These are the WORST

These are the WORST sunglasses I’ve ever had. Slips off my regular frames constantly so I might was well have nothing and a lens fell out the third time I wore them. Unfortunately, I bought these in an eyeglass/sunglassshop in Cape Cod last week while vacationing/passing through and didn’t get a receipt. Otherwise I would return this awful purchase.
Save your money. NOT worth the STEEP price.

Frustrating Order Experience

My optometrist told me about fitovers as a more affordable alternative to purchasing prescription sunglasses, and recommended Jonathan Paul Fitovers. Placed an online order 2/7/23 on fitover.com. Called 2/13/23 to get a status and could not believe the frustrating experience I had with the rep in locating the order. Provided the rep with the online order number printed on the purchase order and was first told he couldn't find it. Then he tells me items that were under that order # which I clearly didn't order. This is their system and they cannot locate an order. He asks me if I was calling from an optometrist's office, because usually optometrists place orders. I replied then how is it there is a website for regular customers to order from. He was able to locate my order via my name. Said they were hilcovision and it came across as they only manage orders from optometrists. No matter, RIDICULOUS! If hilcovision is processing orders from this website, then they should've had the info in their database. This was a sign to cancel my order.

Bought a pair of Jonathan Paul fitovers…

Bought a pair of Jonathan Paul fitovers from local optometrist. Price was on the high side but I didn’t mind as they suited my purpose. The frame near the left hinge broke soon after. I can see now that the plastic is very thin in this area; I believe this is a design flaw. I have also noticed other reviewers have had this issue and state that they think the plastic is of inferior quality. I have taken them back to the shop, who have sent a photo to the suppliers for evaluation. Lets see how they respond
UPDATE
The suppliers have sent a brand new pair in exchange for the old. Happy outcome.

Lenses degrade badly though stored properly and not mishandled.

Initially I was happy with the two pairs I bought, but having stored them inside safely over winter I was dismayed when I took them out of the cases to find that both pairs were unusable. One pair had a crazing on one lens. The other pair looked like the lenses had melted or glue had run all around the lenses edge. Then this pair developed a mark on one lens after only using them for two days!. The frames are in perfect condition. But the lenses have deteriorated badly. Unusable. Won't be buying them again. No reply from customer service about replacement lenses either.

Do NOT recommend. Horrible experience.

Okay, so I purchased three sunglasses in 2020. First off, the pictures of the glasses on the website are deceiving. They are much darker in real life-can’t see the design at all. So on my order I received a 10% discount on my entire order. When I received the three glasses, there was one pair I really didn’t like. I decided to return those ones. I had paid $39.95 (+10%discount) for this pair. It took months to receive my refund and I had to remind them multiple times. Then they only refunded $17 to my account. I called and they said I only paid $19.95 for these glasses. I had proof that I paid the $39.95. So they conveniently changed my receipt on their end to reflect that I paid less than what I actually had. I had to fight and send photos to show that I paid $39.95. Next, they tried to apply my entire 10% discount I received on my order specifically to this pair of glasses. So I would lose that discount on the other two pairs I purchased as well. I had to fight to get the correct amount of money back for the pair I returned. Absolutely ridiculous! Horrible customer service! Oh, and these glasses scratch very easily or if you drop them, the lenses fall out easily. I won’t be purchasing from this company again. Horrible experience.

Bad post sale customer support

Bad post sale customer support. I had one pair of JP Fitovers that have lasted few years. Recently bought another pair - Euroka - that broke after two months. The plastic of the right temple at the hinge snapped. Nobody will stand behind the product - neither the merchant that sold them nor Jonathan Paul company. I bought them from Sports by Sager on Ebay who make out to be an authorized seller of this brand. They won't stand behind the product. I contacted Jonathan Paul US - jpeyewear.com which takes you to fitovers.com. They won't stand behind the product either. I am out $70. Caveat Emptor.

Wonderful customer service!

I have worn Johnathan Paul fit overs for many years. I recently updated glasses to a unique size. I was having difficulty finding a style that would work with my glasses. Donna S was very helpful and kind in assisting me. The pair she recommended is working great with my glasses

Great sunglasses!

These were purchased primarily to wear over my regular glasses when on long bicycle rides. They are light and fit well. The included strap with the cinch is a big bonus because I need to be able to secure the glasses to my head when I'm riding the bike.

Great Sunglasses!

I bought my dad a pair many years ago and he wore them every day until they finally broke. I now bought him his second pair and loves them just as much!

Great Bargain!

I was nervous about buying these fit overs I wasn't sure that for the price they would be very nice. They are terrific! I really like them and they completely cover my own glasses. Several of my friends have indicated that they too will check out Fitovers. The polarized glass is very clear. The design looks modern and sleek. This is a real bargain, now I don't have to buy a pair of prescription sunglasses!
