Regarding the delivery charge, we wish it could be less, but as the goods are classed as explosives we have to use specialist Couriers. They are far and few between and their charges are much higher than standard couriers. We subsidise the cost as much as we can and hope you understand our position. Thanks again.

The company sent out different fire works
The company sent out different fire works to the one I ordered. When I rang to discuss all they had to say was “we reserve the right to replace any items that are out of stock” and refused to give me a refund despite the items provided not being to the same level of quality as the one I ordered. Absolutely disgraceful service.

I am sorry you are disappointed with our service, as you can see we usually achieve an excellent rating as Customer Service is so important to us as a company.
I am also sorry that my colleague did not give a fuller explanation as to why we are in this position. There has been a national shortage of fireworks due to huge supply issues from China. This was compounded by a worldwide shortage of shipping containers and also drivers so the stocks everyone ordered did not arrive in time. We do our best to substitute with items that are as close to what was originally ordered in terms of effects, duration and price.
Our apologies once again.

This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. I bought my fireworks on the Wednesday 3rd and paid an extra £60 for guarantee delivery on the Friday 5th November this year for our big firework party. They turned up in the Monday 8th. It was very embarrassing and frustrating to be let down like this. I tried calling and emailing and still have had no response. Stay away from this company.

Update - I can confirm we packed and dispatched your order on 4th for delivery by our Couriers the following day. They missed the delivery date and I can only apologise on their behalf, they are working under considerable duress around Bonfire night, as one of a very few explosives delivery companies, but it is no excuse for poor service - on our part also for not responding to your email of the 8th November. As a gesture of goodwill I am arranging for a discount code, which is valid for 1 year, to be sent to you. My apologies once again.

I didn't get the right fireworks that I ordered and it was disappointing as I was looking forward for the fireworks that I ordered.

Unfortunately Steve, there were big supply issues this year and most of the fireworks we ordered did not arrive in the country in time. China shut down factories in the summer, due to intense heat and that compounded with the worldwide shortage of containers and drivers resulted in a [national] shortage. When we are forced to make substitutions we do try to get near to the original in terms of price, effects and duration. We are sorry you were disappointed and that we could not supply your original choices, but we hope you enjoyed the fireworks delivered.
The firework was very good
The firework was very good. Thought the postage was expensive, especially as it turned up a day late. Realise this is not the fault of Fireworks Direct but with most other couriers they give a time slot and keep you informed. So one star deducted for the courier.
