Great experience from start to finish. Thomas took the initiative and found me a great deal, the right protection policies. He even noticed myself on a cheaper product prior to exchange. Well recommended brokerage and will continue to use First Financial in the future.

James and Matthew at First Financial are absolutely superb. They came recommended to me when my current mortgage broker couldn’t get me a mortgage (I’m self employed) and they found me three great deals within an afternoon. I was about to exchange on the purchase of my new house and I was let down by the mortgage lender at the last minute due to a title defect on the property. In stepped Simon Ryder and Thomas Pratchett and within just 48 hours had obtained verbal confirmation from another lender that they would accept the legal position. Thomas displayed outstanding communication skills throughout, clearly explaining processes and timelines, and keeping me updated throughout. And importantly, he delivered, getting me to a point when I was able to exchange and purchase my dream home. Absolutely superb customer service from start to finish. Incredibly helpful in arranging a tricky mortgage but so, so helpful and they really went out of their way to get things done and in place expediently.

Thomas handled our remortgage (having previously sorted out the mortgage when we purchased our property). He was a pleasure to deal with, very organised, professional and on top of things (never needed chasing and was quick to chase us!). He was also quick to switch us to a lower rate just prior to completion when he identified that the mortgage provider was offering new products with lower rates.

This is the second time we have used First Financial and once again, we were delighted with the service received.
