I placed a parts order in December

I placed a parts order in December. One full month later - no part. I checked its status and showed nothing new except it was back ordered. I tried calling three times during business hours and just got an answering machine with the only order update being the original notice from a month ago that it was typically expected to ship within 10 to 15 days. After trying three times to get a real person (“call volume is higher than expected and we have nobody available to serve you . Good bye.” I then cancelled my order and bought the part elsewhere. Hopefully I’ll get my full refund, as they promptly took my money over a month ago.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. We’re truly sorry for the experience you had with your order and the difficulty reaching us. Waiting a full month without updates, discovering the part was backordered only after checking yourself, and then being unable to connect with a live representative is not the level of service we aim to provide.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to try multiple times during business hours and only reach an automated message, especially while still waiting for a part that was expected to ship much sooner. We also recognize the added frustration of needing to cancel the order and purchase the part elsewhere after such a long delay.
Your refund should process normally once an order is cancelled, and we’re committed to making sure that happens smoothly. We appreciate you bringing this situation to our attention, and we’ll be reviewing what went wrong with both our communication and our phone availability so we can prevent this from happening again.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Poor packaging destroyed part

The part arrived in a box overstuffed with bubble wrap. The flat plate part was wrapped in too much bubble wrap, and was forced into the box, bending the part. I would expect an online parts retailer would know about how to properly pack and ship a package. I requested return for replacement. I got a refund after 4 weeks, but no return, no replacement. I ended up re-ordering the part elsewhere.
I do not recommend fix.com

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We’re truly sorry to hear about the condition in which your part arrived and the frustration that followed. Packaging a flat plate part in a way that prevents bending is something we should have handled correctly, and we understand how disappointing it is to receive a damaged item due to improper packing.
We’re also sorry for the delay with your refund and for the inconvenience caused by not receiving the replacement you expected. That experience falls short of the standard we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we can address it internally.
For future reference, our full return policy, including how returns, replacements, and refunds are processed, can be found here:
https://www.fix.com/return-policy/
We value your feedback, and we’ll be using it to improve how we package parts and manage return requests moving forward.

I've been looking for a replacement…

I've been looking for a replacement carafe for our Café coffee maker and spent over $100 with fix.com, as it said they had one in stock. A few weeks go by, and it never came. When I checked in on the order, it said it was on back order with no word from the company. Okay, fine, I can wait a little longer.

2 months later, I still have not received it, and still not a single word from them about when it might arrive. I finally just cancelled the order, and I see the item isn't even listed on their website anymore. Can't wait to see how long it takes to get my money back.

0/0 stars, do not recommend.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share what happened. We’re really sorry you went through such a long wait with no updates, that’s incredibly frustrating, and we understand why you’d feel disappointed after spending so much time and money with nothing to show for it.
When it comes to replacement parts like the Café coffee maker carafe, we’re always at the mercy of the manufacturer’s availability. If the manufacturer discontinues an item or suddenly stops supplying it, we unfortunately have no control over that, and it can create situations where an item shows as available but later becomes impossible to source. That’s never the experience we want anyone to have.
We truly appreciate you letting us know what happened, and we’ll use this feedback to continue improving how we communicate around backorders and discontinued items. If there’s anything we can clarify about compatible parts or availability moving forward, we’re here to help.

Fast, Reliable Service with Excellent Support

Ordering from Fix.com was a great experience! The website was easy to navigate, and I quickly found the exact replacement part I needed for my appliance. The pricing was fair, and the shipping was impressively fast. What really stood out was the detailed how-to guides and videos they provided — they made installation so easy! Customer service was also very responsive when I had a question. Overall, the process was smooth, and I’d absolutely use them again.

Not provided all information needed...

We ordered a new control panel for our GE dishwasher. After watching several YouTube videos my husband took apart the door for installation. Several of the videos stated that the pins had to be set in the proper order for your appliance number. They stated there should be a sheet with the jumper settings table included. There was nothing except the part in the box we received. My husband called the company, and the girl stated the board was configured so it should just be put it in, and it should be good to go. He installed as is and it did not work. He again disassembled the door and pulled out the panel. After calls to the company and GE with no success, I Googled the information and was finally able to find it. Once we set the pins according to that diagram and reinstalled it worked.
This sheet with the jumper settings table should have been included. While I am very happy my husband was able to make the repair, it was a lot of extra monkeying around that could have been avoided.
My question is, how many other people have installed this part as is with no results? Had we not explored this further we were going to replace the dishwasher which would have been costly.

Part didn't work

A small metal latch on my dryer door broke, so naturally I had to replace the entire door. I ordered the door that the website suggested for my dryer, but it doesn't work. When I called, they said they couldn't pay return shipping, and they also couldn't give me refund authorization until "later". The dryer door is frigging enormous and it came in a box that is 8 square feet 2x2x2 with a lot of padding to protect the glass.
Just now I get an email saying that I have to hold onto the dryer door for 30 days while the warehouse conducts an "investigation" after which I may be able to discard the door or I may be able to get a prepaid shipping label. But this is a huge thing! I've been tripping over the package material and the collapsed larger box literally all day long. I can put it in the basement at least now, but I'm in trouble if I have to repack into a 2x2x2 box and somehow ship that.

Company is clueless

Ordered a part that never arrived even after many emails assuring me it would soon to ship and delays beyond their control at the manufacturer. They shouldn't charge you until the item ships. I called to see when I might receive the part but the representative couldn't answer even simple questions and was clueless. I'll never even consider doing business with this company ever again.

Poison Work Environment.

Poison work environment. Having worked for far better companies than this I was ready to take absolutely no nonsense. The training and HR were great. The actual job had the worst petty lying management I have ever seen. Thank goodness I was smart enough to record everything and catch my useless toxic manager in several lies. If you want to work in a call center born right out of a 1996 sweat shop, have at er! The reason customer service is so bad is because it's not cost effective for their garbage stats to actually help the customer. If you get a good one, you must have a new one. The most unwelcoming garbage place to work. A year later and I have a deep seeded hatred of that place. I quit and I'm glad I quit and I hope they burn in hell. Lying sacks of garbage.

I had a good expreince despite bad reviews

I saw a number of bad reviews, so I was wary. But they were the only one that had the part to my chop saw for anything like a reasonable price. So I took a chance. The part arrived quickly, in 4 days after my order. The part fit and works well. So for me at least it was a pleasant experience.

AVOID FIX.COM

I ordered a glass shield for a propane heater. It was damaged in transit and never delivered. Multiple calls and emails to fix.com were ignored. Refund request or replacement completely ignored. As far as I am concerned they are thieves.

Charge for Unfulfilled Order

I placed an order over a month ago and my credit card was charged on the day I placed the order. I have not received any status updates since then. I emailed their customer service a week ago and received no response. I called their customer service phone number, but there are never any representatives available to take a call.

WISH I WOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS

Ordered wrong part called to return and was told if I ordered the right part from them, then they would pay for return shipping and send label. Manufacturer had part for cheaper, but not in stock. Again, I called and
was told if I purchase the right part from them they would pay return. I ordered part, then label was sent and it was not prepaid! I called again, but this time I was told their policy was because I purchased it myself no free return. The part was $17 and return shipping is $36. Horrible, lying customer service.
