Very bad experience

Very bad experience. Do not do business with this company. I ordered 2 filters at a cost of approximately $42. I received and unfortunately they were not the right size. That was my fault for ordering the wrong size. I called and spoke with a rep about the process to return them. He or she( can’t remember) said to simply take them to shipping facility of my choice, get a tracking number and send an email to customer service. They would reimburse me for filters and shipping. I checked with UPS who wanted $46 to return, seemed excessive even though the company said they would pay, I thought it was too much. I went to USPS and shipping was only slightly less at $42. I sent a em to customer service and asked if there was a cheaper way to send. A week or so went by and no reply. So I went back to the post office and mailed them. Sent another email to customer service with tracking number and request for refund. Several weeks went by with no refund and no response to my email. On March 4, I called and asked about my refund. I spoke with Savanna, she saw my tracking number and said that I was supposed to call them with a tracking number, not email.She said she would issue a refund for the filters but shipping cost was not going to be reimbursed. I asked for a manager. She said she would have manager call me. Savanna actually was the one who called back, not the manager. Savanna stated that the manager had listened to my initial phone call carefully and states it was very clear that shipping was not going to be reimbursed. Bullish_t!! I know that I was told it would be reimbursed or I would have never spent $42 to return them!!! This company has deceitful practices and poor customer service. All I can do at this point is vent and give a public review. Avoid doing business with them

I order 16x20x1 Merv 13 Platinum…

I order 16x20x1 Merv 13 Platinum filters. I open the package and pull one of the 6 filters out and replace my old filter. I suddenly notice the size is different! In BOLD LETTERS it clearly states 16x20x1. Under the bold letters in smaller unbold letters it states 15 1/2"x19 1/2" x 3/4". I called the company directly and they mentioned the "actual size" was listed in section 3 of their website. I informed the customer service person it did not fit properly and it is not what I ordered. The customer service rep said I could have a custom order done for $150. and I would need to pay for the return of the other filters. DECEPTIVE MARKETING! The filters are not the size advertised on Amazon. So now I am stuck with 6 filters that do not even fit properly. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute so they will not get paid!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They sell air filters rated by them as Merv 13. However, their filters are more like Merv 1. I send them pictures of Merv 11 (I bought from a different company) vs their Merv 13> The pictures clearly shows the scam this company is running. They offer me to ship the filters back on my own dime and then they'll refund my purchase. Based on reviews from other customer they don't refund the money so I'm not going to spend another dime on these scammers. I wish I had read the reviews before my purchase.

Hi Sam, We use Kimberly Clark MERV 13 synthetic media in production. of our filters, which are generally regarded to be the best currently on the market. I can tell you that testing in a noncontrolled environment is difficult and often faulty, when we send our testing to an independent lab (Blue Heaven https://blueheaventech.com/), they have to take great precautions to isolate variables. I am not sure what testing method you used to come to this conclusion other then a photo but I can assure you we are not a scam . We are the largest air filter manufacturing company in the USA and ship over 100,000 filters per day from one of our four manufacturing plants right here in the good ole USA! Filter Buy is not recommended

Like: ordering process, information about the product and ease of use on the website, responsive customer service.

Dislike: filters size specification was incorrect (off by 1/2" in Width and Height). This led to returns. The products showed as delivered even though the second package had not shipped. Took over 6 days for products to be delivered. Buyer has to pay for return shipping which can be high depending on size of your filter.

I do not recommend this vendor or their product.

Do not buy from this company or on…

Do not buy from this company or on Amazon. They charged me for a MERV 13 filter but could not deliver. They charged for MERV 13 but delivered Merv 8. Absolute garbage customer service. Stay away from this company!!! They would not even pay for return shipping, I had to file CC dispute with Amex.

I have ordered the SAME SIZE AND TYPE…

I have ordered the SAME SIZE AND TYPE of filters from Filterbuy three times only to receive the incorrect filters each time. In all three instances the order confirmation provided by Filterbuy indicate the correct filters I ordered. They must grab any filters off the shelf and ship them hoping nobody complains.

Filterbuy reached out because of my review - and shipped a new replacement set free of charge. They mentioned they would do this without review - so my bad, I should have reached out. New filters are great and arrived fine. Raising to 5 stars from original 3!

Ordered custom filters (15.5 x 29.5 x 2) from them.

Fast shipping, got in 4-5 days for reasonable cost.

Filters fit just perfect with the custom fit.

However, the filters are seemingly of very poor quality, and were heavily damaged during shipping. The sides of the filter easily detach from the cardboard (weak glue.) Removing two stars for cheap construction and not providing enough box protection to prevent UPS/Fedex from destroying.

I never purchased any product other than 1 furnace filter, 1 time. All of a sudden one day, hundreds of dollars of furnace filters arrived at my doorstep. They put me on an "auto renewal" program without my consent. For a YEARS supply of filters. Buyer beware

Garbage wrong size filters

Same story as everyone. For some reason their 25x20x4 filters are actually 24x19x3 which obviously do not fit properly. Why the heck would a filter company do this? This is not how filters work, they need to fit to work. Stupid company.

I returned my unused filters and they never credited me for my return - thieves

This is Allison Haughton-Green, a physician in Orlando, FL who purchased $429 of filters from Filter Buy Nov 18th. They send me 6 of the wrong filters. I called and spoke to Deleshia. I emailed her the new filter and the existing filter so she could see that I was shipped the wrong filter. I had to ask for a prepaid return label to me emailed to me. I. I was told my customer service that she "has to see" if she can do this. I am placed on hold for minutes. She finally comes back. YEs she will send the prepaid return label. Within 2 hours, I drive to Fed Ex - take pictures of the return receipt and filters given to Fed Ex and email FilterBuy, Deleshia promised to call or email me when the filters were received and my refund processed. 1.5 weeks have passed . No email or telephone call as promised. I have the tracking number and it was delivered to Filter Buy Nov 26, 2021. Today is Sunday Dec 5th. Still no refund. So on Sunday afternoon, I call and speak Melissa, who is extremely rude, did not apologize for my inconvenience, my having to call to get my only back after they have had my return items for 9 days, cannot do math and wants to refund me $146, when my filters I returned cost me $211.14 = tax.

DREADFUL customer service! WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! Reporting them tomorrow to the Federal trade Commission.

Poor order fulfillment, shipping and customer service

I have been using Filterbuy for the last year, however, the last two orders I placed with them have had mistakes. The first time, they never shipped my order even though they took the payment. I had to call them to get the shipment moving. I was not offered a refund or anything for their mistake, not that I wanted one, but it was not even offered. Then today, I received an order of 6 filters that were the wrong size. I never ordered 6 filters of that size, and when I chatted in, I was told they would ship me a new one and I would get a shipping number in 24 to 48 hours. I was not happy at all so I called in and requested a sup call back which never happened. All I wanted was my filter over nighted since they keep messing up my orders. I will not be using them again.
