Not the best-in-class customer service and miscommunication

I placed two orders with Firecom.nl over 9 months. Both were completed, though not without flaws. For example, in one of the orders, some items were not shipped, and no recalculation was made. Throughout this time, I worked with a manager named Martin. Then, Martin stopped responding, and there were no updates on our order for a couple of weeks. I started sending more and more emails, and I received a reply from someone named Peter. He didn’t explain where Martin had gone, but said my order would be shipped soon. Ultimately, the second order was also successfully received, although without the partial refund.

Next, I asked Peter to provide a TRBO Ion quotation. The quotation was done. After that, I didn’t respond to Martin for a couple of months. When I sent him new Motorola part numbers for the quotation, he said they weren’t in his system (even though some can be found on their website), and that he was irritated by this. He claimed that, because of me, they had ordered Ion for their stock and now had to return it. However, I never asked them to buy equipment for me, nor did I promise to purchase it.

In the end, Peter recommended that I find a local dealer. He again did not answer my questions about where Martin had gone, and why they were sending me to find another dealer. The last actions seemed quite rude. I have never encountered such behavior before.

For this, I am giving them a 2-star rating. Please, be rude like that to your other customers, not to me. I didn’t give you any reasons to behave this way, and I fulfilled all my obligations to you. But you did not.
