1 Star- underlined charges beware

1. Even with full coverage, tire punctures are not included, and no assistance is provided for tire-related issues.
2. If your car is faulty, they will replace it with a new one. However, be careful with fuel, if you’ve already filled the tank and the car stops working, they won’t compensate you for the fuel you added.

The customer is considered a liar until they can prove otherwise...No trust.. Dishonest.

On 17 March, I rented a car with booking ID 527885. Initially, the experience seemed smooth. Due to heavy traffic, I anticipated being slightly late, so I contacted them, and they granted me an additional 15 minutes. Unfortunately, because of the traffic jam, I exceeded that by another 10 minutes. I returned the car and went home, and no one informed me that extra charges would apply.

Two days later, I received a receipt showing that an amount had been deducted immediately for fuel charges without my confirmation. When I contacted them, they acknowledged their mistake and refunded the amoun, but only because I had taken photos before using the car. Otherwise, I believe no refund would have been issued.

After 20 days, I received three messages from my bank indicating failed deduction attempts from “HD 01A Floor 01 Building” due to insufficient balance. I recognized this as being linked to the Ezhire app. When I contacted them, I had just transferred some money into my bank account, and they immediately deducted it.

They then claimed that I returned the car at 8:00 PM, whereas I actually returned it at 5:55 PM. They refused to issue a refund, stating that I had no proof and that this was in line with their policies.

Additionally, they promised to call me back after checking with their team, but I never received any follow-up. I had to contact them again via chat, where they continued to evade the issue with repetitive responses.

Moreover, they refused to remove my bank card from the app immediately, stating that it would take up to 90 days, even though all dues had been cleared.

Overall, this experience involved multiple mistakes, unnecessary stress, and a significant waste of time. I truly regret using this service.

If anyone plans to use this app, I strongly recommend the following:
- Make sure to take detailed photos of the car at pickup and drop-off to protect yourself, so they can believe you and avoid any false claims.

- Use a prepaid or digital payment card that you can top up as needed to prevent unauthorized charges and avoid being robbed.

As the return time exceeded the scheduled booking period, an additional day’s charge was applied in accordance with our standard rental terms.
