Sturtevant, WI Farm and Fleet sucks

Went to the Sturtevant, WI store to buy a spare for my boat trailer. Poorly stocked tire mounted on rim inventory, newly eliminated tire department, no one on parts department, no one in auto repair service desk area. No one at customer service counter. Got hold of manager, she tried three times with no avail to get someone to help me. Very sad level of customer service. I left with no spare or intent to return to store. This is why brick and mortar strores fail.

Bloomington Location Disappointments

The Bloomington location is consistently a poor experience. All of the employees act like they don’t want to be there. They are also quick to quote rules and seem fearful of management. I always see employees wandering around ignoring customers while people line up at the service center or the one open checkout. How about jumping behind the counter to help now and then? I’ve had several run ins with the service center about tires, batteries etc. Always an excuse not to help you. It makes me sad, I appreciate the niche they fill but if they keep this up, I don’t see it ending well.

First time out in our purple monster…BROKEN

First time out in our purple monster camping chair.
It fell apart...blains did not want us to return it
Without the original shipping box..
I asked recently for them to make good on the chair.
They told me contact the manufacturer in china..
I will never buy from this company ever..
No customer service...once they got your money
Your on your own..
BOYCOT THIS COMPANY FOR EVER...

Wake up, Catch up with the times.

Farm & Fleet may as well put up a sign that reads
"Shoppers under age 18 not welcome" We own a family business my son who is a mature 17 year old works for us, On two separate occasions recently I sent him to F&F and on the 1st instance they refused to sell him spray paint saying it's against the law to sell to anyone under 18 he went down the street to ACE Hardware and they were not aware of any such law. The second instance I sent him to exchange Oxy Acetylene tanks for our shop he was wearing a company shirt, driving a well marked company truck and was paying with a company credit card again turned away refusing to call our office for our permission. Guess what Farm & Fleet your driving the next generation out your door and into someone else's. Wake up and review your ignorant company policies

Never a good experiance

I never have a good experiance here. I just went to Blaine's farm and fleet to have a key made. Since the key is a chip key I brought the key with me. The guy used every excuse under the sun not to do the key To include it cost him $350 last time because he cut the key wrong. Nothing but lame poor excuses and incompetent workers.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I bought 3 garden gnomes and on 6/2/2021 arrived destroyed. I sent many e-mail and today is 6/15/2021 and I didn't have any answer from Blain's Farm & Fleet and my money is flying yet. Stay away from this company

Bad customer support, refuse to allow return on bad product

Product ordered was Dewalt power cleaner and the pressure is so minimal that it's a useless item for anyone and it's not surprising now after trying it that it's not called a pressure washer. I'm disappointed that I couldn't return the item. I won't be buying from Blain's ever again from this merchant after this experience. Stick with local stores that have real customer satisfaction guarantees as this store won't even listen to customers.

I went to FF Appleton Wisconsin to buy…

I went to FF Appleton Wisconsin to buy a firearm advertised on the website. The salesperson Jesse and his sidekick Jacob were very rude and not helpful. The gun I wanted was not in stock. They did nothing to assist my purchasing effort. Horrible experience. NEVER shop FF again.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid like the plague. If you order something and FedEx loses it (extremely common during this pandemic in my experience) they will refuse to process a claim with FedEx and refund you. You will be left without the money you paid and without the product. I had to file a complaint with the BBB. Order from literally anywhere else!

Damaged in shipping, refunded promptly

I purchased three large bulk container from this company. Upon their arrival I found that FedEx had severely damaged one in shipping. Upon contacting Blain about the problem and sending them pictures as requested I received a refund. I am very pleased with my interactions with this company. Everyone that I talked to was polite and courteous. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I feel that the containers could have been packaged better. Order # 15918028

I just had the worst customer service…

I just had the worst customer service experience at farm & fleet in the returns department at Eau Claire just now. 6:45p, heavy set woman. Yikes, farm & fleet, I was about to send $175 and considering $450 worth of striker gear, but I wasn’t able to return a $30 unused tip up. It’s not really that big of deal, but the way I was treated after I was just told I could exchange it: beware of this particular woman. Yikes

No customer service!

I placed an order on 12-17-2020. The order went through and in minutes I received an email stating that the order was cancelled -- no explanation at all. I called their 800 number and spoke to a representative that said she would send an urgent notice to have "corporate" contact me within 48 hours. After 48 hours, with no phone or email contact, I called back and spoke to another representative that said she would have to contact "corporate" and have them contact me. It appears they have no clue and just give you a canned response. I was trying to purchase some last minute gifts, but by the time I hear from them Christmas will have passed! I will go elsewhere to purchase my items. Overall I would give them zero stars, but you have to give at least one star to leave a review.

They cancelled order that is still listed in stock

I ordered an item and 2 days later got an email about it being cancelled so I ordered from another retailer. I was told that it was cancelled because they couldn't verify my credit card. I verified it and ordered another one of the same item. Same issue, but the representative told me, when I called again, that the card had been verified and I could ignore the cancellation email. The website showed the order was in progress. Over a week later I got another email that it had been cancelled even though it is listed on the website as in stock. I finally gave up and paid $25 more and purchased from Amazon. Will not attempt to do business with this company again. Great prices, but you won't get the product.

Frustrating experience after checking…

Frustrating experience after checking on line for an item The closest store is 1 hour away. I checked for y=the item the show 12 in stock at RW1. So after driving there I can't locate the item. I get help he tells me they have 12 in stock 1/2 house later he and the mgr. let me know it must be a computer mix up. They do not have them. So in the way out I buy a different item pay for it then I'm told the are out of them but I can by the floor model. DO I get a discount because its a floor model mgr says no! That doest'r seem right. Not happy I buy the item and was told to drive to the pick up area long the side of the store. Which I do. I'm the only car in line. I go in give the pick up slip to the attendee. He says I go get you item. Then 2 cars pull up behind me. Hw says pull over to bay 1 and I'll get you item. I wait and wait looking back he is now loading the car that pulled up behind me. I walk back wait until he has finished the loading. I ask the attendee wasn't I next in line? He says yes but I'm here alone. I replied I understand but weather you have 1 or 5 working does not change the fact I was before the costumers behind me. he says you are right I'm sorry and finally loads me. What a bunch of crap. Going there was a frustrating experience.

Don't Pay Extra for Faster Delivery

Bought a nail gun on Nov 27th, Thanksgiving Day. Knew it would not get shipped until the 28th. Paid about $25 for two day air delivery, Fed Ex. Given this expected the item on Sunday (Fed Ex Sunday delivery is the norm now as they deliver 7 days a week) at the latest.
It has been 4 days since order and still not here. Don't pay extra for delivery, just go standard rate or get the free delivery. The extra money for two day air was wasted and just extra income in their pocket.

Yardmax model# yb6770 snow blower

Bought this to replace my tired single stage snow blower. What this snow blower offers with its hand grip warmers, headlight and cup holder and overall performance, expect to pay hundreds more for a competitors equivalent model. It was fun and fairly easy to assemble. I expect this machine to last for many years but if I do need parts I know Farm and Fleet will have at can get what I need.

Ordered a chair online

Ordered a chair online. When the chair arrived, it was totally the wrong chair and one arm to the chair they sent me wasn’t even attached to the chair. Then I had to drive over 20 miles one way to return the chair for a refund to avoid the hassle of sending it back thru the mail... not to happy!

I have tried to order several times…

I have tried to order several times online for pickup at the Davenport IA store. Every single time I can watch the online stock go down to zero before my order is picked. (Turkey fryer) DO NOT use the online order system. It SUCKS. Heck, even in store inventory is jacked. I paid for 2 bags of black diamond sandblast material they said was in stock. Went around back to pick it up and "inventory was inaccurate". Took weeks to actually get it. Will be shopping Theisens from now on.

Decline of Farm and Fleet

Been a customer for 50 years. My experience is it really depends which store your at. My current store is Bourbonnais IL. It is the worst!
Looking for items the site claim is in stock without any luck. You would think one of the 6 employees, 3 of which were managers would offer help, NOPE!
I asked an employee where the item was i was looking for. Duhhhh. The tool rep she was talking to offered to help, not the F&F employee. Of course like so often in the Boubonnais store they are out and inventory is someone else's problem.
I have 10 lead acid batteries on the farm. F&F used to provide all, not anymore. Last three came from Batteries and Bulbs after the F&F batteries failed after less than 1 year..
