Was going to Nandos pre-cinema, but they had a waiting list, saw FireJacks next door, had a quick look at the menu, cancelled the Nandos reservation, so pleased we did, seated straight away, very polite staff, good variety of delicious food at prices similar to Nandos, will make this my restaurant of choice now, sorry Nandos.

A friend and I went to the restaurant be Believing we would get a good quality meal. Oh, how we was wrong. We ordered the 6 ounce steak, but was informed that it doesn’t actually come With chips and this had to be ordered separately. When the streak come it was tiny and on its own no other salads come with it and the chips were your ordinary skinless fries. In All, we have the steak chips and a soft drink and this come to £19.00 normally I wouldn’t have a problem with this, but the lack of food did not warrant the price. Service was okay and atmosphere seemed dead. Wouldn’t recommend no, will I be returning there.

Me and my family went to FireJacks in Stevenage for my niece's 16th Birthday,There was 7 and all are food came out at the same time which is always nice. The food was so tasty and our waiter Chris was so accommodating plight and very helpful, We are definitely coming back and I definitely recommend this place to anybody.

This place was great. Lovely sauces, lovely food and a great set of ribs. I personally think it is slightly on the expensive side as my partner and I go out for meals and usually spend £50-60 and this come to £70 and it wasn’t anything special compared to others.

Overall a great experience and would recommend people to go at least once to try the ribs out!

We booked a table at Stevenage for 40 for our staff from Hertfordshire Building Control. I initially spoke to Chris who was very helpful, friendly and professional. I also spoke to Brody, who was also just as helpful, friendly and professional. The night couldn't have gone better and Chris and the team gave excellent service and the food was fantastic, everyone had a wonderful time - thank you so much for making our night out so special - will definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

Worst service I have ever experienced. Restaurant was busy but not overly rammed. We waited a while for our food (which we could see sitting on the hot plate for 5 mins before being served to us). We still hadn’t received our drinks when we got our food (yet again we could see our drinks sat at the end of the bar). Finally got our drinks and no one checked to see if we were happy with the food/ wanted more drinks. After about 15 mins I ended up going to the bar myself and getting a refill. We had to flag the waitress to clear our table and order desert. At this point we asked for the bill as we had cinema booked and didn’t want to run late. 18 mins later we had ate desert but the waitress never returned with the bill. She never came past our table so yet again I had to get up and ask for a card machine to pay. Such a shame as food was lovely…

We have been to Firejacks many times as a family. fantastic food, customer service and ambience.

Firejacks Stevenage on a Sunday...

Quite impressed, the BBQ chicken starter was very good, rib eye steaks were both cooked just right - a little disappointed as I forgot that the garlic butter with the steak would come as a frozen patty when I thought I was going to get a sauce (which after all is what this place trumpets!) but it was fine - fries were good and so were sides... interesting that the desserts and coffee very reasonably priced by todays standards (most places seem to think its just an easy way to load up the bill) so that was good - waitress 10/10 and other staff didn't quibble when I pointed out my G+T was actually a flavoured vodka (!) - mistakes do happen so was not bothered and it was changed straight away (thats the important thing to me). I would definitely go back as overall good value for money.

The service was terrible , had to wait so long for them to even ask for drinks. When the food came it was so greasy , it was disgusting and wouldnt recommend

First and last visit in Northampton.The food was bland and expensive.The waitress was the best part of the evening.She was very cheerful.

Firejacks festival Leisure Basildon TAKEAWAY DELIVERY.
Ordered a takeaway it was so expensive we expected a lovely meal. It looked horrendous like a soggy burnt box of slop.
The ceasar salad with chicken had 3 pieces of small burnt chicken in it , hardly any ceasar sauce, limp lettuce no croutons, I've had way better out of asda.
The sweet potato fries took me a while to work out what they were, they were soggy and burnt honestly disgusting.
The big smoke burger wasn't big and was not worth the money, looked awful and unappetising, fries and onion rings soft and soggy.
It was the worst takeaway meal we have ever had and cost £34.00 MASSIVE RIP OFF, not even worth £10 only fit for the bin. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We have been to the Basildon Firejacks a few times now and every time the service has been exceptional, food great and a lovely atmosphere. We went on Saturday and made a point of saying to our lovely Waitreas (Hannah) how enjoyable both her and her colleagues on previous occasions had made our experience. The other waitress we had previously had was named Pat. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

FireJacks Basildon restaurant. My first time dining here and couldn’t be more happier. Food was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed it. Customer service was also great :). Will definitely be going again.

We dined yesterday (Friday night) at the Stevenage restaurant. Always seen them around but never tried Firejacks - glad we did.

Food is as you would expect, great quality cooked well and the service from Mina was top class. Apologetic when it took 5 minutes before taking our order which is understandable given how busy it was and he went the extra mile when the wait was longer than expected for food.

Managment were quick to put things right when there was an issue with the order being sent to the kitchen which no doubt was no fault of his own but still Mina took responsibility and was professional and understanding throughout. He's a credit to your company and had we lived closer we would be back again soon.

They gave us 90 minutes so we ordered just mains and drinks. Drinks arrived, food didn't. After an hour our food finally arrived but my chicken was RAW inside. Not slightly undercooked but simply not cooked. I didn't notice as I was so hungry, until I chewed it and gagged and had to spit it out. Took another 10 minutes to get the attention of a waitress, who also said that she couldn't believe they had sent out raw chicken and took it away. She offered to get me another meal but we only had 15 minutes left at our table and the rest of the family had nearly finished eating. Can you imagine my surprise when the bill came and they charged us for everything else? No apology. No reply to my emails. Not even a free glass of lime soda! They clearly have no standards in their kitchen and they clearly don't understand that raw chicken can cause very serious illness. AVOID.

Terrible service - especially from the manager who was dismissive and rude .

Firejacks Basildon leisure park=disgusting !!
We went for a meal when they first opened and everything was good as it should be.
The second time we went it was a disaster,food was cold,took ages.
Service was slow and uninterested.
We put it down to one of those days.

Just before lockdown we ordered on Uber eats,waited for our delivery only to find out over an hour later that our order had been cancelled as they shut the restaurant early!

We decided to give them another chance this Sunday,which was once again so disappointing!

Food was warm at a push,poorly packaged.
Items of order missing.
All in all a waste of £86 which is not acceptable.
I would advise anyone to swerve Firejacks Basildon as they clearly don’t care about the food or service anymore but still love to service charge you when they can’t get their restaurant in order!!
Disgusting 😡

I had my first meal at Firejacks in Stevenage on Saturday, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, good value and in a great environment.

What really sets them apart (from other local restaurants) is their outstanding customer service. Our waitress (Rebecca) was extremely helpful and an absolute delight.

They've pushed Frankie & Bennie's off the top spot on my list!
