BREACH OF GDPR

This company has breached my data rights. It has purchased my personal date from an illegal data-scraping organisation and commenced sending me nuisance, unsolicited emails. Ask yourself this question - should I do business with a company that behaves like this? Beware.

Spammers

Started emailing out of the blue to my personal email address at work trying to flog car leasing. We're a remote business with no need for vehicles and there's nothing that would suggest we would be.

Email came from with a first-vehicle-finance.co.uk which then links through to their real website firstvehiclefinance.co.uk - I am sure they do this for a legitimate reason rather than to avoid burning their real domain. Tracking parameter in the link to their real website was "PPLMarketing" who are spammers.

Weirdly the email starts "Your email came the other day so I thought I'd introduce myself" - an odd thing to do for a cold email, I didn't email them. Perhaps Richard imagined it, perhaps it's just a thin attempt to lend some legitimacy to their email.

Might have some great deals on leasing for all I know, but I'd ever deal with a company that sends unsolicited email and tries to pretend it was in response to me contacting them, because they just sound really weird.
