Hey, I've been in the horse business for 20 years and for 20 years one thing has really been getting on my nerves. The algae in my horses' drinking trough after I've been scrubbing and scrubbing for ages. I discovered the PureCube through Facebook and despite the fact that I was very critical, the Cube works exactly as it should.
I ordered the PureCube and cleaned the water basin as described before inserting it and even after several days the water was clear and clean. I am very satisfied and everything worked as discussed.
After fully explaining the issues with my purchase, customer service reached out and finally gave me my refund for the product. I am pleased with the outcome and have changed my review from 1 to 5 stars.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the product I purchased from Filternatur and the entire experience. First, it took an entire month for my order to arrive, despite tracking information stating that it had been delivered, which was not the case. It only showed up a week later.
I initially purchased the product through a Facebook ad that offered a guarantee. I even took advantage of a deal and bought two. However, after following the setup instructions and placing the block in our dog's kiddie pool, I found that over the course of two weeks, the pool water turned green with algae – just as it did before I ever used the cube.
I immediately reached out to Filternatur, and they responded by forwarding my issue to the refund department. Weeks passed with no resolution. When I followed up, I was told that refunds were not available for used products, and I would need to cover shipping costs to return the items in their original packaging. This is completely unacceptable.
How can a customer determine if a product works unless they use it? The 14-day refund policy is effectively useless given the delays in receiving the product and the time needed to assess its performance.
I am requesting a full refund for this non-functioning product and expect a prompt response to resolve this issue. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Mine arrived damaged, and when I sent photos and said I was not impressed with the condition, not one word back from them. BUT most importantly, since using the product( as instructed) there is zero, none difference in the water in my horse trough. I have cleaned the filter, but the water is murky and full of algae.It has NEVER worked as described. I am calling a scam here. So back to the drawing board.
These filters work well, and the trough water was still clean after a week, however, if your horse is like mine and loves to splash around with their hooves in the tub you may want to consider where you put it. My horse smashed it to pieces!
I really love the product so far! Brings me a lot of peace of mind knowing my horses are drinking pure clean water. I’ve also noticed my water tank staying cleaner for longer. Which is another plus.
It’s super simple just put the filter into the water and that’s it and it has a pretty long life span which is so amazing! 10/10 recommend!
Update June 14th: Just received an email from them claiming my package was damaged in transit. This is a total FAKE and SCAM website. Buyer beware! Update June 8th, 2025. I was sent a shipping notification with tracking. Item hasn't been picked up by the carrier in 5 days. Just a tracking number doesn't cut it. Have contacted them with NO response. If not received within the 30 day mail order law, I will call my credit card for a complete refund. Company website says "Made in Germany" Just received shipping notification, coming from Wuhan China. Very deceiving. Now I don't trust using these filters. I don't like dishonest companies. Will see what the actual filter says where they were made.
