Worst airline I ever seen in my entire life

Please please avoid this airline I travel round the world more then 36 countries. The worst flight I ever been. From Staf to timing and very old airplane. I prefer to drive 24 hours to my destination but never use this airline. Our flight was meant to be 5pm then changed to 10pm then we flight at 12pm .

Incredible

Honestly, one of the best airlines to go from Europe to erbil because its direct unlike the other airlines that give you a connecting flight aswell. The crew were friendly and were helpful, and even served us tea and water for free. The only downside is that it was delayed for 40 minutes.

This is not an airline

This is not an airline; it is a criminal operation run by bullies.

​My recent experience with FlyErbil (FlyEBL) was the most degrading, vile, and illegal encounter I have ever had in my life. We were not treated as passengers; we were treated as victims.

​1. ABUSE OF DISABLED PASSENGERS (VIOLATION OF UK LAW)

My wife is on crutches. I have spinal injuries. Instead of assistance, the check-in staff (specifically a short woman with curly black hair and her male colleague) openly laughed in our faces. They mocked our physical conditions, shared my private screen data with other staff to turn our distress into entertainment, and created a hostile environment. This is a direct violation of the Equality Act 2010. You didn't just fail at service; you violated our civil rights.

​2. THEFT & EXTORTION

They scammed us on baggage weight. They charged us an extortionate fee for 'excess weight' and then forced us to throw the items away anyway. They took our money and refused the service. That is FRAUD.

To make it worse, the staff confiscated our food and cleaners admitted they take it for themselves. That is not policy; that is THEFT. You are thieves in uniform.

​3. THREATS & COERCION

When we dared to question this abuse, they didn't call a manager; they threatened to call Immigration and Security on us. Using state authorities to threaten paying customers into silence is an illegal, aggressive commercial practice.

​TO THE PUBLIC: DO NOT FLY WITH THEM. They will target you, scam you, and humiliate you if you show any vulnerability.

​TO FLYERBIL MANAGEMENT: This is not over. I have filed formal reports with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Police for the theft. I have initiated a chargeback for the fraud. I will not stop until this station is investigated and these specific agents are fired.

Walk instead

If I could give them no stars I would.

Honestly, the worst travel experience I have ever had. And I was a child refugee who walked across 3 countries in the winter.

We fly today from Erbil to London. We encountered the most disrespectful and arrogant group of people I have ever met. Firstly we were 1 kg over each suitcase. The staff told us 1 kg is fine. But then they said it counts as a total. Mind you all our tickets were purchased separately so I do not know why they were totalling the kg.

After this, the Kurdish girl with the curly hair (and the most disgusting look on her face) comes to shout at my old and disabled mum. She then lies to the manager in the white hair and says we were shouting even though all the other passengers were on our side.

On top of all of this. After making us put the suitcases on scales they made my disabled mum take them off even though for ALL the other passengers they took them off themself. Mind you, I couldn’t help my mum as I had just recently had surgery for my cancer. Which was explained to them all.

The rude, arrogant and uneducated curly haired girl stood there and laughed as my mum was crying in pain.

Please never ever use this airline. I literally recommend walking back to Erbil instead.

The biggest liars and scammers going!

The biggest liars and scammers going!! They made us throw away so many items as we were slightly overweight. They tried to charge us extortionate amount of money for excess weight (hundreds of dollars) Other people paid the charge and still their items were thrown away!! Liars and cheaters. It clearly said on our booking 23kg per person, yet at check in it was suddenly 20kg. Check in staff were very Rude who training and intelligence. They insult you and are extremely rude to paying customers. They even threatened to call the secret police on us. The simply wanted to take our belongings for themselves. I will never use them again and will also tell everyone I know to never use them. If I can give zero stars I would!

I flew with Fly Erbil from London…

I flew with Fly Erbil from London Gatwick on December 12, and this was genuinely the worst flight experience I have ever had.

There was no air conditioning on the plane, making the cabin unbearable. As a result, two passengers passed out and one passenger had a seizure. What was shocking is that the flight attendants did nothing — no urgency, no care, and no proper response to a serious medical situation.

I tried to record what was happening because passengers were clearly unwell. Almost immediately, cabin crew approached me in a very aggressive manner, demanding that I delete the video. One particular female flight attendant threatened me, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I explained I didn’t know the rule and deleted the video, yet the hostility continued.

Later in the flight, I went to use the toilet at the other end of the plane. While waiting, the same flight attendant pushed my mother and shouted at her to return to her seat, saying she was not allowed to wait there. This behaviour was completely unacceptable and disrespectful.

The attitude, manners, and professionalism of the flight crew were terrible. There was no empathy, no respect, and no basic customer care. Their behaviour made an already awful situation much worse.

I paid £725 for this ticket and was left feeling hurt, threatened, and uncomfortable. This experience honestly made me never want to fly again.

Fly Erbil needs to seriously fix their service and staff or reconsider operating altogether. I strongly advise others to avoid this airline.

There was this Kurdish “manager” a short girl with a pink shirt who we called to help assist us during check-in as we had a little miscommunication and instead of being a manager and helping us for our long trip back to Australia she targeted me and our family and made sure we had a bad experience, I fly in out and from Erbil and won’t be back with this airline cause of said “manager” and the poor worker who understood nothing about customer service, they all seemed rude and disrespectful to us, very stressful experience

There were two things below standard of…

There were two things below standard of any long flight. Our flight was at 17:50 but the takeoff was delayed about 40min. This is not unusual but there were no announcement or apology for the delay. Second most annoying issue was that airline states there will be a meal but what we had were two pathetic sandwiches beyond any standard of quality. Flying in the early evening on a long flight without a decent meal in my book is not acceptable. Otherwise the crew both at the desk and on the flight were friendly and helpful.

Never again with FlyAirbill

Never again with FlyAirbill! Today is 27.07.2025 The staff member at the check-in counter, in hannover a man Surani, was extremely disrespectful. We were harassed over just 800 grams of excess baggage per suitcase. There were five of us, and we had to remove a total of 4 kilos from our luggage – this was pure harassment. I would never recommend this airline!

Nie wieder mit FlyAirbill! Der Mitarbeiter am Check-in-Schalter,hannover ein Surani, war extrem respektlos. Wir wurden wegen nur 800 Gramm Übergepäck pro Koffer schikaniert. Wir waren zu fünft und mussten insgesamt 4 Kilo aus unserem Gepäck entfernen – das war reine Schikane. Diese Fluggesellschaft ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

لن أسافر مع شركة فلاي إيربيل مرة أخرى! كان الموظف عند مكتب تسجيل الدخول (سوراني) غير محترم للغاية. قاموا بمضايقتنا بسبب 800 غرام فقط زيادة في كل حقيبة. كنا خمسة أشخاص واضطررنا لإخراج 4 كيلوغرامات من أمتعتنا – كان ذلك مضايقة واضحة. لا أنصح بهذه شركة الطيران أبداً!

I have booked a ticket from this air will airline I suppose to fly 1740 they've been told me the fly will be delayed for hours after four hours they say they're gonna fly into our time and after that they say they're gonna fly another two and a half hour time nobody know half any idea how long will it take to flight please please I will ask anybody who live around the Europe do not fly with the fly air bills or do not fly to airbil as well thank you

Absolute Worst Airline Experience

Absolute Worst Airline Experience! AVOID [Fly Erbil
] AT ALL COSTS.

This was, without a doubt, the worst travel experience I have ever had. I'm writing this review to warn others so they don't have to go through the same headache and disrespect that I did.

Constant Delays: Our flights were consistently and significantly delayed with zero proper communication or explanation from the staff. They have no respect for their passengers' time.
Non-Existent Customer Service: When we tried to contact them for information or to file a complaint, it was impossible. They do not answer their phones or reply to emails. Their customer service is completely non-existent.
Refusal to Refund: After all the delays and issues, we requested a refund, which they have still not processed. They make promises but fail to deliver, essentially stealing our money.
In short, this company has zero respect for its customers, their time, or their money. Please, save yourself the stress and financial loss by choosing any other airline. Do not use Fly erbil

Erbil Airline Review

Unfortunately, my experience with this airline was far from positive. The flight did not depart on time, which caused a lot of frustration. The cabin environment was worn and unhygienic – the plane was dirty, including the seats and toilets, which did not feel safe or fresh.

The food served was of low quality and was also cold. It was perceived as substandard and below all criticism. There was also no clear difference between VIP and economy class – both the comfort and service were equally lacking. The seats were very uncomfortable and hard, which made the flight even more tiring.

The staff were perceived as unengaged and lacking a service mindset – something that is fundamental in an industry where customer service is key. It felt like you were not seen or well taken care of.

The aircraft was a much older model, reportedly from the 70s. It is worrying that some countries do not approve these aircraft because they do not meet current safety requirements and standards.

The only positive thing I can mention is that the pilots gave a professional impression and seemed competent.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this airline. After this trip, I will not choose them again. For a much better experience, I recommend companies like Qatar Airways or Pegasus, where both comfort and service are of a much higher standard.

Terrible service

Don't book tickets from their official website.
You can't change your ticket anymore. You have to send someone in Erbil to make them change the ticket.
65$ is also the price of directly changing a flight.
