A dreadful app

A dreadful app. While a good idea in principle our works car park is now empty and everyone is parking on the roads nearby and causing issues elsewhere. The problem has been exacerbated by the number of parking spaces reserved for users of Faxi. This was less of a problem previously. Our employees come from a very wide catchment area and work different hours and it is not feasible to expect them to always share the same journey.

Feedback

Good for teaming up with other drivers local to where you live and sharing lifts to work. However a little disappointed that when we were applying for a on-site pass the criteria meant that I would have to share all days with the same person. Only one of us could be named on the pass and park on any given day.

unreliable and only focuses on the UHCW site not cross trust to also represent Rugby St Cross, navigation is poor and difficult to unsubscribe.

Difficult to review

Difficult to review as, although I am registered, there seems to be no-one living close to me who is happy to share lifts to and from work.

The app could be easier to use..

The app could be easier to use... especially for a shift worker where they have different start times and drivers.
The company you work for should of all the benefits that Faxi offer... unfortunately mine doesn’t.... do a good idea in principal but needs to consider all job roles not just 9-5 Monday-Friday...

Faxi is an excellent idea, You are able to car share when you are working on the same shift. It saves you a bit of Money too!

Complicated and with flaws

The app is very complicated to use and I'm still not convinced that I am using it correctly. I work 3 different shift patterns each week so I must set up 3 different car pools each week. The software needs to be changed so that I can enter my car sharing on one carpool, not 3. The promise of " the best parking spaces in the best car parks" has not materialised yet as after 3 weeks of using Faxi, I am still in the second worst car park at Gatwick Airport.

If you are one of our top drivers, your request to change to a closer car park gets raised to the top of the pile meaning when allocations become available our top drivers can get their choice of car park, for the future. I haven't heard any information from Gatwick about when the reallocation is going to happen, and all decisions regarding reallocation are at Gatwicks discretion.

The app is clunky and poorly coded and no one replies to messages. It feels like there are glaring privacy issues.
