A 20kg package goes "missing" - WTF
I ordered a new set of alloy wheels for the car online. The seller unfortunately uses Fedex as a carrier.
The wheels came as 2 packages as apparently there is a 40kg maximum limit, so it had 2 tracking numbers for 2 boxes (with 2 wheels in each box).
The packages were collected by Fedex on May 11th.
On May 12th I had a delivery - of one box.....
On tracking the second box was just shown as "we have your item" with no estimated delivery date.
It stayed that way for the next 2 or 3 days. Contacting Fedex is a waste of time as you only get through to bots.
Contacting the retailer it turns out Fedex have LOST the second box. I mean a 20+kg box that is about 60x60x60cm just VANISHES!!! Absolute cretins....
As the wheels were ordered from Germany, I now have to wait another 4-5 WEEKS for the next delivery to get the 3rd and 4th wheels to make the set.
Not the retailers fault, but Fedex are idiots. They called me about 2 days ago to check if I had received any of the 2 boxes - no apology, absolute charlatans.
Am I gonna get my package, have a guess ???
Text from fedex informing me my package would be delivered on Wednesday 20th may 2026.
So I’ve waited in all day it’s now 7pm and still no package.
So went on the tracking page and it looks like it’s still in the midlands, some nearly 400miles from where I live. Which tracking page is right ?. The one that says it would be delivered today ? Or the tracking page which states it’s still in the midlands.

Unable to give less than 1 star, which is honestly what they deserve. Expecting 5 items (from the same company). I wait in for the allocated delivery slot, only to receive 3 items. Driver states they are on another vehicle (seems less economical but OK). Nothing arrives. Check for updates, one parcel is still in Newcastle and the other the driver 'forgot and left at the depot'. We have now received the 'left' package today, but no sign of the last part... even worse than this messing about, is the fact you can't even speak to anyone. They hide behind their screens, raking in the profits, offering THEE worst service ever. The fact Everi are better says something. Avoid at all costs.
Only a smidgen up on Evri
I am rating this 2 star, rather than 1, as despite being incredibly thick, FedEx do at least get my parcel to within 50 metres of my home, as opposed to Evri who just keep hold of my parcels at their central hub.
The issue is, that the muppet that is our local driver, just leaves the parcel under a carport. This is probably because on the mandate for our address instruction is to 'leave under the car port if 'no answer at the door'. The problem is, they don't leave it under OUR carport and they don't even attempt to knock at the door of the random house they leave it at!

I am extremely angry and disappointed with the unacceptable delay to my parcel. It has been stuck in Maidstone for over a week, and I have still not received any proper update or clear information about when it will be delivered.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. I expect an urgent explanation for this delay, immediate confirmation of the current status of my shipment, and a clear delivery date without any further excuses

Like everyone else here. Fed Ex is totally awful. No way to set a safe location. Won't leave it with a neighbour. When it does go to a pickup point, they ask for a bar code that isn't available. Obviously can't give it less than 1 star... But an average of 1.2 stars from 6,000 reviews. Must be something dodgy going on to still be in business. What a disaster of an organisation

Fedex use a debt collection agency, who have been harassing me for an invoice which was credited on my account three months ago.
I have exchanged over 80 emails with Fedex UK customer support, who are completely dysfunctional.
I have spent over 4-5 hours or more on the telephone with their customer services and still the issue is not resolved.
Fedex customer service and billing is completely and utterly dysfunctional.
I strongly recommend to avoid this company at all costs.
Total joke of a company
Total joke of a company. Twice informed that a package I had ordered was "on the delivery van" fo rdelivery that day, but, of course it never arrived. Tried to contact customer support but it is laughable/non-existent. Spoke to some AI generated entity who told me to keep checking the online tracking updates. Why are these companies still permitted to trade in the UK with such abysmal performance and support. Utterly disgraceful.
Unreliable
4 hour slot for delivery by 12:40, which then went out to delivery by 22:00. FedEx missed their initial window comprehensively but at least managed to get the parcel to me - no apology - before 22:00. They are clearly in a race to the bottom with EVRI!

I’m giving this one star cause I am unable to give lower. i’ve never wrote a bad review in my life but this was just necessary! Firstly why is the FEDEX website the most “it’s not our fault” website ever, they have documentation on absolutely everything to prove all the thing that aren’t their fault except when it comes to writing a review they don’t want it, cause they know their services cannot pull through with a single delivery. I honestly thought I had been taken to a scammer page at first when I went to see where my delivery went, oh to a random address, with a random phone number and signed by a name that’s not mine, deeply disappointed and want to share this experience because no one else should have to go through the same rage bait, using that website has genuinely made me loose a few braincells. I hope you're happy FEDEX
They've no idea what they're doing
No notification that delivery was taking place last Friday. I was out. Got a text message while out saying delivery would take place on Monday. When I got home there was a card left to say delivery had been attempted with a web link to see delivery options. The card had a time stamp, and the text message i received was sent two minutes after the attempted delivery ??? Tried the web link but it kept saying unable to retrieve delivery options. I downloaded their App. Not much help either. Except on the Saturday it said delivery would be on Tuesday not Monday afterall and it would be anytime up to 10pm. Having made arrangements for yhe Tuesday delivery, on Monday I got a text saying delivery would be today with a defined time slot. This was followed 50 mins later saying delivery would be Tuesday. Anyway, it came Monday within the time slot, but 2 hours later I got a text saying delivery would be today at the time slot that had already passed.
ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES.
DO NOT USE FEDEX.
Even the delivery driver agreed to my adverse comments, saying he knew as many others had the same experience.
Fedex - great customer service experience!
I purchased a product from Portugal. Fedex reported that the product had been held in customs and the delay was out of their control. When it was cleared they tried to deliver but couldn't find the address, and sent an immediate notification saying so. I realised the vendor had given the wrong post code. Upon notifying Fedex they came back to me immediately via email and also followed it up with a phone call saying that they've received the update. I can see a lot of negative reviews but my experience of them has been extremely positive. None of the delay I experienced was due to Fedex, however they kept me updated throughout! Many thanks Fedex, I've been really impressed by your customer service! 🙏🏻

I ordered a parcel, they rescheduled it and lost the parcel. Then they asked to contact the supplier when it was their fault as they lost the parcel. Absolutely rubbish
2 failed pick up collections from Fedex
Absolutely terrible experience with FedEx. I booked a parcel collection for 13 May through their website, and nobody came. Afterwards, their system would not even let me properly manage or rebook the collection because it kept saying a collection was already booked. Completely broken system.
I then called customer service and was told they supposedly could not even see my original booking, which is ridiculous. They booked another collection for me today between 3–4 p.m. Again, nobody came.
Trying to contact them afterwards was another nightmare. Their automated system makes it nearly impossible to speak to a real person, and the robot system even falsely claimed that the parcel had already been collected between 2–3 p.m. — despite the fact that:
1. The booked slot was actually 3–4 p.m.
2. The parcel was still sitting in my house because nobody ever came.
Two failed collections, conflicting information, inaccessible customer support, and false updates. Easily one of the worst courier experiences I have had with any company. DHL has never operated like this.
FedEx seriously needs to fix its customer service and collection system because this level of incompetence is unacceptable.
