Been with these for over 2 years and…

Been with these for over 2 years and never had any issues. Very quickly to respond and when I upgraded my website which caused a slight conflict they fixed it within minutes. Highly recommended.

Hosting customers’ websites can be permanently locked if a reseller closes – very risky to be Avoided at all cost

Be very careful. If your site is hosted via a reseller and that reseller’s account is suspended, you may lose access to your website files and database even if you own the domain and the content.
I was denied access to my own WordPress site for migration purposes because the reseller’s account was suspended. This creates a serious risk for businesses who rely on their website to trade.
I would not recommend this setup whatsoever

As they have responded here is my response back as I don't know why your false narratives have been spun as if I claimed to be the account holder:

Thank you for your response. I’d like to clarify a few factual points for transparency.

I have never claimed to be the billing account holder. My review is based on my experience as the website and domain owner whose business website was hosted on your infrastructure. I actually do have an account with you. Which I can still log into, but just see that my actual account within the platform after I login is closed. Which was set up in order to correspond with you and contact customer support and open a ticket to inquire about the recovery of my data. (which I was doing until you closed it. With no notification or verification that this was happening.)

The core issue remains unchanged: I was unable to retrieve my website files and database for migration purposes, despite owning the domain and content, because access was blocked due to a third party’s billing issue.

Since raising this issue, the Fast Moose account I opened specifically to communicate about data recovery was closed while the matter was still ongoing, removing my only channel of communication. This occurred despite your stated requirement that authorization be provided — authorization which is now being sent by the account holder.

This sequence of events demonstrates the exact risk highlighted in my review: when hosting is tied to someone else’s account, a business owner can lose access to their own website data and have no practical way to resolve it.

My intention is not to dispute contracts, but to warn other businesses of this risk so they can make informed decisions about how their websites are hosted and ultimately who those services are held.

I have taken a note of each response that has been left.

THE FACTS THAT REMAIN ARE.......

While that authorization was in progress (I had an open ticket that I didn't close that I never said the enquiry was finished as the account holder is to send verification as they requested, but not only did they close the ticket they close my whole account) , the Fast Moose account I used for communication was closed, removing my ability to follow up, confirm receipt of authorization, or receive instructions for data release.

As a result, despite being told that cooperation would occur once authorization was received, there is now no active communication channel through which that cooperation can take place.

This is the risk highlighted in my review: when a business website is hosted under someone else’s account, the website owner can lose access to their own data and be left without a workable path to recovery — even when following the provider’s (Fast moose's) stated process.

My review is intended to inform other businesses of this risk so they can make informed decisions.

You are not a Fast Moose customer and have no contractual relationship with us; the issue described stems from a dispute with a third-party account holder, yet the negative review has been incorrectly directed at our business.

For clarity, the Fast Moose account referenced was not an active customer account and had no active services attached. We do not maintain inactive or non-customer accounts.

The account was closed in line with our standard account lifecycle policy. This did not prevent communication, as support remains available at all times via our official support email, which is publicly listed.

At no point was a paying customer denied a support channel, nor was any active service removed during an ongoing, authorized data release process.

As previously explained, access to hosting data can only be provided to the registered account holder or upon receipt of valid authorization, in accordance with contractual and security obligations.

We need to correct a fundamental inaccuracy in this review.

The reviewer is not a Fast Moose customer and has never held an account or service contract with us. The website referenced was hosted under another provider’s account, not a reseller arrangement and not an account owned by the reviewer.

The account holder’s service was suspended due to non-payment. As the hosting provider, we are contractually and legally permitted to communicate, provide access, or release data only to the registered account holder or with their explicit written authorization.

Important clarifications:

- There was no reseller relationship involved
- The reviewer had no account, contract, or billing relationship with Fast Moose
- The hosting account belonged entirely to a third-party provider
- The suspension was due to non-payment by that account holder, not Fast Moose

Releasing data without authorization would be a breach of contract and security policy

Domain ownership or claims of content ownership do not override hosting account ownership, access controls, or contractual obligations. Hosting providers cannot lawfully release data from an account to a non-account holder without authorization, regardless of domain ownership.

Fast Moose did not deny service to a customer, did not “lock” a customer out, and did not operate a reseller-based setup in this case. Responsibility for continuity of access rests with the account holder who controlled the hosting service and billing.

This review incorrectly assigns fault to Fast Moose for an issue arising entirely outside of our customer relationship.

Very Unhelpful - zero compassion

It appears money means more to this business than being understanding and supportive to its customers
They save card details, take payments, when you contact then and explain the situation, advise you are unhappy but offer a partial refund then change their mind and advise no refund will be issued.

I contacted them to request a refund, I had been in hospital and the very last thing I had been thinking of had been "oh their renewal", the first thing that brought this to mind was the payment confirmation email, I contacted them within 30 minutes to request the refund to have a very unprofessional and uncompassionate reply, stating their policy. They do not need to understand a person's health if they had been in hospital until around 6pm the night before their first though would be their renewal.

They made an offer of a refund, I said I was not happy as it circumstances beyond my control had resulted in this due to my hospital stay, they refused to then refund at this point I have advised I will contact my card provider.

They seem to feel hiding behind a policy when a customer has been in hospital makes it easier for them to keep money, it seems the company and agents has no compassion at all when dealing with customers, money seems to matter more.

The fact I had been taken into hospital the 28th Feb and came home 28th of march, clearly makes their argument invalid.

They appear to be money driven before customer care. I deeply apologise for been taken into hospital by ambulance following chest pains, next time I will pre book with you.

--- After independent advise the case will be raised with CCCS regarding their unfair practices.

I have had to post my review again, I mentioned a name and they reported this to have it removed, while in the positive reviews the same name is mentioned but they have not reported these, it would appear they try to silence a customer after claiming to be transparent

I have had Fast Moose now going on four…

I have had Fast Moose now going on four years and I have been incredibly happy with their service and support. Every time I've had an issue, James has responded in a prompt manner with detailed instructions, even videos to show me the correct way of doing what I was trying to do. I currently have over 35 sites and the uptime has been flawless, 99.9%. I highly recommend them and could not be happier.

Excellent CEO, truly fantastic service and future potential.

Wanting to expand the range of services my company offers in invested in a reseller licence with this company. From the outset I have been impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of this company and their support. From day one they helped my configure my account, sub-accounts, website subdomains, payment integrations, additional services that come as part of the investment in this company. This is my first review on Trustpilot and I am writing this a day after a meeting with the CEO of the parent company. In a an our web meeting with myself and my business partner, he offered advice, guidance, he questioned our objectives and offered his support. This one hour will no doubt have save this company literally thousands in the long run and months in the short term.
