Don’t bother I should have read reviews before ordering. Customer service is just appalling no reply to text or email complaining about the terrible delivery experience

Terrible experience and appalling customer service. Despite order arriving day late, very casual approach. When it did arrive we specifically asked for it to be put inside the gate (we’d measured it and it was plenty wide enough - also, we’ve had firewood delivered for several years with no problems leaving inside the gate). Instead, it was left blocking the pavement outside. When we contacted them we were told it wasn’t there problem and there was nothing they could do, despite their being able to contact the delivery people. We were treated with contempt and will certainly never purchase from them again. There are far better firewood companies out there that treat their customers well.

Excellent - their wood is really good quality and good sizes. It seems good value to me. I have been ordering it for three year at least now, and Matt Clarke is always extremely helpful and responsive and very nice to deal with.
The pallet delivery people have always been very good helpful people too, and this last delivery to a very awkward position was brilliantly managed by the driver.

Used them a few times now. Good product, gets the delivery instructions right and always on time. Brilliant.

Had a 0.8m3 bag of kiln dried logs delivered to top me up for rest of winter - paid for by the refund I received from E-on after having a wood burner installed!! Delivered hassle free and left outside front door as requested all decent size and good quality hard wood.

Have used many log suppliers over the years - local and National - and have had really mixed success. Came across firewoodfund and am delighted with the product and the service. Top class. And love the philosophy of the company. Will be using 100% moving forward.

I used this company for Several reasons.i have recently been confined to a wheelchair and wanted to try a delivery in a bag rather than a crate as I now found it difficult to cut up a crate. Secondly the company I had previously used had hiked the price of a similar quantity. Also they were having problems with the stock of Birch logs which I prefer, finally I wanted an alternative supplier that I could rely on. I have to say they have excelled on all points. Great service. Great product, They have now become my "go to" company, highly recommended.

As usual good quality logs & kiln dried burn well * clean + great heat output.

An extra * as Matt, due to having to cancel our holiday due to the Covid19 crisis, rescheduled our delivery not just once but twice.

I'm really impressed by my experience with this company.

Their customer service were very helpful when I tried to change my delivery date, getting in touch with the courier for me, and getting back to me within 30 minutes with an answer.

The wood itself was left out over a very rainy night, but thanks to the quality of the packaging it was still totally dry the following day when I had time to unpack and store it. An extra little touch I didn't expect was finding packaging inside with the wood so that I can return the builders bag it arrived in. I don't suppose everyone would be so impressed by this, but I have several builders bags from previous deliveries by other companies, who weren't interested in me sending the damn things back even at my own expense. I appreciate the fact that these people are willing to collect and re-use their bags for as long as possible.

The wood itself is really good quality. Each log burns for about 30 mins on average (depending on size of course), and being kiln dried its easy to light. I'm using a lot less of it than I normally do as well. I've often bought the big bags from places like Wickes, which I think are 15kg each, and got through one of those in a couple of days. I've been burning this stuff for 4 days now, and I doubt I've used that much. they kick out a lot of heat, and since my house is quite small its up to a cosy temperature in no time.

The wood is great quality, and their customer service is top notch, but for me I think the extra little touch of allowing you to return the bags rather than having to take them to the tip is what makes them just that little bit more special.

I'll be using this company again for my wood orders in future. Highly recommended.

Firewood delivery easy to track online. Delivered as scheduled. Firewood as described - size selected perfect for my small Woodburner. Burns beautifully. Packaging returnable - no waste. Will use again.

Best logs I've ever had. They lasted much longer than Logs I've bought previously locally.
