Great stay in Ambleside just after Christmas. The room was very clean and was in a great location. Communication with the owner was excellent too. No complaints

Very happy with our experience with Finest Retreats, every contact was responded to promptly and an issue during our time was resolved as soon as they could.
Found the property, Sunny Nook, to be better than described with some lovely homely touches from the owner. Be happy to use Sunny Nook again, and the services of Finest Retreats.

Easy key collection, great location,a home from home, fantastic amenities, everything you could need for a perfect stay, comfortable beds, a fabulous holiday was had! It was quiet at all times and the allocated parking was definitely a bonus.

Really good place,Clean and tidy, suitable for kids and families, close to Tenby walking distance, I would recommend family and friends.

We already knew how pretty the cottage was as well as its location. What really surprised us was the warmth of the welcome; there were really thoughtful touches, small gifts, cards and personal touches which really enhanced our stay. We have stayed in many cottages as a way of having the whole family together, but this one exceeded them all.

We have been using these apartments in Filey for a couple of years now and have to say they really are lovely.
The quality of the fitments, the bed linen and towels are all of very high standard, making our time there feel like a home from home stay.
It's local to all the amenities. Checking in and out is straight forward and the places are always immaculate.

We booked Ttich Manor, Old Wolverton, Wolverton with Finest Retreats for my wifes 50th birthday. Us a group of friends with teen children stopped at this house for the weekend at the start of December and I can say we were all blown away not only by the beauty of the house, but by the size and quality of the property which was over several floors and all immaculately decorated. It was a quirky place full of charm and character.
In the basement was a sauna and an arcade machine along with a table football and out in the courtyard there was a hot tub too.
We had great fun, the house was warm, really well presented and located, with some nice accessible walks right from the house to surrounding villages and of course pubs! We weren’t sure about the location having never explored this part of the country before, but it was ideal as we had people coming from Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire, all on a Friday night in rush hour traffic and no ones journey took no more than around an hour, which made for a stress free start to the weekend.
There are great entertaining places within the house, the kitchen is a great hub, there is a huge lounge and the dining area proved to be a smash hit for our dinner and cocktail evening on the Saturday. The teens loved it too as they had plenty of space to escape the old f@rts when they needed to and people also enjoyed a dip into the hot tub and had a sauna too.

The house made for a great weekend away, very relaxed and stress free and my wife loved her birthday weekend away with family and friends.

We had such a fantastic time on our break. The property was just as described by Finest Retreats - and in fact it was even better than we had expected!
Bookings and communications with Finest retreats were clear and made everything straight forward. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a week in Nelly's Nook in Matlock. It was cosy, clean and very bright. Everything to hand and easy to use. Close to the river and town, either going round the back to the bridge and through the park or down the road to the main bridge. Easy to got around by public transport, including Matlock Bath, The Heights of Abraham and Bakewell. Cafe's, restaurants and pubs very close by, though the Remarkable Hare stood out for food. The only thing that had hubby complaining a little, were the stairs LOL. So if you struggle with stairs, this might not be fore you. Would definitely stay again if we are ever down that way.

We stayed at Demelza Cottage in November and found it very cosy and comfortable. The wood burner worked very well and there was also extra heating if we needed it - it actually snowed while we were there so we did use it a bit!
It's very clean and well equipped too.
Its a great location for some nice walks and the nearby village is walking distance with a pub and cafe.
Would definitely come back.

Had a great stay in a converted 2 bed apartment, ideal location for us. Property was well presented and looked after. Secluded and very unique location too. Will stay again!

What an amazing experience we had. Such a secluded spot, in the heart of nature a complete reset away from streetlights and technology. Good for the soul.
Myself and my wife wanted a relaxed evening away from life, kids, pets etc to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We will be rebooking in the near future.

We love their accommodation in Filey, as great standard.

The photos and description in the listing really do match up with reality.
I booked based on the view of St Michael's Mount from the windows - knowing that Cornwall in November can have miserable weather, I was looking for somewhere that would still be ok to be "stuck indoors in". I wasn't disappointed. This is a place you genuinely could live in. Cosy and well kitted-out, it felt like a home. (The bathroom is through the bedroom, and the bedroom is on the ground floor, so you do need to be aware of that - it is clear from the photos, and makes complete sense to get the best from the view.)
The booking was straightforward and the pre-arrival instructions & where to find the key were really clear, making my arrival stress-free.
I had a couple of questions prior to arrival and they were answered quickly. Although I didn't need to contact anyone for assistance during the stay, I was confident I would have been well looked after. The folder of "Important Information" ready in the property covered everything I needed to know.

Highfield House, Ripon.
Well appointed, spacious, immaculate and comfortable apartment in Highfield House, close to Ripon town centre. Quiet location with parking on site. Good communication from Finest Retreats. Would highly recommend this property.

Delightful cottage with lots of lovely details. Spacious garden. We felt safe and secluded in the ocation with easy access to surrounding areas. Dog friendly in downstairs section house. Spacious and cosy. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a very comfortable apartment in a brilliant location in the centre of Beaumaris. The beds were comfy and the apartment was well equipped. We loved the views from the lounge and being able to walk to the bars was a real bonus!

Wonderful treehouse mini break! Set in beautiful woodland, the treehouse was cosy with a log burner and a comfy double bed. Be prepared for off grid living but it had everything we needed. Such a peaceful, restful weekend. Thank you, Finest Retreat!

I loved my stay the cottage was clean organized $comfortable and positioned nicely with places I wanted to visit communication with finest retreat was also good kept me upto date with any information I highly recommend this company and also this cottage i stayed in I will be visiting my family again in August 2026 and hopefully I'll get the chance to stay there again
