DO NOT BUY FROM MNS (My New Sofa Ltd) – Absolute Nightmare!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is an absolute disgrace! My experience with MNS has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid them at all costs.
First, my original delivery was canceled because their van broke down. Inconvenient, but fine—these things happen. To make up for it, I was promised free sofa assembly and rubbish removal. Sounds fair, right? WRONG.
Two days later, two of the rudest, most unprofessional delivery drivers turned up. One of them looked completely out of it—slurring, hiccupping, and acting aggressively as if he was drunk, high, or both. His attitude was outright threatening. The other guy, while more presentable, spent most of the time trying to keep his lunatic partner under control.
Then came the scam attempt. Despite being promised free assembly, the aggressive driver demanded money and claimed he couldn’t leave the sofa unless I paid up. When I refused, he got even more aggressive, shouting that the sofa wouldn’t fit through the door. His calmer partner had to step in and actually think of solutions instead of just barking threats.
After much back and forth, they decided to unpack the sofa in the lobby of my affluent London building in Wimbledon (where rents are £3000+ a month, mind you). What did they do next? Turned the lobby into a dump, leaving rubbish everywhere and making no effort to clean up. They even had the audacity to smirk when I told them I’d be complaining.
To make matters worse, the next day, other residents reported that their Amazon parcels—marked as delivered in the same lobby—had mysteriously gone missing. Given the behavior of these so-called delivery drivers, I have absolutely no doubt it was them.
MNS is a terrible company hiring absolute cowboys to do their deliveries. Unreliable, unprofessional, and shady as hell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
