This might be the worst “bank”
This might be the worst “bank” I’ve ever worked with. It’s like they’re still in test mode and haven’t figured their stuff out yet even though they’ve been around forever. They have all procedures, fees, and issues that large corporate banks have without any of the staff, support, or resources. Literally useless on all fronts. You have to jump through hoops for everything with them. They change the order of transactions in your account and randomly deny things that went through 7+ days ago so they can charge you an overdraft. They basically only use automatic tellers which are constantly broken. Their mobile check deposit policy is a disaster. I just had to submit the same check 3x over 2 days because they kept denying it. Apparently you have to put “for mobile deposits at fnyfcu only” on it or it’ll reject and the photos never size the check correctly either the whole thing is a nightmare. Once I needed to deposit my NYS backed paychecks they put a 7 day extended hold on it?? They have told me to have check holds removed on my state payroll checks before that I needed to drive 45 minutes in office to speak with someone bc they couldn’t talk over the phone. I waited 3 months for checks because they kept forgetting to order them. They “can’t see” pending direct deposits even when the show on our end of the banking app as pending? Both myself and my husband are paid a full day later than our coworkers. Just don’t even waste your time with these guys.
