Absolutely the worst scam company I’ve ever come across. Farebuddies is nothing but a bunch of thieves and liars. Everything about them is fake, from their so-called “internal confirmation” emails to the fake phone numbers they put on their paperwork. They never actually issue a real ticket, they just take your money and vanish.

When I tried calling the number on their confirmation email, some random Indian receptionist picked up and said they had nothing to do with Farebuddies. Total fraud! They hide behind fake names, fake emails, fake phone numbers – literally nothing about this company is legit.

This is not just bad service, this is a full-blown scam operation. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these clowns. They are professional con artists who will rob you blind and leave you with nothing.

Be aware!!! They’re scammers!!! I booked my flight 3 weeks in advance, never got confirmation of my flight and boarding pass. The day before flying out I called to confirm my flight and they try to change me additional $160 each way on top of my reservation! They refused to refund my money

Sounds like the same problem that I've been reading on your site. Except I found Fare Buddies through Trivago. They must know this company is a problem. Booked a one way given one price they confirmed the booking but not the actual flight. When I called they informed me that that price was no longer available and there were no refunds. This is fraud plain and simple. Thanks Trivago!!

I tried to book a flight to Columbus OH.
I received an email saying I would get a conformation and my email tickets in 4 to 24 hours. I tried to call, calls didn't go through, yes they are scammed. I called my bank and stopped the transaction just incase they try to put it through.

I booked 2 tickets for my husand and I return to San Juan , They confirmed it.Paid in full , the. got an email saying not confirmed to call them , they said my husband the secondary booking was confirmed on a last min deal and mine wasn t they could put me on a flight a week later I said no , The tickets were non refundable , they said to get me on the same flight it was $1400 more , they said they would credit my portion which was $300 , I had to pay an additional $1100 for my flight as we needed to go together on a business trip . I could have booked dorectly with united for $400 less

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Book online and received an email with my name, flight time, booking ID and price etc. But is also stated "your booking is not confirmed yet and is under process". Received a phone call from a "suspected scam" phone number and did not answer. I call a day later and was told to call the next day. Called the next day and was told the person I needed to speak with was not in and to call the next day. Called again and was told the flight I booked on was not available. I had not received and e-ticket or confirmation. Was told I would be charged a cancellation fee if cancelled. I never received confirmation or an e-ticket so what is there to cancel ? So why a cancellation fee ?. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This website is a scam!!! DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY HERE. I booked a ticket to London on here, and they said they would give me my ticket within 24 hours. After 24, I did not get the tickets. I called them and they said I only booked for 2 and refused to give me the tickets. THEY ALSO CHARGED ME TWICE. DO WHATS GOOD FOR YOU AND GO TO E DREAMS OR FLIGHTHUB DONT FALL INTO THE SAME SCAM I DID

This is a total scam. They don't even have really working website. But that's the least of their problems. They advertise super low price then you buy ticket with them they tell you they going to give you ticket in 24 hours then they charge your credit card and then they call you to charge another $300 for some fees and charges that they never mentioned before. And they also tell you you cannot get your money back

They will tell you that you are on a standby list and if you want a ticket you have to pay extra.
I just did nothing! I ignored all emails and phonecalls. And also that my credit card had a pending charging from united.
And after a nearly two weeks, no more phone calls and emails. and also the blocked money on my credit card was released.
Hence: if you made the same mistake than I and booked with them. just do nothing!

FareBuddies.com is a scam. I purchased 3 tickets for $883 last night and received a confirmation with the itinerary and the cost. My bank then received 2 charges stating they were from American Airlines totaling over $1600. No tickets received. When I contacted them about this, they said they could not get me the tickets I purchased and refund my money. They actually had the gall to ask for more money to get me tickets on a different day. I filed a fraud investigation against them with my bank, but don't expect to get anything back. Run away from these people.

I dont normally have anything of this magnitude to voice. The worst experience w/this company. False advertising. Promo price and they set you up to lose better rates. They do not have the "inventory" to which they should HONOR. NO indication of amt of tickets available= tics are available. After booking. Call them=they confirmed. Then no tic via email. Then I find out 1 passenger confirmed. 1 stand by.=both on standby unless I pay more=upsell you to regular price and pay more pending tic prices (upgrade) from basic to basic economy. Whats the difference? NONE! Either Approve 2 tics or deny both... 3days later I waited for someone to call me back as they told me to speak with the original agent that confirmed my itinerary. 1 day prior to take off=still no ticket. Lose my job bc I was in chrg of the travel arrangements for my boss. I could have purchased a cheap tic if I had bought with another company trying to save a few bills. 3 days later the price went beyond what I could have paid. Also the site app was set to CDN $. After you pay. Your receipt says it is in USD. Leaving June 18, $ out of pocket and face losing my job. I am now under review for not following a seniors directions. Only one person was kind enough to Try to assist. All other agents either hung up or kept me waiting.. (LD call)
Run away from this company because you will pay for anguish and disappointment.

This is a SCAM! Had to cancel my card. They told me I am on standby after purchase because the airline had no seats. I called the airline and they had plenty of seats. Then they told me my fee was non refundable. Airline had no record of my reservation!

Total scam! They sell you standby tickets without really telling you that. Then they call you several times to tell you your spouse is on standby and you can't cancel but you can pay $400 more to get a real ticket. What?????

Don't get fooled by their lower price offerings. They will sell you plane tickets that are actually on stand by and not the actual seats on the plane. Only to get you to call them and charge you some ridiculous amount so that they book normal ticket (which you can buy directly from the airline and cheaper). Stay away!

100% Scam. Same as many others - my son booked as they were 100 cheaper vs AA for same flight. Got a call from India or Pakistan saying that fare isn’t available and he would be on standbys and is #9 in line. To get it confirmed on same flight it would be double to cost. AA shows same one way flight for 40 bucks and agent says I am lying and it’s an out of date offer from AA. She puts me on hold and I immediately lock down card as no charges showing. I call credit card and they say it could still be pending but likely they are trying to charge while you are on hold! This company should be shut down!
