Purchased an item Echelon Machine which was 600$ expensive then market - Charged extra 100$ for installation, driver came and said the company didn't pay me for installation and left - When I called the customer service the lady on call was so arrogant and rude - and bluntly refused saying she cannot do anything about it and figure out on your own.

Customer service so ineffective it's comical
Bought a bike during the pandemic and a year later it started making noise and eating the serpentine belt. On inspection, the front pulley attached to the flywheel had a bent outer flange.
Basically, whoever assembled the bike either dropped it on a hard surface or gave it full ugga uggas with a hammer or some other tool.
I contacted Fitness Depot about a replacement part and it was/is one of the most fruitless and aggravating exchanges I've had with a customer service rep.
I specifically asked how to get a replacement part and kept getting terse, short replies listing parts I didn't ask for or asking for information I had already sent.
I attached photos, a video, and a link to the video. The files couldn't be read on their end. Thinking I may have used an odd format, I sent the video and link to others. The only recipient who had an issue was Fitness Depot.
The rep eventually replied with several attached photos of how to fix the problem as per their tech. The photos were confusing with some completely out of focus and appeared to address an issue other than the one I had described several times. No explanation accompanied them.
After more than a week of going back and forth, I have given up. The rep either has a reading comprehension issue or is deliberately messing with me.
Fitness Depot sucks. I should have just purchased a bike from Amazon or Costco.

I purchases a Treadmill matt and a massage roller, $50 each from Yonge and Steels store, then found the same in Walmart, matt for $25, and roller for $23, Sales are final so can not return :(, check other places before going to this store
Never stated ALL SALES FINAL!!!!
Absolutely appalled that I purchased a spin bike (just over $1000) and needed to return it about one week later. It was only then we saw ALL SALES FINAL in the invoice. This was never mentioned. When I called the Mississauga Fitness Depot where it was purchased, the guy agreed they do not state this but “it’s posted in the store” Where? I have no idea. On a purchase like this…I think it needs to be said as most places allow returns unless it’s underwear, clearance or swimsuits. But this?!??
So angry. I emailed corporate and got the response they weren’t set up to resell used equipment.
I would NOT PURCHASE from this store for not being transparent about their no return policy. Purchase elsewhere, people!!!!
Discrimination against employees human rights..
This place is discriminating and bullying their own employees into taking the experimental vax,They recently fired numerous employees..This place and the management are a joke and do not deserve a penny of our money. We will take our buisiness ELSEWHERE!I truly hope you go broke and homeless for what you are doing!

Horrible company, they treat people very badly, no integrity. Stay away!
Absolutely discusting!!
Absolutely discusting!!! Boycott everyone thats mandating vaccines on employees! Tyrannical behaviour will destroy your business!!! Nasty people. Are you gonna own the injuries and deaths you mandated? Do some research...OReg 364/20 section 2.1a states clearly you must have a vaccine policy!!! Not madatory vaccines. Youre participating in an evil agenda
They are now discriminating against…
They are now discriminating against their own employees with the vaccine. It is everyone's right to decide what goes into their body -not employers!!! This is not China or old Russia. Boycott them
Low Quality but High Price.
Everything they stock seems to be some of the worst junk you can get out of China. The Chinese can make some decent stuff but FD selects the worst and charges top dollar. You are better off buying on Kijiji.
Do not do business with this fascist…
Do not do business with this fascist company. They are forcing their workers to get vaccinated or they are fired! I think perhaps this company is run by the CCP not a company operating in a FREE society! These people must be stopped!
Fitness Depot goes on an unvaccinated firing spree
Fitness Depot goes on an unvaccinated firing spree. After Fitness Depot announced via email that they would no longer be hiring people unless they were fully vaccinated, one of their now-former warehouse managers at the Lillooet St, Vancouver location, Artusz Chilingaryan, replied expressing concerns about the rule being discriminatory and was fired along with his brother. At the Thornhill location
At the Thornhill location, the manager Jason would not allow me to return a defective item. The item was a bench and could not be assembled as it was missing parts, the frame was warped, and missing a foot. He coerced me into taking the floor model for full price. When I got the floor model I realized it was also defective as the back rest wobbled very badly. I told him many times I do not want the bench but he gave me no other option, besides taking a completely different bench that I did not want.
Throwing away money at Fitness Depot
So sick and tired of buying northern lights equipment that might as well go right into the garbage as soon as I get home. Todays leg extension will be THE LAST purchase I make after spending thousands there
Cold and aloof employees
Before writing a comment here, I read through all the other reviews. I was saddened to see that, overall, the reviews here mirror my own experience, which in my case involved the employee being systematically uninterested in providing the least assistance. I don't think he realized it. I don't know what it is--maybe continuous exposure to some sort of radioactive dust emanating from their products--but the people in the store (DDO, Montreal area) seem peculiarly cold and aloof, a bit like in the old Soviet Union, and allergic to anything having to do with customer service. It was appalling. I did not buy anything there as I was too disgusted... and puzzled. The last time I experienced this sort of thing was in Montreal West, at the old hardware store corner Sherbrooke and Westminster.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service! I bought something as a Christmas present in November. I tried to exchange it in January and was told that it couldn't be exchanged as it was already past there exchange policy. I asked what the exchange policy was and was told it was up to the managers discretion. The manager suggested that I should sell it on kijiji instead! Brutal customer service.

This business is untrustworthy and female staff very rude, called me a liar. Before purchasing equipment recommended by her I asked about return, said I could not get money back but make an exchange ( items were for Christmas). Brought back yesterday, refused exchange and said they never said that. I left the useless equipment at the store, truly my final sale
Drove 4-1/2 hours for nothing
I drove 4-1/2 hours to pick up a set of PowerBlocks EXP 5-50 dumbbells that I had arranged to pick-up at 11:00am Saturday morning. When I arrived to the store I was informed that they were sold because they thought was coming on Friday - even though our communications clearly indicated that I would be there as soon as the store opened on Saturday.
Tuesday, Jan. 5: I contacted Fitness Depot asking if they in fact had Power Blocks in stock, as their web site indicated that this was the case.
Wednesday, Jan.6: I had a timely response (good!) that they were out of stock, and that I would be best to try the Scarborough location in a few weeks.
Later that day, I received another email from Fitness Depot saying that they “have one set available it is being sold with the stand” (nice up-sell!).
I responded that I am interested, and that I would buy the stand as well.
I asked for their “Covid hours” on Saturday, and I had an immediate response “we are here 11-5 (which are their Saturday hours of operation), but it is a bit of a drive so let me know before hand”.
Thursday, Jan 7: I sent an email confirming that I would be at the store at 11:00am to pick up the dumbbells and stand.
I also said “if anything changes in the meantime please let me know so that I do not make the drive if the product is no longer available”.
I received a response back “OK Norm. Ask for “employee name”.
Saturday, Jan 9: 9:30am - While on route I called the store to confirm that I was on my way (I left a message on their answering machine as they did not open until 11:00am). I arrived to the store at 11:10am, and was told that the dumbbells were sold.
What part of the above communications would have had anyone believe that I was going to be there on Friday? I am totally disappointed in Fitness Depot. The least they could have done was to call me to say that the dumbbells were no longer available - and saved me the time and effort required to try and give them my business and my money. In the end, most of this is my fault - after all, I ignored all of the 1 star reviews.
Wish I could rate 0stars
I emailed the London location twice inquiring about the availability of an Olympic barbell with plates set, because there weren’t any online (assumed COVID related) and I was told in the “live chat” to contact the store directly for availability. They confirmed they had some. I was coming from Windsor (4hr round trip) so I called right before I left and once again they confirmed they had multiple sets. When I arrived the first thing they said when I asked was “no sets, just pairs.” Individual plates were $2.50/lb would never have driven that distance for that. I emailed costumer service and they were sarcastic, said I was confused and there was a miscommunication and laughed at my complaint. I was very clear in asking for a bar and plate set. Not single plates. What a joke.
