I have rented with FIREFLY Malaga the last few times I have been there and find them excellant to deal with .
They are not the cheapest at the airport but they do not go in for the huge sales pitch pressure of other car insurance or try to rob you like some I should name
They are based in the terminal which is handy as well
We from Canada and have a home near Barcelona Spain. We've rented from Firefly approximately a dozen times over the last 5 years and have always been very pleased. The only negative with them is there is virtually always a 30 - 60 min wait to get your car, there's always huge lineups. We get around this a bit by having my wife head straight to Firefly when we land while I wait for our luggage to come through.
The service was quick, car new and nice. We have rented a car for a week, bought full insurance and did not have a problem. I really liked the fuel policy, they are freezing fuel deposit and after the rental charges proportionally according to how much fuel is left.
The only thing I did not like is that the way to the parking was quite confusing and nobody leaded us there or neither gave us any map.
I rented a car in Malaga, paying it in advance through Expedia.
At the time of the withdrawal, I clearly told the attendant that I did not want additional services. On returning home, FIREFLY charged my credit card for € 108. I protested with FIREFLY, but they did not repay anything. I have read in internet reviews that there are many people who have the same problem.
