not cheap, but well worth the money
I heard about FFT from a neighbour (here in deepest Bucks!) Sure, it's more expensive than your local supermarket, but I think it's fair to say that you get what you pay for. We've really enjoyed the fish we've bought, and we'll continue to use them, it's nice to think that we're supporting the UK fishing industry as well! They are also pleasingly accurate about delivery times!
Superb fresh lobster delivered from Cornwall
Normally, for our wedding anniversary, we would have gone to a good hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant. This year, elderly and vulnerable to coronavirus, we had to stay at home; so after a bit of research, I ordered a lobster from the Cornish business Fish for Thought. It was delivered at 10:30 this morning, and I stripped it and served it up with salad for a celebration lunch two hours later. It was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked (the claw meat slipped from its shell with no complaint whatsoever), and a most excellent price: £33.30 for a one-kilo lobster, with free delivery (in ecological recyclable packaging) all the way to Sussex and guaranteed to arrive before noon. We will most certainly order from Fish for Thought again for our next celebration meal!
