COVID-19 FAQ
We know many FareCompare users had their travel plans impacted by COVID-19. We hope first and foremost that you remain safe during this difficult time. Here are answers to some common questions:
Why is FareCompare still promoting travel offers and tracking price changes? Travel restrictions vary in multiple countries and we are adjusting the departure dates for flights in our emails to match these restrictions. Of course we want you to follow the restrictions set up by your health and government officials.
How can you cancel a flight or move the departure? You will need to contact the airline that you booked your ticket with (FareCompare does not handle transactions). Look for an email that has a confirmation number. This should also have the airline's contact information.
Will airlines charge you if you change your departure?
How do you know if you can fly to a certain destination? Either contact the airline if you know which airline you want to use, or visit the government site for your destination.
What can you do while waiting for travel restrictions to end?

I only want the specific dates and times fares. For when I am traveling. I don’t want to leave two days earlier. Have 2 stops with 32 hours of travel time. I don’t need that garbage. I don’t need all the garbage notices that go along with it

Frequently updated (e-mail notices)…
Frequently updated (e-mail notices) when fares change. That is "up to the minute" updates which allow the best price to be captured.

Priceline used to be the best now they're all the same they don't even give you the option to bid on a price anymore I found them better off calling the airlines directly 9 out of 10 times the only thing all the different sites have done is charge the same price give or take a dollar so now it looks like everything's the same rather than being given the opportunity to actually get a lower rate in fact I've had to pay three times as much for my plane ticket to Jamaica very disappointed in that your prices just make me not want to travel anymore
