Find another merchant service!

Our experience with Flagship Merchant Services has been a nightmare. We utilized their processing services for only one month in 2021 and contacted them to cancel immediately thereafter. Despite this, they continued to withdraw monthly service fees—without providing any services—and these fees increased over time. Over the past four years, approximately $12,000 has been taken from our account for no services in return. We NEVER received a phone call from them about this issue. There are serious deficiencies in their billing practices. They will steal your money and do not care about customer service. You should let this ship sail.

A HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE 'CODE OF PRACTICE'

In complete honesty if I had the choice to offer NO RED STARS, I would have preferred to.

I have to say that NOBODY could EVER be so unfortunate enough to even encounter a "business" like Flagship Merchant Services AND as a result I am currently having our Lawyers prepare a case so we can walk them into a Court of Law to recover the ongoing losses and damages we have suffered over the last 5 years.

While the poor people that work on their helplines cannot be faulted, it is the higher level of Management that are responsible for the way the company is operated. Disgraceful is the most appropriate description I can use.

I run an online education business and have been trying escape from Flagship for over 2+ years after I discovered a number of their very questionable practices (HOWEVER they seem to keep their customers by virtually imprisoning them).

1: One - if the two of worst issues I encountered has been their overcharging. When I contacted them by phone about the matter, I was informed that "the reason we the customer, are paying so much each month" was because "Flagship do not offer or broadcast to their customers reduced prices" instead they only consider it 'AFTER the customer contacts them and asks for cheaper prices". When I questioned them about this 'policy' I was told it was our fault because"we had never asked for a reduction in prices"??!!??

SORRY, BUT THAT IS A COMPLETE JOKE.

2: If that wasn't bad enough, I have been fighting with them to change the Bank our funds were being sent to. YES ... for over TWO YEARS NOW. Each time I followed all their directions and repeatedly provided all of our new banks details, nothing happened. Finally I was put through to an individual (whose name I will not mention here because we are saving that for the Court Hearings) who messaged me from an Eastern European country, and who told me that the U.S. Bank we have been using for over 10 years "was unsatisfactory" because they were (as he described it) a 'non-self-funding Bank'. Can anyone explain exactly what a "non-self-funding Bank" is?

PLEASE NOTE we had already been forced to close down our Chase Bank account, and so we have now not received a single cent from Flagship for more than 2 YEARS because they did not find our new Bank acceptable to them? "

When has a Merchant Card Services Provider EVER had the right to dictate to a customer which bank they wanted them to use"?

3: While I have now not been able to access our funds for over 2 YEARS, I have been able to access our monthly Flagship monthly statements ..... and over the last 18 months WE ARE NOW PAYING OUT MORE IN FLAGSHIP MONTHLY CHARGES COSTS, than we are receiving from our paying customers.

Hence the need for us now to take this into the Court Room ... and hopefully it will be a Class Action Case. ....because while Flagships people on the help Lines are great, Management of ANY FORM are impossible to contact. It is disgraceful.

4: In closing, I have to point out that we were one of many thousands of companies caught up in the recent PAYSAFE MERCHANT CARD SCANDAL where the Judge authorised a record Penalty Payment to be made of $5.4 BILLION DOLLARS ..... the largest settlement of it's kind in history. It was no surprise to discover that PaySafe on their website states .... "Flagship Merchant Services has been one of the most profitable referral programs in the merchant service industry".

I would invite anyone else - or any other company - that has experienced similar problems with Flagship, to connect with me on FaceBook (Nicholas Tee - my profile shows a darkened picture of me holding a guitar). A Class Action Case is one where a prosecution can represent all victims and the Lawyers take a percentage of any recovered funds ordered by the Court.

(I'm hoping that because I have used TrustPilot in a professionally appropriate and respectful manner in the past that they will approve this post)

Cancelled my account in April but they…

Cancelled my account in April but they continue to charge me outrageous charges! I've been trying to cancel and my last charge from them is $290 in one month with no service from them! Included extra fees for NOT using their services!! They said I need to fill out cancellation paperwork but I never receive it. Don't waste your time or money. What a scam.

DON’T USE THEM IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY

If I can give minus I would, easy to setup, risk review after the approval, if they think your business is associated with any type of prohibited activity they do close your account immediately they use public information it doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. They WILL close your account immediately without any discussion, and hold your money for 180 days. They WILL reject all the transactions as soon as they decided to close your account without info you, and it doesn’t matter if your business still taking the payment or not. As for my experience I have lost total $685 on last day of the transactions, I have been told multiple times from the customer service said that they rejected all the transactions on the last day, there is no way they can provide me any bank information so I have to recollect the payments from the customers, which it made impossible. DON’T USE THIS company, I hope they get shut down immediately.

They didn't know my system and lied to get me to sign up

When I contacted this company I told them who I use for my software to see if they integrate. The sales lady Rebecca wasn't sure and asked a colleague who said it did. I was concerned about switching over because I have memberships and can't afford to lose the cards on file. She said a tech person will be in touch to set everything up and make sure it transitions smoothly. After a week of emails and calls I was approved and got a call from a girl who said the process was only about 10 minutes and had no clue what I was talking about with integating and she kept putting me on hold to go ask someone...4 different times...I told her I had to get back to work and was going to contact my sales rep...no response from her or anything. So they took all my information, wasted a week of mine and left me without any answers. Don't use them if you have a softw6system...they won't be able to help you!

Stay away from this "service"

To simply describe this service in 3 words, it is extremely DECEVING, UNETHICAL AND DISHONEST. Stay away from this scammers!! So far this has been the most unpleasant experience dealing with a "service" like this.

Brendan Bullock was my account rep and he GUARANTEED that I was only going to pay 9.85 a month but when I get the statement I get charged 21.80 just in undisclosed fees plus the 9.85. I spoke to Brendan about it and he PROMISED to process a refund for 21.80 four weeks ago and I am still waiting.

He stopped answering emails and calls and all his collogues I spoke to would lie about the refund and also say it is processing. Until this day I have not heard from Brendan or the so called "supervisor" that was supposedly going to call me about this issue.

A company like this should not be in business with such a poor delivery of services

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. A client paid me 2 weeks ago online, because it was a big purchase they being Flagship Risk Department decided to hold it & not contact me. After 8 days I contacted them they are cold & couldn't care less, I asked them why no one contacted me within the 2 days if they thought the funds was sketchy, and why they didn't email me, there reason is because they were busy?!! After I sent them them proof of the funds, being transaction ID number Cody sends me an email saying he was calling the cardholders.. being my client to see if she sent these funds. All of this is very embarrassing for me, my business & my client. From the beginning Flagship didn't want to work with me. As a Black women who has her own successful business, they should have been happy to welcome business from people serious and passionate about there work as i am. I regret using flagship & they have not released my funds as soon as they do, I will be finding a new merchant. They don’t deserve my business. I do not recommend this business at all. There still holding my funds from me, even when Authorize.Net secured it through. If Flagship Risk Dept cares this much to hold people's money for no reason without stating there reasons, they should do there job & actually reach out to there customers immediately when they spot issue. I only signed with them because there interest rates are low, but they lack intelligence. Cody literally told me that they don't do business with people paying for gift receipts online and he's never heard of gift receipts online?!! I was dumbfounded because its like any transaction, in any store, i just named them gift certificates for family that wants to buy a surprise for family and friends. The worst is when I was upset that they were holding my funds already for a week and no one reached out to me, no one apologized, they didn't care. Never have I experienced such horrible low professionalism. It’s all Completely unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint with this company.

I need Merchant service

I need Merchant service, I searched and find that Flagship, was Ideal for my online business. L called on of their sales Representative, and he fill my application on the phone, and email me my application to sign it all that tacks 15 minutes. 48 hours later I was up and running, I place a real order, and get through. That is great service and perfection.

Extremely dishonest.

My small business used this company for our credit card processing for years. I found through many transactions and phone conversations with there staff that they are extremely dishonest! In other words they would say one thing and do another for there own benefit. They do not care about the customer, they want your money and will squeeze as much as they can out of you. I switched to square and never looked back!

Cheated

They have hidden charges and add you and charge you for a website that does nothing. they are basically scam artists, I have been with them for years and regret it, just see all the negative reviews... they keep charging you even after you cancel and make excuses why the cancellation never was processed. They have given me great anxiety as they continue to bill me, I have to call bank monday and put a block on them even though I have used them for months they keep hacking my bank and billing me. this has been a nightmare.... run from this company.
