Recommended

I cannot understand the diametrically opposite reviews for Flying Tiger Models. I purchase Herpa Wings from several retailers , and consistently find Flying Tiger extremely efficient and professiomal. Their careful packaging is the best in the business. My only minor complaint is that stock availability is not always updated promptly on the web site , but the other model shops I use also have this problem.

Thanks for all your help

I have no problem with flying Tigers diecast models. I put my order in when my order arrives. He lets me know he’ll send them out the same day. My order blackjack has arrived today so I have no problem with flying Tigers. Thanks again RICH for all your help with my order.

Flying Tigers Models

Read a few bad reviews about this company and some good ones. Having never used them before I was not sure but I went ahead and ordered and I'm glad I did.
Communication was first class I was told how my order was going any email I sent was answered promptly. My order arrived on time it was well packaged and well addressed I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

Absolutely Fine

Bought with a bit of trepidation given some of the other reviews but, honestly, couldn't have had a better experience. Got my order within four days (two of which were over the weekend), received shipping updates at dispatch and when the order was out for delivery. The only way it could have been better is if they'd given me the model for free (probably not a sustainable business paractice).

Can't speak for others of course but my experience was seamless.

I Will Never Deal With Them Again

The following is my latest experience with Flying Tiger models and the reason I will not be dealing with them again.

I purchased a model on the 23rd of November (a Saturday) This model was listed as in stock. They do not work weekends so I would have expected the model to be dispatched on the 25th or 26th of November. I received no dispatch confirmation through the week and contacted them on Friday the 29th of November. This was an e-mail asking about the status of the order and if there was any problems. I had zero reply to this as well as no reply to the telephone call.

After receiving no further communication to my enquiry I filed a dispute with paypal to cancel both orders. These cases have been closed and I was refunded for both orders.

However, I also received a 3rd refund for a model I had purchased previously in the year, which was already on my shelf. I contacted the very same e-mail address to ask how I would return this money and received a reply within 2 hours of sending it.

So, no replies to my order enquiry of a model listed as in stock, no dispatch notification, the paypal dispute, still with zero communication only to receive a reply so soon once money was wrongfully paid out.

It's a shame because having had a good experience with hassle free service earlier in the year, I find this in very poor taste and like I mentioned at the beginning of this review, will not be dealing with them again.

Zero customer support

Zero customer support, damaged model just wants to give small refund in % damaged part price is close to double

Not recommend very cocky behavior and zero thinking allong with even longtime customers time retirement

Take money - deliver nothing

I can only echo the other 1 star reviews. No delivery - no communication.
I have emailed numerous times and zero replies.
Maybe they sometimes deliver but do you really want your order to be a lottery!

Horrific Customer Service - They Don't Reply!

I've emailed them five times in the last few months. The first couple of times to get an ETA on a display stand, then after no responses, three times to cancel an order and after weeks of waiting...no response.
This business is truly abysmal when it comes to customer service - avoid like the plague.

To the other reviewer who says to call them: 1. Some of us live overseas and the times don't align well, and 2. If you advertise an email address to contact, then you should get a response.

Surprised at previous reviews

Having read previous reviews, i admit to being a little taken aback. I have bought numerous models from Flying Tigers in the past, and though there has been one or two issues, they have been very minor things.
Usually, when dealing with the company, i phone them and have always sorted things quickly and efficiently.
Richard is a quietly spoken man with bags of knowledge, and has always been polite, efficient and helpful. Personally, i would not hesitate to use Flying Tigers and would just say, if you have any problems, call him. What few issues ive had have been out of his control and, as stated, are always put right quickly and efficiently. Of course, you have to speak as you find, and ill tell you this, there is at least one other on line model seller i definitely WOULDNT endorse, terrible customer service. Flying Tigers, definitely recommended.

Online aspect of company requires improvement

I placed an order worth over £300 on 6th August 2021 and paid £7 for parcel force delivery. I received a call on 13th August advising one of the items would not be in stock for one month however other items would be delivered at the end of the following week (20th August 2021). It was agreed the item not in stock would be refunded so I could purchase this elsewhere as it was for my sons birthday on 22nd August.

After numerous calls and messages on facebook I was eventually refunded for the out of stock item on 31st August 2021. This item was showing as back in stock on their website however they confirmed it was still on pre-order. Why have it listed as in stock to disappoint further customers.

Following more emails two of my items were delivered on 9th September. I have again reached out to the company via email for an estimate of when my last item (an airport mat priced nearly £70). None of the emails have been responded too which is a bit frustrating. When Richard rang me he sounded a lovely man I think it is a small family business and they need support in terms of the online aspect as they don't seem able to keep the website up to date with stock and as the other review also notes they don't respond to online customer queries.

I have a very disappointed 10 year old who used his birthday money to buy this mat (it was originally ordered for Christmas however he wanted to use his own money to buy it as he had received a number of model planes for his birthday).

Extremely poor experience with this…

Extremely poor experience with this business.

Having previously had an issue with an order last year that is still unresolved, against my better judgement, I placed an order with them again, trusting in humanity and hoping my previous order was one off.

It's now been over a week and I have and Zero replies to my emails/facebook messages I have sent requesting an update when my order will be shipped.
I have raised a claim with Paypal for a refund.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, TAKES YOUR MONEY DOESN'T DELIVER GOODS.
