I want to share my experience with…

I want to share my experience with Facely.

They have not refunded me any money. Despite my request for a refund, I have not received any payment back.

They charged me €131, which is a high amount, especially considering that I did not use the application at all and received no benefit from it.

I find this very disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

There is no option to rate this app as…

There is no option to rate this app as zero stars. I downloaded the app with a $5 trial. $27 was deducted from my account separately on top of the $5. The support staff said it would take 30 days to assess my request for a refund. They have not kept to their own policy as it has now been 3 months. Upon contacting them, they advised me that they no longer had access to check my refund. This is a terrible app with even worse customer service. From what I tried of it, it wasn’t even worth the $5.

Updated 5/12/25
Followed the request of the support team to request a chargeback from my card provider. This was issued within 24 hours… however.. two days later, i received a message from my card provider to say the merchant (i.e. Facely) had invalidated my dispute and said I was not due a refund!! When I challenged them on this, they told me my refund had been approved and was duly registered with the chargeback. This was complete bulls***t as the chargeback was closed by my card provider.

Even more suspiciously, the merchants name on my bank electronic bank statements has changed from Facely to speed learning. Absolutely scam and I warn anyone to steer clear.

Scam Alert

Scam Alert — Facely App

I want to warn others about a fraudulent app called Facely (usefacely.com).

Their ad popped up on Facebook, disguised as a makeup recommendation app with a simple $5 trial offer.
The moment I added my card, they instantly charged $27 + $5 + additional hidden fees — without any clear consent or service delivered.

When I contacted their support, I received the same copy-paste “we’ll refund you soon” email, multiple times, but no refund ever came.
They are not on Google Play or the App Store, which makes it impossible to manage or cancel the subscription safely.

⚠️ Do not fall for this — it’s a classic subscription scam running Facebook ads to lure people into fake trials.

SCAMMERS!

To be avoided! I agreed to have a $5 AI make up trial. Next thing i know it, a pop screen comes for Colour match which I press without thinking anything. There is an immediate charge of $27 for it. I contacted the customer service who were very apologetic for such inconvenience, however as per T&C they said they cannot refund the $27 for the Colour match which i initially did not want. They simply trick people with their pop ups that don't say 'you will be charged extra". Cherry on top, DO NOT FORGET TO cancel your paid trial before it ends and it is not that simply, there is no feature on the account to do that. You have to contact customer service and fill out the form! RIDICULOUS!!!

I deleted my account

I deleted my account, yet Facely AI still charged me the monthly fee. Despite multiple written complaints, although promised, they haven't issued a refund. Very disappointing and untrustworthy service.

Facely is a scam

Facely is a scam, would rate zero stars if possible. Downloaded app, subscription was $5, provided my credit card details (please don't do that), was immediately charged $5, then $47 same day, then $57 a few days later. Bank blocked the card and was later informed by bank that they tried to charge $47 on two separate occasions after card was blocked. Had to ask bank for a new cc with different numbering. At no point did the app work or did I receive any services, DO NOT USE THIS APP

100% scam!

Tricks you into paying more than intended, and you don’t realise until you see it on the bank statement that you’ve agreed to something you didn’t know. They’ve found a way to exploit how people handle information overload and it seems like it’s done with that purpose only! And from reading other reviews, it looks like they’ve succeeded.

Hilarious, ridiculous and embarrassing

1.The ”app” is not really an app, it’s just a shortcut to the webpage that you can download on your homescreen.
2.The analysis of my face was based on the data I previously gave in the ”reasurch” question in the beginning. So, they didn’t really analyze the picture.
3.Advices and tips are hilarious . I fill like ChatGPT can give much, much better.
3.Tutorials: even though it’s divided in different sections: like face, eyes etc, they are all about eyes. Just different videos on eye makeup.
*Overall I’m sitting here and laughing with myself that I actually payed $5 for this. Would it be too much to ask to get it back? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Shady but I like the skin analysis

I got a subscription a month ago. The login screen was not working. I checked trustpilot and saw all the scam reports and got panicked. Cancelled my credit card. Then I decided to contact the customer service. They immediately replied. Anyways, after a few emails I could finally login. I got a skin analysis and really liked the personalized skincare routine which I started following. So I decided to keep the subscription. I will update my review if I decide to cancel it.

Total Scam!!

Total Scam!!! They got me with a $5 trial and I quickly realized I wasn’t interested and emailed them to cancel the trial. They responded with a link to fill out a form to cancel the subscription. They then charged me $50 the same day which I disputed with my bank and stopped my card. Save yourself the hassle and don’t try them.

It's a scam

It's a scam! They just took USD 50 from my card for nothing. I even made sure I don't have active subscription and they still charged me! Absolute scammers and their courses are useless.
