Three strikes and they're out

Three strikes and they're out! I liked the concept so I kept trying, but I'm done with Farmy.

Latest screw up was with the return of deposit bottles, which is clearly not organized with the delivery company in Canton Valais. The new delivery was plunked down right next to a case of empty bottles labelled 'RETOUR FARMY' which was ignored. Now all they can offer me is a reduction on a new order - non, merci!

Fraudsters

As of today, I have not received the money that was supposed to be refunded to me for the advance payment for the weight of the products. It has been 1.5 months.

Great for produce and packaged goods, but issues with fresh meat and seafood

Farmy.ch is excellent for fruits, vegetables, and packaged goods — always fresh and high quality.
However, I had some issues with fresh meat and seafood: one piece of meat arrived with a greenish color, and two out of six oysters were already open and unusable.
Night-time delivery remains a weak point that could be improved, but overall, the service has great potential.

It’s expensive but you know exactly…

It’s expensive but you know exactly where the produce comes from you don’t have to buy huge portions of something like broccoli or meat and then have to throw half of it away because it’s impossible to consume it all before it goes bad. The selection of good organic bread is a lot better than Coop or Migros and it tastes better too. The flower selection is superior too and my spring window box was a delight.

The food was delivered one hour earlier and I was not informed.

The food was delivered one hour earlier what scheduled then left the bags at my door, in spite they wrote me the same day in the morning about the delivery time.
The aspect of the squids was really different from the image advertised in their website, a bag containing a mix of white and purple squids . I couldn't eat all of them, they tasted not so good. Last but not least they wrote me that they credited some francs on my farmy account, due to smaller quantity delivered. I want the money credited on my CC, not on the farmy account. I will no longer buy from them

Used to be much better

Goodbye, Farmy. Now officially.
Me and my husband used to be regular customers of the shop. We liked them quite a lot, there were some random delays of deliveries or some issues with non-delivered (or items of bad quality) products, but overall the quality of the products was very high and it worked well for us. In case of any issues, when we contacted them, all the issues were solved.
Then once they increased min delivery to 100 CHF we stopped buying, as we both have office jobs, we were not able to buy for 100 CHF without products going bad, as we dont cook often enough.

Now with their return to 50 CHF min order amount, we decided to give them another shot. And - never again.
1) Cost of items has increased significantly compared to what you get (exactly for the same products) in Coop/Migros, it used to be higher but not as much
2) This time they have informed a day in advance when the order will arrive (used to be on the same day), we thought its an improvement. However, when 20 minutes into latest deadline they gave us there were still no news, I decided to call them
3) A very sleepy and demotivated lady answered the phone. I told her that i would like to know when the delivery would arrive, she asked me to give the order number. I started giving it (in my opinion, not fast at all), and when I finished, she aggressively said "Why so fast!" and told me to do it again. Then I answered that she doesnt need to be rude, her answer was "YOU are rude". That was the end of our "nice talk". Maybe if she wasnt sleeping on her workplace (or if the delivery wasnt 20 mins delayed to the latest indicated time (what was 35 mins to the exact indicated time of the delivery)), that would not have happened.
4) Now to the items. None of them of are rotten, but none of them are fresh either (maybe except of onions - but difficult to go bad with these). For the premium price we are paying, the quality needs to be much higher than that. I paid for grapes the same price I would pay in Jelmoli, but quality is incomparable.
5) On top, they sent me an email earlier indicating the refund for lower weight of some items. As I got so angry at their customer service, I reweighted every item. In fact the weight was not indicated correctly (and for one product it was not indicated at all). Now i will need to waste time writing to them and asking for a correct refund...

Farmy‘s the best

I‘ve tried many food delivery services and over all I use Farmy regularly. There is broad choice, from basic to more specialized products, many from local areas, many bio products. I can choose from inexpensive to more expensive items. I can always find fresh quality prepared foods that are tasty and other items that make a meal interesting. Having raised my family, I am able to assemble a small meal that meets nutritional criteria as well as tasting good, sometimes without cooking. If needed, I can buy that special cut of meat and required vegetables and fruits for a large gathering. Delivery is reliable, drivers are pleasant. I will continue to order from Farmy.

Can't imagine life without Farmy…

Can't imagine life without Farmy anymore. Wonderful produce, esp. fruit and veggies in summer are amazing, great delivery service, competitive pricing. Sympathetic brand, adding goodies, little thank you notes, and supporting animals and farmers with the points one gets for shopping, and much more. Thank you !!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Very good customer service

Very good customer service, pretty usable app and trustworthy delivery (in terms of no missing items, etc.).

However, for a premium price, the quality of items delivered is often subpar - big mold on vegetables etc happens quite often so until this part's improved I'm skeptical about their chance of winning a sizeable market share.

Good produce and service

I use Farmy since 2019, almost on a weekly basis. Overall, I am quite happy with the produce quality and service efficiency. Some produce is a bit overpriced and sometimes products in the delivery are also replaced with lower quality/price ones due to unavailability of the desired products, no automatic reimbursement is received for the difference. One should spot the replacement and request a reimbursement or voucher, which is a bit too time consuming. It would be nice to have an automatic solution to this!

Good products but...

Good products, but they should get their s*** together.
In February I had one product missing from the order without being notified. Then again in April again. So it is clear to me that it will happen again. After contacting them per e-mail they did returned the money, ( except in February when they returned with a couple of francs less ) Personally I just want to buy in peace, without checking all the time what they forgot and having to send more e-mails....

Super satisfied with the quality and…

Super satisfied with the quality and delivery (the time of delivery is pretty accurate and you can choose a delivery for the next day!)
Did not receive a product, but we were able to reach the customer service on a Saturday and they replied really fast and found the right solution !
Only down side, the iphone app is not very efficient and needs to be improved.
Would definitely recommend

Nice concept but let down by rubbish execution

First time I used this was 100% great- second time was a total total disaster and enough of a disaster that I will not use them again- just too unreliable. Groceries eventually arrived at 10:30 pm on the evening of a long weekend- was scheduled between 5-9. Absolutely no communication till we called them after 9pm. We had to cancel our weekend plans and lost a nights accommodation as 10:30 was too late to leave. Clearly they knew much earlier that they were running seriously late. They could have called us and rescheduled. Great concept but you can’t operate a business in a haphazard way like this. Won’t bother ordering again. Products are nice, price is high ( which is totally fine for me and I did not mind ) but seriously let down by rubbish execution. Happy to pay premium price for premium local product- but expect it to be accompanied with passable service at a minimum. Not only the cost of the groceries but the cost of wasting our time and wasting our money on a ruined weekend. Too much hassle for too little benefit.

Excellent customer sevice

Farmy offer a large range of good products and the delivery is prompt, with a courier tracking service.

I had a special request for my recent order (which included the wish for a hand written greeting card). The customer service was most friendly, obliging and helpful.

I fully recommend Farmy!
