Mark came to fit a front and rear dash cam in my new car today. He was polite, courteous and charming. He was very thorough and careful and did a tremendous job. Once fitted, he took time to help me through downloading the dash cam app and explained exactly how it all worked. The fitting was neat, tidy, and I could not recommend Mark highly enough. Excellent experience.

Elliott removed my dashcam (which he supplied and installed a few years ago) one weekend and fitted it in my new vehicle the following weekend. He is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Elliott has fitted (and supplied) dashcams in 3 of my cars so far. Fantastic work, tidily done, and exceptionally thorough and detailed work in some complex vehicles. Includes great advice. He also transferred from an old car I sold into my new one. I’m very fussy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his work.
In our local area Facebook group I posted to find someone to remove my Blackvue dash cams with battery backup and external sim, and fit it in my new car. A lot of people recommended FMDC (Elliott), so I got him round. What Elliott does not know about car electronics, isn’t worth knowing. Just looking at the job he done on his own van you can see the standards he works to and his attention to detail. I am very picky and particular with who works on my cars, I like to be in the detail and watching Elliott work was an absolute pleasure, he really takes his time and was happy to talk me through everything he was doing. Nothing was too much trouble and after having a small issue post fitting, which was caused by me, Elliott was happy to come round immediately and help me put it right at no charge at all, despite me insisting he takes some money for his time. I have a few gems in my contacts list group and Elliott has definitely earned his place in that group for future work. Thank you Elliott!

The reply is totally irrelevant to the review, strange man talking about facebook when the review is about his lack of knowledge @fit my dash cam.

This chap decided to take offence to removal of a comment in a facebook group where he was being less than helpful and quite rude to another member. He then went on a tirade of abuse towards admins (I am one of them in my spare time) and I assume because of my name, found my personal business which is unrelated.
For the record, the post was regarding a totally unsafe installation in a campervan, which I had told the person in question about prior, as had many others in the group - in a polite manner.
The reviewer decided the appropriate responses were "absolute mess" and "nugget of wisdom 😂 just like you putting a gas bottle next to that monstrosity 🤣 good luck 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥"
So you can imagine why this was removed, as it was unkind and unhelpful.
This was then followed up by 3 separate (pending) posts with the content:
"Elliot, you need to give your head a shake. Messaged you."
"Admin get in touch and stop hiding"
"Rule number 3. Be safe 🤣🤣"
At this point, the posts were declined, and they were removed from the group by another Admin.
This is when I received a phone call on my business line, and he proceeded to berate me.
The phone call confirmed that he knew I had a business not related to the group, and he proceeded to say "you're a clown", "you deleted my comment didn't ya", "we'll start with your business", "you condone people putting their lives at risk", "what do you keep recording [the calls] for you sad little man", "you got rid of me" (I did not remove this person from the group, this was a separate administrator, but he pinned this on me nonetheless), "you're a danger to everybody".
When asked how I "put lives at risk" directly, they said "by not knowing about wiring" and "you don't have the knowledge" which is not true as is easily evidenced by my employment, past and present.
On a personal note, I don't stand for this.
This review is nothing than a personal attack because this person did not like to be told to treat people with respect.
Booked a dash cam installation with Fit My Dash Cam, and Elliott did an excellent job! The install is super neat and tidy, with all the wiring hidden perfectly. He was really helpful, chatty, and kept me informed throughout the process. Great communication from start to finish. I feel much safer parking my Mini JCW on the road now. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service, and attention to detail on par with my own standards. Great value for money and highly highly recommend. Elliott was engaging both on the phone when trying to arrange an appointment, and answered all the questions I had. On the day, extremely punctual which is great in my book, engaging on the install process and left me with every confidence in the delivery of the fit. Great guy to interact with too, genuinely nice which seems rare these days.
Products and knowledge are brilliant
Rude, starts replying to a few messages, then completely ignores you. Literally impossible to sort anything out when they stop replying to your messages.

We have never interacted through Fit My Dash Cam. You left a bad review on my day job (Roamer Batteries) for the reason that I personally removed a comment in a Facebook group I help run, because you were rude. Now you’re here.
This is defamation and harassment, and not linked to Fit My Dash Cam at all.
Elliott was great, exceptional service, knowledge, and professional. Could not wish for a better service. If your in the market for having a Dash Cam fitted, I would 100% recommend fit my Dash Cam.

Elliott, an obviously capable and personable man, arrived a little before the appointed time, fitted the cam, explained everything l needed to know and thanked me for the business, all within about two hours. Very refreshing in a time when reliable and pleasant service is by no means the norm.
