Utterly inept

I paid for express delivery and stayed in on the confirmed delivery day. No attempt at delivery was made—no delivery van, no doorbell ring or knock at the door—and I received an email saying "sorry we missed you."

Deeply disappointing service from such a major logistics company

It is hard to believe that a company as large and well-known as FedEx can provide such a poor delivery experience. In my case, delivery slots were missed and updates were unreliable, making it impossible to know when parcels would actually arrive.

The notification system feels badly designed for real-world customer needs. Rather than giving clear and dependable information, it created confusion and frustration. Waiting for a parcel should not feel like guesswork.

Based on this experience, I would avoid using FedEx where possible. A major logistics company should be able to provide accurate tracking, realistic delivery estimates, and clear communication.

Cornwall deliveries

I think there must be a particular issue with deliveries from the Fedex Launceston depot, judging by reviews. I stayed in all day for a delivery due 09:30 to 13:30 to have it delivered just after 5 pm. Nice friendly delivery driver but she was unaware I had been given a time...

This is the second Fedex delivery to the property - first one was equally problematic and after 3 or 4 failed attempts and then involving the company I was buying from, it was suggested that best I pick up from depot (2 hr round trip in car!).

Once again they have failed in what…

Once again they have failed in what they advertise that they do, deliver a package.

Sent out notification of when it was due to be delivered and the option to provide alternative arrangements - ask them to drop off at concierge

Day arrives what do they do - oh we tried to deliver but you’re were not in

Customer service, on the website? - doesn’t exist, complaints - doesn’t exist

Annoying useless AI bots. - loads of them

Had 5 parcels ordered from American shop over the last 2 years and they’ve failed to correctly deliver one of them on first attempt

1.2 stars after nearly 10000 reviews suggest that they arrogantly think they are too big to fail, until one day they will go the way of all the other firms that thought like that.

If no likes using you, when eventually a better alternative comes along and it will then guess what will happen

Worst delivery company ever

Worst delivery company ever. Didn't inform me about delivery time slot until i checked it online. Said between 8.50am and 12.50pm. Was waiting patiently at home had to take unpaid leave from work for this damn delivery. I get an email from fedex at 10:14am stating unable to deliver customer not available. I was baffled as they did not ring my intercom once. I looked out the window and saw them leaving my address this is unacceptable FedEx what is this. Then i get an email saying will deliver the next day before 10pm without a timeslot.

FedEx - more like Fed up

FedEx, more like Fed up! I’m totally fed up waiting on a gift for my son, it’s been stuck in Kingsbury for over a week now, the updates are, it’s on its way, but it hasn’t moved from Kingsbury. Unfortunately, we have no choice in what delivery company the retailer uses, but FedEx are awful. You cannot contact them to find out why there’s such a delay. I’ve only ordered a t shirt, not sure why that would cause such a delay at customs!

Don't get me started on trying to contact them, when finally getting someone on live chat who promised delivery, nothing turned up

Getting as bad as evri

Absolutely appalling service from FedEx. I’ve had multiple deliveries and collections booked this week and every single one has gone wrong. Collections have been missed 3 days in a row with no proper explanation, despite me staying in waiting for them. Deliveries have also been marked as “out for delivery” only to arrive 2 days later.

The lack of communication, reliability and customer service is shocking. People arrange time off work and plan their days around these bookings, and FedEx seem completely incapable of sticking to the times they give.

This isn’t a one-off mistake anymore it’s been repeated failures all week. I honestly would avoid using FedEx wherever possible after this experience.

Whats happened to FedEx

Whats happened to FedEx? they failed to deliver a number of packages despite the fact that we were at home all day. then they set a message with a Premium Rate phone number on without any warning. No other clear info, we got an email to say our delivery would take place on Monday, with would have been great. but they try to deliver again on Sat and we were away.

The extra mile

I have had several deliveries from Fedex, on each occasion I cannot fault the delivery. It has been within the time window stated, furthermore, the young man who made the drop went above and beyond to help. Not only was he friendly and courteous but also extremely helpful. I am unable to handle large, heavy parcels so he carried them inside to a spot convenient for me to manage them. He has now done this every time. A lovely young man and an asset to his company.

It is unimaginable that such a big name…

It is unimaginable that such a big name in the world of logistics is also one of the worst. Avoid at all costs!!!! You will never know when your parcel will be truly delivered. Their notification system was clearly designed by people who have no idea how real-world logistics systems work, especially in the UK and probably never bothered testing them. Good luck waiting for your parcel to arrive, while betting on which of the everlasting rolling scheduled delivery dates will get to be the correct one.

I wish that I could leave 0 stars as up…

I wish that I could leave 0 stars as up to now I was thinking that nothing worse than HERMES would ever happen. And then you have FedEx- totally un responsible company that in logistics they have a bunch of people who have 0 clue what they are doing. From 2 days I’m waiting for scheduled for 28/05 by 6pm parcel that right now by the end of next day still isn’t delivered. No one even send any message that they will not be able to deliver. Instead it that they keep sending empty promises and no one is giving a single s… about that!! Now after 2 beautiful days spent at home waiting for them I’m done and will never care what are they sending to me … avoid them as a 🔥 not worth any money and stress!!

Dreadful, avoid

Dreadful, nearly every time they are employed to deliver. Mostly as today, I receive a message informing me that delivery is scheduled for today, a few hours later another message delivery will be in a few days time, then the same day the delivery is back on schedule, sadly without any notification it doesn’t arrive.

waited in for 6 hours plus!!

Notified yesterday that I would be getting delivery today between 09:10 and 13:10, I already had a doctors appointment booked today for 10:30, I managed to re- arrange the Doctors appointment for 3:30 this afternoon so I could be in for the fedex delivery because it needs a signature on delivery. it is now 14:15 and still no sign of the delivery, I'm going to have to leave the house for the rearranged Doctors appointment in the next 20 mins, the fedex app has now changed my approx delivery time to anytime up to 22:00. I'm sure as soon as I return I will find a card through my door explaining that due to me not being in I couldn't have my item delivered!!If only more online companies informed their customers what courier they used before we place an order we could avoid giving our business to the online companies that use these cowboys

Really bad delivery

Really bad delivery, chucked over a locked gate at the side path, instead of delivery at the front door with a driveway and house number so there no excuse,
it was only because my sister-in-law was doing some work in the front garden later on she noticed it,
because we were NOT told it had arrived it could have been stolen or damaged by rain !
Deliveries in the past have always be at the front door so why was this done ? and it was suppose to be next day delivery NOT next day delivery plus 1 day ! there was 3 people in the house at the time so a excuse there was none home not valid.
Noticed 94% bad reviews says it all.
