First Point Homecare has gone above and beyond in caring for my 75-year-old mother, and I cannot thank them enough.

Not only do they provide outstanding day-to-day care with professionalism, kindness, and respect, but they stepped up in an extraordinary way when it mattered most. While I was in another country, the carers recognised that my mum needed urgent medical attention, helped arrange her hospital admission, and contacted me immediately to keep me fully informed. Their calm, swift action and clear communication during such a stressful moment meant everything to me.

Knowing that someone was advocating for my mum, supporting her, and making sure I was informed — even when I couldn’t be there — gave me an incredible sense of relief and trust. They treated my mother with dignity, compassion, and genuine care, not just as a patient, but as a person.

Natalie was amazing. She showed my elderly father around the complex and he instantly felt at home. As a family we are so pleased he’s made the move to Bridport.

Sarah has been an absolute Godsend to my mum and our family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and Sarah is always there for me if I have any queries or if I need advice since my mums recent admission at hospital especially as it was not straightforward at all to organise everything post hospital discharge. Sarah took on the care package for my mum and came out to see us within a couple of days to fit in around my mums schedule. My mum has been back home and has carers x4 a day and they are absolutely lovely. The carers are compassionate and caring and they always listen to what my mums needs are when she directs them. My mum has never had carers before, but she now is at the age where she needs that type of support so that she can remain at home. I was abit anxious at the prospect of carers taking care of my mum especially as I have been taking care of her all these years, but I will state here in this review that I highly recommend Firstpoint Homecare for anyone who is seeking care for a loved one. Sarah and her team have never let us down. Thank you Sarah for your kindness, support and professionalism since we have met, I cannot thank you enough.

As always Diana Wiltshire at Barton Lodge Poole gave us a brilliant welcome.....the guest room top class ,we had a 2 night stay mid June, as Dad a resident had his 90th birthday! The family gathered in the social lounge on the Sunday afternoon a facility which was perfect for the party ...thank you for your attention to details and assistance.Pete and Wendy Roberts -leslie
