I was highly recommended to visit FitFor Physiotherapy following a knee arthroscopy for a couple of meniscus tears, and I’m so glad I did! Elizabeth was absolutely amazing—she provided excellent exercises to help rebuild the strength in my knee and gave me the confidence to move forward in my recovery. Her support, guidance, and encouragement made a huge difference. The service at FitFor is outstanding, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of rehabilitation. Thank you for such a great experience!

I want you to solve my problem

I want you to solve my problem. The amount of the next month has been deducted before the expiration date of the previous month comes. I have stopped my subscription. I will get the money back from the bank, but I want you to make sure that my contract has been terminated.

I'm trying so hard not to be offensive…

I'm trying so hard not to be offensive how can a big company like fit for free keep rob people money and nobody is doing anything about it, last three months they charged me double and I went to fit for not free in Zaandam talk to guy working there he told me that I'm one of the fish that they catched and he can't do anything about even if I cancel my contract they will still take that money for six months and last several hours I'm trying to cancel my contact but I just can't find the way fit for free is absolutely disgraceful

Would give zero stars for customer…

Would give zero stars for customer service.
I took over someone's contract and they mishandled both of our financial details. Original person was still paying for the contract 3 months later (I did not know this). I found out because the person whos contract I took over emailed me AND text me and also was given a copy of MY contract by FFF staff which had my phone number, full name, email address, and house address! All my personal details were given to a stranger by FF staff who then starts harassing me to PAY HIM because they clearly aren't compensating him for their mistake. So I had to go into the gym and ask someone to manually put my financial details in (for the 2nd time) - which they aren't allowed to do anymore because they are 'going all online'. I will say that the staff member who helped me in the gym was super helpful and not happy about my situation. But now I can't even find a phone number to call someone about this and get an answer as to what they will do. Honestly, I'm nervous about when it comes time to cancel my membership... I feel like leaving and going to a gym with actual staff.

Trapped in a contract and cannot reach customer service

Fit For Free automatically renewed my contract for an additional year with my consent. I cannot reach customer service. The phone number found online only plays a recording and then hangs up. I have tried to reach customer service before and it took over a month to get a reply. I need immediate action taken on this matter and feel no one is responding. I walked into a gym to address this in person but they were locked out of the system and were unable to assist me. This is truly unacceptable! Please help me fitforfree! I have moved out of the Netherlands and patiently waiting for my subscription to expire, just to find I was automatically renewed without my consent!!

14-day notice period is a scam

Even after canceling within their "14-day notice period" they will still charge you the full yearly sum. I have an email confirmation that my membership is terminated and their webportal tells me i have no contracts, still got charged over €160. As far as I'm aware there is no customer service department what so ever.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I was shocked to discover that my subscription wasn't automatically paused when we went into full lockdown. I'm still being charged even when I can't go to the gym. I've tried emailing about this, but I have received no answer. I know the Netherlands isn't known for its customer service, but Fit For Free is something else. I'm not surprised to read all the terrible reviews on this page.

This is the worst customer service I…

This is the worst customer service I ever had contact with. Useless and helpless, they ignore your question and don't even know what their own policy is. Instead of solving an easy query from my side they tell me to go myself to the gym to freeze my account, even though I have medical reasons and can't leave my house. They read your messages on Facebook and don't even respond. I asked them how an I supposed to go to the gym if I can't go out, which they just read and ignore every time! Their service is worthless!! A waste of my time and money! You will loose a lot of customers due to this ignorant service.

I don't even know where to start

I don't even know where to start. September 2020 I joined their gym for a 1-month trial.. no one informed me about the automatic payments made each month unless you cancel. I lost hundreds of euros for nothing. I tried cancelling end of the year and they ignored me multiple times before I could finally cancel ( it literally says in the email 11.1.2021). Now we have October 2021 and I am STILL being charged. I have now eliminated them from my bank account at least but am still receiving emails. I honestly don't know what else to do.

Thieves

It's a quite nice gym, but so are others. They have very weird system when you cancel your subscription - you choose your end date and FROM THAT you will still have one month of subscription until it will actually end. I just payed an extra month to not go to the gym... I love it how when you have a problem and contact them they will not answer because they're "very very busy" and then when you've missed a payment they contact you via e-mail and send letters to your home address. I have sent multiple e-mails regarding different issues, they simply not answer, not even after the fact. Everything on the website is in Dutch so for a foreign person is very difficult to get around, you have little information on the platform regarding your payments and subscription

Terrible experience with the customer…

Terrible experience with the customer service. I have asked them how to not be debited from my account since I know I was not going to use the facilities for more than a year (I am an international ttudent). The person at the front desk of the Bijlmer Arena location told me that if I paid one year straight, I would not be debited from my account and that my subscribtion would automatically stop by the end of the year. I asked this because I didn't want to have a bad experience with cancelling subscribtion and everything. So I paid.. And you know wat? Bingo, I just received an email from fitforfree asking me to pay 185€ for the months that I didn't pay since I left Amsterdam. How can I owe months? If I paid a yearly plan that was supposed to stop by the end of it? I tried to contact them many times on the email address they sent for customers' questions and never got an answer. However, they keep sending emails. Such a scam

They are taking money from people…
They are taking money from people without good reasons I thought I was the only one until I started asking around. You can’t reach them through the phone and when you email them they ignore you. I took an abbo that I was supposed to pay 17,99 every 4 weeks for 2 years and out of the blue they started sending me emails that I have to pay them a huge sum of money and I don’t understand why exactly. I have been trying to reach them sinds and they ignoring me and continue sending me automatisch letters about my payment. The is so wrong

And the award for worst customer service goes to...

Fit For Free is the worst kind of gym you can possibly imagine when it comes to their HQ and "customer service", meaning their total lack of it. Customer service is completely absent, you simply can't call them as they run a standard voicemail claiming they shut down the number "due to COVID-19" which is obviously complete nonsense. Trying to send them an email instead or mail a written letter is also a complete waste of your time, they will simply ignore you and most likely not respond at all.

I received a ridiculous payment reminder even though I cancelled my subscription in January already. Sending payment reminders on complete false grounds seems to be major hobby of its management. It's a complete scam with no regard for customer service or legal rights what so ever. The clubs are fine, the HQ and management aren't. Definitely one of my personal top 5 worst Dutch companies in terms of customer service and respecting customer legal rights.

It's all about the money, no love for their line of work or the industry at all. Pressuring customers to pay dubious bills is part of their standard revenue model unfortunately. If you're looking for a good gym that values its customers I would urge anyone to look elsewhere instead. They're definitely not worth your time nor your money.

They must realise that there will always be issues to be sorted and that this is not doing them and their customers any good. I managed to scrape back 1 payment which was due to me, and am now keeping a very close look on my bank account.
If nothing else it is just plain r u d e.

Worse experience

Worse experience!
I am not a client for over a year and they keep trying to take money from my bank
I never gave them authorization to do this and they keep doing this, I have spoken with 3 different people and they can't give a solution, they just want to take your money, they don't care about you as a client. You see fir for free? Run from them and never look back, I wish I had been warned.
