I spent £2k on a sofa that sank beyond what you'd expect for a sofa of that price/quality, I didn't raise it within the year (my mistake) but figured there would be advise or a service available from the retailer I entered a finance agreement with but they just hid behind the "it's out of warranty" response even though I wasn't asking to claim which I explained.
Really bad and will not shop there again!
If it helps anyone reading to the end the in-Store colleagues were really helpful during the sale and it was delivered on time, but if a retailer isn't interested in offering even a paid service to keep their products in good condition it ruins the experience for me
Where and how to buy recliner chairs!
We were greeted and shepherded through the whole process of buying two recliner chairs by the wonderful Matthew in the Kings Lynn store. This included coffees on arrival at each visit!
From start ( September 2024) to finish Matt was to be our guide and mentor The promised arrival of the chairs before Christmas was achieved.
The delivery was in the hands of Roderick, whose speedy efficiency was amazing. He knew exactly what he was doing! He, like Matthew, was very polite and when he left, taking every speck of packaging with him , we relaxed into our new chairs which are beyond comfort !

Extremely poor customer service…
Extremely poor customer service following a 7 month wait for our sofa order. When I went into Lincoln store I was pretty much told by the regional manager it was my fault I had no sofa as I shouldn’t have got rid of my old one (which I hadn’t we’d moved & sofa didn’t fit, not the point tho!) as whilst they advised 3 months delivery on the sofa it was out of their hands & no I can’t request my deposit back either!
Had to chase for updates on delivery dates, promised a good will gesture still not received 4 weeks later!
And also advised nobody to complain to other than people I have spoken to over the phone , advised I could email a complaint if I wanted but that would be dealt with by the same people I was speaking with! Talk about going round in circles! Apparently regional manager advised head office is in Australia so no point in complaining?!
Such a bad & frustrating experience .. shame because I have used this store before with no issues & both sofas purchased have been excellent.
Shocking customer service
We bought a sofa, chair & footstool in January of 2024, the sofa was delayed & we didn’t receive it until May, in November one of the feet on the footstool broke off, after them insisting on sending a technician to look at it we got a report from them saying as it wasn’t manufacturer fault they weren’t going to do anything about it. They simply weren’t interested in doing anything about it, not even a goodwill gesture of a replacement foot. As we took out the accidental damage cover they are making us claim from that, which seems ridiculous for just a foot! It probably cost them more to send the technician out than it would to just send out a replacement foot. We also had to keep contacting them to find out what was going on as they are awful about keeping you informed.Will not buy from them again
Had my sofa less than a year .
Had my sofa less than a year .. the back part of my sofa has broken .. they have sent a company to come look at it and went back to fab furniture to say it was done with force ( weight ) ..which is absolutely wrong .. it was done by my partner sitting on the sofa .. they have refused to fix the sofa .. told me to go private with the company that came to look at it .. rang them they are refusing to fix it .. THE SOFA IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD … It under warranty they should be fixing it .. told to no longer sit on the sofa because it will course more damage , I shouldn’t have to pay someone to fix something when it’s under warranty ..
Ordered a chair on 4 August
Ordered a chair on 4 August. Still waiting. Been told twice how long it will take. Now told could be another two weeks, making it nearly five months waiting. We paid up front, so they have had our money all this time. Store staff have been very nice, but they clearly seem embarrassed having to tell us the constant changes. Will not be recommending this store to anybody in fact, I will put people off from going in.
Absolutely abysmal company
Absolutely abysmal company. there are some great products and the staff are really friendly and welcoming but there the positives end. We visited the Lowestoft store 0n June 10 2024and ordered two settees. The lead time was 17 weeks and we were eventually given the date of delivery as October 8th. We disposed of our old settees and readied the room for the arrival but 4 days before the delivery it was cancelled, We were given a time of arrival as mid November We heard nothing more so mid November we returned to the store and after some tapping away on an unseen computer with an intently concentrated expression we were told our furniture would be there week ending November 25.This date came and went without any other communication or ou furniture so back we went again and were told it would be there in a couple of days. This pattern continued until 18 December when we asked for our money back. Lo and behold! We had a phone call from the warehouse of Dec 27, take it or leave it attitude. this dare was changed on Dec21 to the following day when our settees arrived ,similar to our order but not entirely correct. When we reoported this on the same day at the store we were told someone would contact us . We are still waiting! It seems that customer care ends the minute your order is confirmed. The one star is for the delivery team who were the only good thing about the whole experience

very poor product - bed frame bent within months , otherwise verbally they said life long guarantee for bed frame ,, What a joke...poor assembly , faulty product , waiting for replacement ?

Do NOT buy from Fabb Furniture. Ordered a sofa bed in May. Told we would receive in July. Delayed delivery to September. Arrived faulty and cannot use as a sofa bed or a sofa. Still waiting for it to be fixed. Was told November. When chased told December. Still waiting in January. No offer of any compensation. We are so upset. PLEASE AVOID. I give zero stars.

Would have given 5 stars, but still waiting for the broken back foot of one of the sofas to be replaced. Currently propped up by other means. Delivery was prompt and efficient apart from a broken rear foot. Told that the delivery people would call it through and that was weeks ago.
Purchased 2 leather sofa's
Purchased 2 leather sofa's, 3 months old and already the cushions have compressed enough to feel the frame.
When they sent an accessor out to carry out a report offered extra foam which could only be fitted on two seats that day. I didn't have report so asked the engineer if I could talk to my wife and make a decision after we had the report. Engineer agreed and also stated this would not effect the guarantee and fitted later visit. Received the report stating no manufacturing issue ( surprise, surprise). Contacted Fabb and was told they could do no more, they wont fit any foam, not interested. As explained I was told foam could be fitted but now told not now, They just mess customers around. DONT USE THIS COMPANY FABB,DONT USE THIS COMPANY FABB,DONT USE THIS COMPAY FABB, FAR FROM BEING FABB
Fabb furniture contracted a third party…
Fabb furniture contracted a third party delivery company to deliver our sofas. We informed them our living room was upstairs. Upon arrival they said it wouldn’t fit up the stairs (without trying) and were about to leave with our sofas. We said to leave them in the garage. The delivery men struggled to even pick the sofa up, so no wonder they wouldn’t get it up the stairs. Instead We paid a couple of removal men to get it upstairs and they did it with ease.
Fabb “customer services” said it wasn’t their problem and we had to take it up with the delivery company (we don’t know who they are and we didn’t contract them, Fabb did) . So basically this is a company who will do anything they can to wash their hands of a situation. I found a Facebook group dedicated to people who have had issues with Fabb with terrible service, so beware

Do not buy from here, I waited 13 weeks, on the day of delivery the guys put the sofa together but the 3 seater was sagging in the middle, none of the seams aligned with the other half of the sofa and the recliner footplate is lower than the opposite side, myself and the delivery guys took photos and wrote on the delivery sheet all the issues. . Rang the store straight away and was told to call the customer aftercare team, They sent out a technician who also agreed the sofa was not right but again did not put this in his report. He raised the feet to maximum height but the sofa was still sagging slightly in the middle he then said he could not fix the recliner foot plate as it would not move any further, but in his report he said it was all completed and fixed. What a liar! . The aftercare team are disgusting, they just do not want to know. Tell you loads of rubbish on the phone and are completely rude. They need their customer care skills updating The sofas are made in the far east apparently ( only told by a member of staff, after i purchased it whilst i was complaining on the phone) )in store, i was told they are made in UK so another lie! Sofa looks diabolical and now they are saying it's fine and it's just moving furniture, what a load of crap. Even my friends and family can see the issue, but the technician cant? Very odd that dont you think? I have now raised a complaint with the
consumer credit act and they have opened a case on my behalf. I have emailed fab furniture on numerous occasions and been ignored until today, when i received 2 emails saying the technician report is OK and that's that basically, all i want is a replacement,I've spent all this money on a sofa, which is by no means cheap, so i expect it to be perfect. So do not buy a sofa from here it is not fit for purpose and a waste of my hard earned money. The only other option so far is to take it apart and go dump it in the store in wednesbury where I purchased it from.I also found out that they are transitioning over to Nick Scali apparently so these will be the new owners.
I am now waiting on the consumer credit act service as I have sent everything over to them ie photos phone records, emails. In all fairness the consumer credit act service has been brilliant, Just hoping they can help me resolve this issue as I am truly gutted and stressed about my sofa

So we ordered our sofa on the 16th June…
So we ordered our sofa on the 16th June 2024 and was told it will be delivered 4th October 2024! We then received a phone call on the 1st October 2024 to say it will be delivered on the 4th October 2024 as planned. We then received a call on the 4th October 2024 too say it will not be here until middle of November 2024. ( NOT HAPPY ) Then we receive another call middle November to say it will not be here until early December 2024. ( NOT HAPPY ) Yes you guessed iy another call to say delivery will be 18th December 2024 and then finally it arrived on the 18th December. Got a phone call to say they can deliver on the 30th December 2024 ( we had been promised we would get this before Christmas ) so after alot of talking and phone calls we finally received our order on the 20th December 2024 ( 6 Months after we ordered it ). Very happy with the sofa but NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never buy from this company again just due to lack on consideration and no ownership of the problem. Delivery guys were great and very efficient, Bridget at Milton Keynes was great as well.

Ordered our sofa in July which we were very happy with and it was the one we wanted, got told it would be delivered in September which was great then working around that getting the living done. The time kept changing to begin of October then end of October then November at this point we were ready to give up on it. after so many phone calls and a trip into the shop to ask why it’s taking so long, for them to say it’s a fault on the material, alls they could say was it will be here when it’s here, then said begain of December.. still nothing today the 20/12/24 we had it delivered thank god, can’t fault the delivery guys this was the best service of it all.
Were very chatty, were always careful when bringing in the parts of the sofa, put carpet down to walk on plus took off shoes, made sure everything was ok before they left….
23 weeks of sitting on bean bags plus with two young kids hasn’t been the greatest

I would give less stars if there was an option. Ordered beginning of October with 5 weeks promise delivered. Many calls and promises after been told today we won't have sofa before Christmas even though been promissed two days ago its already in uk with christmas delivery. Will never recommend anyone to buy from Fabb, customer service below any minimum expectation
