now topped my best flight experience and comfort from any other airliner I've flown before and I don't like to leave reviews but having seen all these bad reviews and was gonna miss the flight and let these bad reviews justify the experience for me. Well having experienced it myself I'll be only flying with Norse Atlantic from now on. I don't care that you have to pay for all the extra why is anyone complaining about it when they're like £400+ cheaper than any other airliner that wants to rip you off during this time. So ***** experience for Norse it is genuine my best experience on a 12hr flight
They cancelled flight, no refund? AVOID!
I booked a flight to and from Rome, three months ahead of time. Now they sent me an email saying my first flight was cancelled. No explanation why. I go to the website. They offer rebooking or refund. The rebooking doesn't work. So I go for the refund. After the process, they say, we'll let you know. Nowhere to get more information, no email to me, no nothing. I go back and chat with the AI. The AI knows nothing about my cancelled flight and says I am not eligible for a refund. I have to insist that they cancelled the flight not me. The AI suddenly becomes interested. "Did you apply for a refund?" NO! WHERE!? Idiots. Of course there is no way to speak to a human being. Finally I found a place to apply for a refund. They ask for all my information again, what I just gave them, they also want my bank account number and routing number. After all of this, they send me an email saying they are working on it and will get back to me in six to eight weeks!
Flight cancelled it’s been 3months and…
Flight cancelled it’s been 3months and still waiting for compensation
No replies to any emails
Absolutely no customer service when something goes wrong
Flight on time
Flight on time. Except for that, horrible. Got an email a couple of days before departure that the in flight entertainment system wasn’t going to work. Offered a voucher of 25 euro as a compensation and claimed it could only be collected through their online chat bot, which wasn’t possible. No telephone number and very hard to even find an email address. When I finally found one it took the one month to answer and specify that the voucher could only be collected for a future Norse flight. Which of course will never happen. On flight staff extremely impolite. Seats very uncomfortable.
