Deceptive pricing and terrible customer service
I tried to book an international flight for my family with Flight Trotters today and I cannot believe how deceitful this company is. They had the lowest prices for the flight and itenerary I was intending to book, so I went with them thinking it was a good deal.
As soon as I put in my details and booked, I immediately got a webpage saying there was a problem and I need to call them back. Upon contacting them, the representative told me that the reason it did not go through was because I booked so-called special ‘restricted tickets’ meaning I could not add baggage and carry on allowances to my flight later. The specifics and restrictions around baggage allowances was never stated during the booking process. I was first quoted an additional £200 or so to add the luggage allowance, just to find out the quote was for a completely different arrival airport. After I corrected them, they then quoted an around £500 or so on top of my initial booking price to add a luggage allowance, and pressured to buy quickly because there were only a few seats left (the exact amount of seats I booked by the way). When I refused to purchase the tickets due to their shady selling tactics and pressure selling, I was then charged a cancellation fee of £25 per passenger that has now left me out of pocket.
I have never experienced a more appalling and deceptive travel agency in my life and I can only tell people to stay away of their false prices and unclear policies.

Fraudsters
Fraudsters. Avoid. Read the 1-star reviews, not the dubious 5-stars (it is telling that there are very few in between) and look at customer experiences described on travel and flight forums. They will advertise low prices that they cannot in fact deliver, and trick you into paying upfront for flights at a price well below what you will actually have to pay, and make cancellation/refund expensive or impossible.

Total scam, wish people check the 1* review rather and 5*
Total scam. I hope people see this review before they put their card details on website. Their website said 2 Baggage included. But they told us that it would be 300 for 2 Baggage as an extra. Also what u saw on their websites are not live price, they just use some algorithm to show the price lower than actual website price and even when u buy it, it is not direct. Their staff will buy for you from the airline website. Total scam !!! There is no transparency and lie outright. If you want to cancel, it's 50 pound haha. Man, this is not how u do business

Don’t deliver on price shown
I booked a flight this morning and had a confirmation email with the price. I then proceeded to book hotels and other activities around these flights only to be messaged by the company and then called to say I needed to pay another 1,000 for the same flight making my booking not achievable as well as charges with my other bookings I made. The companies customer service was terrible following this saying that I should change my flight to a completely different day and was completely dismissive of my wasted time and booking and was not willing to honour the price proceeded with . Very disappointing and won’t be using again . Don’t use this third party supplier

SCAM! BEWARE! Booked flight to MNL. Received email saying confirmation will follow. Called Reservations and was told they had sold out seats at that price. He did this without asking the booking/flight details!!! Hmm...! Accused them of scamming me and they put the phone down immediately!

TOTAL SCAM!! Booked and purchased online tickets, received an order acknowledgment and waited for 2 days for an E-ticket confirmation. Called several times and they kept giving me different stories. I was SO FUSTRATED as this wasn't going anywhere. In the end I had to call my card company to get my money back! Do not BUY FROM FLIGHT TROTTERS! EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS AND LIARS!!

SCAM
Booked on line to fly from Edinburgh to Istanbul and made payment by credit card. Once I had paid Flight Trotters said that the flight tickets had not been approved yet and I would have to pay another £150 taxes straight away to obtain them or wait until I arrived in Istanbul and have to pay £250.
TOTAL SCAM
I asked to cancel and get a refund (within one hour of making the booking) as there was no mention of any additional taxes at any point during the booking process. I was told that I had to pay a £50 cancellation fee.
Very unhelpful company that is looking to scam you!!

You book your flight with them then they tell you that the flight has gone up in price.
I booked two flights at the same time for myself and my partner next day I was informed that my flight was ok but my partners flight had gone up even though the two flight seats were booked together, when I said I wanted to cancel the booking I was told that there would be a charge for cancellation very rude customer services
Be warned they pull lots of scams like this and also on luggage
