Around five year back we wanted to change from curtain to blinds. We were staying then around Fareham area. After looking at various options we decided to go ahead with local company, Fareham Blinds (FB). The main reason to go ahead with Fareham Blind was, it is a true family owned business, managed by Brother & Sister duo, Adam & Jolene.
Family firms tend to have a greater sense of commitment and accountability at their heart than big corporate firms, as it is not just the needs of the business at stake, but the needs of the family too. This desire for both the family and business to stay strong fosters additional benefits, including a greater understanding of the industry and customers, the organisation and the job; stronger customer relationships; and Fareham Blinds represent all of above.
By then they were based near Swanwick Boat yard. We got best quality at best price. Also it was always easy to talk to both Adam and Jolene who were so good at understanding customers requirement and give their customer a complete solution at very reasonable price but without compromising on quality.
So without any hesitation once again we contacted Adam and Jolene when we moved in to our new house in Southampton. We were pleased to know that in last few years Fareham Blinds also grown and moved to bigger premises in Segensworth. This time we wanted completely automated blinds. We decided to get few quotes including some big TV advertising companies. After receiving few ridiculous quotes from others, we were pleased to receive quote from Fareham Blinds, which was almost half compare to other big firm like smart blinds, and few others who were using Lutron systems.
It was very big job (more than 35 motorised remote control blinds) but from measurement to quote to fitting it took Fareham Blinds only 2 weeks. Actual fitting was completed in 1-1/2 day.
Once again we were very happy with Adam and Jolene’s services. The quality of product, and finishing, which was second to none. What we like about Fareham Blind, is their quality, punctuality, perfection and after sale service (which you really don’t need because job is done so well) and if you are looking for quality, professionalism, perfection at affordable price then I will happily and strongly recommend Jolene and Adam’s Fareham Blind.

Fareham Blinds were helpful and attentive from the start. They installed two large motorised blinds over a set of bifold doors and we are very pleased with the result.
On installation day they took great care to get everything perfect, and took the whole thing down and started again because they weren't entirely happy with it. We would not even have noticed the defect they were addressing.

We chose Roman blinds in silver grey. They look perfect!

The motor went on one of our blinds. After an initial visit, two days later the new motor was fitted and the blind back working.

Fareham Blinds were professional and polite from start to finish when quoting and installing a large kitchen Roller blind. They answered all my questions and were patient as I dithered over which one to choose
Jacob the fitter was punctual, efficient and polite leaving everywhere clean and the newly painted walls unmarked.
I am very pleased with the blind which has a matching strip of fabric across the front to mask the actual roller blind. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We made contact with this local company to get a quote for some roller blinds. They were very quick to respond and set a home appointment at a time to suit us.

They visited us and were so friendly and knowledgeable about the products and fabric options. They were also able to quote right there and then, so no waiting for any follow up emails or appointments. During the survey, they suggested using fitted blinds for our requirements rather than rollers. We were certain they would be out of our budget, but they worked hard right there and then to give us a price which was similar to what we had expected for roller blinds. The surveyor was just so helpful and patient, we paid our deposit there and then.

It then only took 3 weeks for the blinds to be made to order in their local factory and an appointment was made for their installer to come and fit the blinds. He was very careful, neat, tidy and efficient, but there was a slight problem with one blind where he was not satisfied with the fitment. To our surprise, he returned later that day after having had the blind re-manufactured in the factory.

We are genuinely so pleased with every aspect of our experience with Fareham Blinds, the fit and finish is wonderful and we would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone considering blinds for their home or office.
