Tried to cancel and EXCESSIVE CHARGES

I tried to cancel too, after getting their EXCESSIVE charges! I thought i clearly had. I had written in, canceled things through a site and emailed them, etc, come to find out, months later STILL BEING CHARGED 40 A MONTH! I WANG A REFUND. And that's WAY TOO MUCH money for your services. Does seem like it's praying on the impulsive person! )<

Worst experience ever!!

Worst experience ever!!! Cancelled a month in advance twice and they kept billing and overdrew my bank account twice! Refused to return my money and no way to talk to anyone!!! Don’t do it!!!!

Keeps me on track

I’ve been using FABU for about three weeks to build new habits, and it’s been genuinely helpful. Unlike many other apps, it doesn’t feel overwhelming — instead, it offers steady support with a well-balanced, gamified experience.
It helps me stay focused on myself and actually follow through on what I start.
A solid app if you’re looking for a bit of structure and consistency in your day.

Unexpected renewal with no reminder or easy way to cancel

This app uses unclear subscription practices.

The renewal was hidden in fine print and I was not aware I had agreed to it. As soon as I saw the PayPal notification (with the payment still pending), I contacted Fabu to cancel, but they refused.

You cannot access or manage your subscription from within the app, and there were no emails confirming the renewal or warning that it was about to occur. When I requested proof that I had agreed to this charge, none was provided.

The renewal fee was $125 AUD for just 12 weeks, which I consider excessive and misleading. I am a psychologist and stopped using the app because I found it unhelpful.

I strongly encourage others to be cautious and check for hidden renewals before signing up.

For transparency, all subscribers agree to our Terms and Conditions before completing their initial purchase. After your purchase, an order confirmation email was sent with the next renewal date, amount, and a link to manage or cancel your subscription.

The PayPal notification shows a payment already authorized under this agreement, which is why it couldn’t be canceled at that stage.
