Love Facebook Marketplace
Well I unlike other reviews have had nothing but a good experience as not only can I post on Facebook it allowed to to simultaneously link to my other groups easily
Absolutely rubbish say off I'm sure…
Absolutely rubbish say off I'm sure Facebook is involved with most of the scammers as they do nothing about them.
Only fit for scammers
Only fit for scammers. No way to effectively report scammers and dodgy dealers.
Marketplace is full of scammers
Marketplace is full of scammers who act like they want what you are selling then they ask you your phone number and want to send you a six digit code that you read back to them so they can steal your phone number and they also have people who try to rob you every time you try to sell something you'll give them a meeting place and they'll rob you at gunpoint it's happened to me five times I'm done.

Waste of time
Using FB Marketplace to sell items has become a waste of time. Please fix it or get rid of it.
As a first time user I found that…it is a scammers paradise
As a first time user I found that Facebook's UK marketplace allows scammers to function with ease. No protection for buyers (me) or any kind of redress, it is out of control.
I won't be using it again
Beware of Facebook market place advertisements
I was looking through Facebook market place when I came across an advertisement for plastic, metal and wood outdoor storage sheds when I went into the system it was a Lidl website and it appeared very genuine so I ordered three storage sheds one for myself and one for each of my sons I paid for all three by credit card and was sent an email stating payment was successful I then received an email from a supposedly Lidl stating that if I did not pay fo items that they could only hold on to them for 24hrs but on checking my bank account the money had already been payed to whom I do not know I tried to get in touch with Lidl customer services which I found impossible to do so I then rang card services and cancelled my card and am in the process of getting in touch with my bank and will also inform Action Fraud.
Firstly Lidl should be easier to get in touch with if they think anything of their customers and Facebook should be vetting the advertisements that they put on line more thoroughly I have also noticed that the same advert is coming in under Aldi and several other companies so public beware it’s a true saying if it looks too good to be true it probably is a scam I never thought I would ever be caught out but these scams are getting more genuine looking all the time.
What do these saddos get out of their fake ads.?
Thought id look for a washing machine on market place as mine is no longer working.I saw 8 that got my interest in so sent them emails Only 2 replied and messed about and played email ping pong and avoided giving a collection address although i asked several times. They both eventually said that someone else was collecting although a collection day and time was arranged for me but still no address given.I firmly believe that the wasing machine for sale doesnt even exist except in the sellers imagination
I got scammed and facebook didn't care.

Multiple ripoff ads
Multiple ads claiming celebrities making money . By foreign Bitcoin scammers. I have reported scam umpteen times only for FB to ignore.
Also many cars for sale at ridiculous low prices, clink on sellers profile and see they are selling many more cars , they then tell you to contact another person again foreign scammers
Where are trading standards when they are needed WFH !!
Insanity
It's just crazy. Every second ad is a scam, for example an iPhone 14 plus for €80 (supposedly) or a PS5 for €100 😂 Clearly trying to attract unsuspecting people.
I'm trying to sell something myself (in Germany) and 99% of the inquiries are also scam attempts from suspicious-looking profiles.
reallyyyyy every single request!!!?!!?
You can report it, but it's always unsuccessful because nothing has been done yet mhmhm 🤡🤡🤡

I am a business i sell mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs, my marketplace account was stopped for breaking commerce rules, the irony is my daughter showed me a sponsered paid ad on there with a women blowing a black guy. So porn is fine but a respected mobility business isnt. Pathetic
SCAM CITY WEBSITE!!
SCAM CITY WEBSITE!!! Any posting that has the seller registering recently is a SCAM!! Facebook releases their funds before a seller has to prove that they sent the merchandise to the buyer!! Save time and money and buyers BEWARE!!
FB marketplace allows scammers way too much and fake accounts
FB marketplace has no way to report people for real. You can click report all you want but they don't actually have people working on that. No way to call them either. Found multiple people doing expensive lego scams, and even photoshopped pics of a person who is not them holding a picture- way too easy for scammers on here.
Scammers paradise
Scammers paradise. I reported mutiple times fake sellers - people using same photos to post item from several towns, but they never agree to meet and only want advance payment. Facebook always says that it's not agains the policy.
Beware!
Contacted lister of an item. No response. Found four other listers offering this same item with a couple of days. The photos were identical including the windows behind the item. A scam indeed. Buyers beware of Facebook Marketplace!
Buyers always waste my time by not…
Buyers always waste my time by not showing up. Someone didn't even buy a product and gave me 1 star review. Now I can't even remove that review or reply to that person named Harvinder. Facebook doesn't have any options too. It doesn't look good if you damage a 5 star rating with a false bad review.
