Avoid – No Delivery, No Communication

I would strongly advise against ordering from Farmyard Frozen. I placed a gift order at the end of May which never arrived, and despite contacting them multiple times via email, phone, voicemail and social media, I was completely ignored for over two weeks. The only time I finally heard back was after I told them I’d raised a dispute with my bank - it felt like they only responded because they were forced to.

The excuse given was a vague reference to a website/system change, which doesn’t explain their total lack of communication or accountability. Even once I finally got a reply, I had to keep chasing to actually receive my refund. It should never take a formal dispute for a company to simply acknowledge and resolve a failed order.

To make things even more concerning, their entire website currently shows all products as “out of stock,” which raises serious questions about whether they are still operating properly or just avoiding fulfilling orders.

This was meant to be a thoughtful gift for someone who isn't very well, and it was incredibly upsetting to have it mishandled and ignored. In my opinion, this company is unreliable and unprofessional. I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them to anyone.

overpriced restaurant

Dear Farmyard team,

I’m writing to share some feedback following a recent visit Saturday 14th of June to your restaurant with friends.
While some of the food was enjoyable, the overall experience left all four of us disappointed. In particular, we were surprised to be charged £12 for a very small piece of cheese that none of us found pleasant. It’s a shame, as the restaurant has potential, but pricing and service really need to be reconsidered.

When we raised this with the manager, we were met with a dismissive and unhelpful response, which was disappointing and not in keeping with the level of service we expected.

We had been looking forward to our meal, but unfortunately the pricing and lack of customer care left us feeling let down.

I hope you take this feedback seriously, as we would love to see Farmyard live up to its potential. We would appreciate a response to this message.

Overpriced, poor quality. AVOID!!

Very overpriced for the quality received. I can’t see them lasting long given the competition. I definitely wouldn’t use again and would recommend to avoid. Customer service is atrocious too. Total apathy when it comes to any kind of query.

What customer service?

Placed one order for delivery to my sister which went according to plan.
Subsequently I have tried to contact this company twice, once by their online form submission and once by direct email. Neither of my messages received any reply, and as the query was regarding deliveries to my family members as Christmas presents, I feel totally let down by the lack of any customer service. I am beginning to regret investing in this company!

Items missing twice-awful customer service

Items missing from order for the second time, pretty poor customer service, family party ruined and now due for re delivery today and still no order and a very late email again with excuses. Not only was family meal ruined I now have to change all of my plans to go away to wait for delivery that probably won’t turn up again. Why are you sending emails offering 20% when you can’t fulfil your current orders? Shocking customer service and total lack of care.

Restaurant quality food at home

Restaurant quality food at home, what is not to love! So tasty and reasonably priced. You MUST order the gold bar, to die for!!! Delivery to home is so convenient and arrived exactly when expected. What are you waiting for!! ❤️

Food reasonable but not worth the mark up

Visited the Farmyard for my Daughters Birthday. Had Sirlion steak & Chips. Plus the lemon & Passionfruit Mille-feuille for sweet. Quality of food was good, however desert did not warrant price paid and it had no wow factor. Plus price of drinks expensive. I have been to Prime and Gunton Arms and excepted price as warranted and will go back. However I won't be going back to the Farmyard.

5 Wonderful Wellies!!!

We wanted something different at this time of year and as we were cooking for 9 we wanted Top /Quality Beef wellington's. The products where amazing and were substantial sized portions, and with Leftovers for another day. would

Superb food and customer service

Superb food and customer service - very impressed.
I needed some special food for a family occasion and although the booking system didn't show the date I needed an email brought a very quick and helpful response done in a professional but friendly way.
Delicious and imaginative food was delivered promptly so all I had to do was to enjoy the experience and receive compliments!! Thank you.

We were Farmyard Frozen virgins ……….

We were Farmyard Frozen virgins and our first order was excellent in every respect. Delivery was as expected and the food exceeded our expectations - so much so we had to confess to our friends we had ordered a posh takeaway! Keep up the good work Farmyard because we will do it again!

The best main fish course I can remember

Goat’s cheese & olive bon bons (V)

I had these to start with. Delicious and inventive.

Skrei cod, miso turnips, kohlrabi, ginger, vanilla beurre blanc

This for me was the best main fish course I can remember and I include J.Sheeky in London amongst others establishments in my repertoire.

It won on all levels: Beautifully presented, inventive and cooked to perfection.

Oh I should also mention the waiting staff - attentive and brilliant.

10/10 I will be back.
