Avoid GoToGate – Zero Accountability & Total Booking Mess - STAY AWAY!
Booked a multi-leg trip through GoToGate, thinking a travel agency would help coordinate everything. Instead, they split the trip into four separate reservations, used a proxy email with one of the airlines (not mine), so I never received any correspondence with check-in details from Wizz Air. GoToGate refused the responsibility when I was charged €47 at the airport, claiming I should have done it online to avoid being charged (I still wonder how if I didn't get appropriate flight info to be able to log in online, which I tried!!!).
GoToGate also charged me for seats and baggage, but I still had to pay an additional €10.50 for Wizz Air seat fee and €26.99 Ryanair baggage fee. Still, GoToGate claims I had never paid for WizzAir seat, despite providing proof of payment, while claiming they paid Ryanair, and I should chase it myself. No support, no ownership, just deflection.
GoToGate takes your money, adds no value, and walks away when something goes wrong. You will end up paying much more down the line, so book directly with the airlines—this agency is not worth the risk, your time and your money!

Stay Away from GoToGate – Worst Travel Experience
I booked a flight through GoToGate, and when I showed up at the airport, my name wasn’t on the check-in list. The airline had no record of my reservation, and I was denied boarding. I missed my flight, lost my money, and never received a refund.
Their customer service was completely useless—no help, no explanation, no accountability. Just silence.
GoToGate is a scam. They take your money and disappear. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Avoid this company at all costs.

We had the worst experience ever with this agency, we booked a flight to Dubai back in October 2024, we had some issues that we needed to cancel it. I called them asking about my options, someone his name is Victor told me if you upgrade your ticket paying £75/person, your ticket will be eligible to be cancelled for a refund. We agreed and transferred the money, we are in April 2025, we neither got our refund nor the upgrade fees back! They scam you to take your money.. Victor used to ignore my calls, and if i call from different number, he answrs! My husband asked to pay the £300 upgrade fees of 4 people, that he took at least, he used to always say today or tomorrow, next week and so on!
You better pay a little extra for another trusted people.
