I have webpages hosted in 5 places. (I don't like all eggs in one basket!)
I've had pages at Fastnet (and an older company they absorbed) since before 1998.
I RARELY seek tech support from them by phone. They have good help pages. But sometimes I have emailed questions, or phoned... and they've been fantastic. (Customers should remember what personal hand holding over the phone costs the companies that are generous enough to allow it... or we risk them joining the ones that don't!)
I say "fantastic" empahtically in part because my questions arise because they have kept some very old pages going at an old URL. Many companies would have said "You'll have to change. We don't do that any more."
Victoria was superb today (17 Mar 25). Enormously patient. It was one of those tedious things where four things, any of which can have 5 settings, had all to line up. (And as I said, this was to overcome some legacy issues. Oh. And I wasn't using one of the FTP clients they recommend.)
BUT VICTORIA WAS VICTORIOUS... and pleasant throughout what by the end must have seemed a VERY tedious tech support session. I enjoyed the call, in spite of the work we were struggling with.
I hope they will give me another 25 years of web hosting.

We've been with Fastnet for 10 years. They've been brilliant. They're a local (Brighton) provider meaning you speak to real people. Any issues - and there have been very few - have been sorted out quickly and efficiently. Service and internet speed has been excellent!
Cannot recommend enough.

Great customer service, terribley unreliable service.
Here at WDA we feel totally confident in recommending Fastnet to our clients for all of their hosting and online support. We have been using their services ourselves since the early part of this century... that's how much we trust them! Not looking to go to anyone else anytime soon.

Any problem I have had they have solved really quickly. You can speak to someone easily.
I am a third party IT guy with a mutual client. These guys rock when it comes to sorting thing out. They got me out of a tight spot in really short order. John, Jordan, Viktoriia, Luke, Darren, the list goes on. To use the vernacular, .....respect!

Terrible outfit....avoid at all costs. Our two business lines have been down for a week and all they can tell us is "it's not our fault". They offer now solutions and clearly don't care for their customers or their own reputation.
tlmNexus Ltd has been a customer of FastNet since January 2023.
With the changes to our infrastructure and adoption of Hybrid working we had a requirement to refresh much of our infrastructure.
FastNet have been an excellent and fast service from day one and our onboarding was swift and efficient. FastNet walked us through the process and listened to all our requirements, configuring their edge devices to support our infrastructure at our head office and our rather cutting edge Palo Alto Prisma Access SASE platform.
I would highly recommend to anyone and its always great support a fellow Brighton based business.
I have used this company for a number of years for all my internet needs. Simply put they are exceptional!
Also i recommend you speak to Jordan who has been my point of contact since the beginning, he has always been professional and extremely knowledgeable, going far and beyond to assist.
